This is not DDKP4, this is DDKP1. The original post on samobile.com got confused. The ROM is DDKP1 PDA with DDKP4 Modem, DDKPH CSC.
There is already a thread for DDKP1 here.
And a more recent ROM, DDKP2 here.

I'll report this thread to mod to delete it.

So which one i should flash...DDKP1 which is DDKP4 o DDKP2..??
and do i need to use modem from DDKP4...oh damn confuse..please some one enlighten me

They're all part of the same file. this firmware is basically ddkp1! u can flash this one as it is the newest!

DDKP2 is the newest. It is stable, smooth.

To stop confusion: This post is a duplicate of DDKP1 post. There is no new firmware here. There is no DDKP4.
DDKP2 is newer, see the links I posted above. This thread should be closed.

you dont need to flash the xbsa v7 to get root. there's a preroot rom in the v7 thread, named XBSAV28ROOT.ZIP .

Unfortunately, all the images of the English section of this guide are broken. Also the links to the P920 DLL files are dead.
I would very much appreciate if you know any other (working) guide to flash .bin roms in order to install the prerooted XBSAV28ROOT.ZIP.
I've already installed the v28b .kdz rom but I didn't flash custom bootloades/recoveries/root yet, so I suppose that I won't have any problem if I flash the prerooted XBSAV28ROOT.ZIP, right?
I just need a (working) flash .bin guide and the .dll file.

Thanks, I started reading it yesterday and the most updated guide I found is this one (technopat.net/forum/android-telefonlari/9128-lg-optimus-3d-ultimate-flash-guide.html) which is not even on xda. However, it still misses the .dll file. But I guess I'll find it somewhere, no biggie.
In any way, it's a pity that while there are three good guides (one of them sticky) for flashing .kdz roms, there isn't any updated guide with working links for flashing .bin roms. Not complaining though, just noticing.

right i got now the falshtool with ckrack but no dll file ;(
FlashTool 1,2 + ckrack
and i dont now relly what do do with dese things

OMG! ..... okay, seems i didn't make it clear. go get the XBSAV28ROOT.ZIP, ITS NOT V7 ROM, IT'S the official v28B ROM WITH ROOT. did u get it? this ROM doesnt have any xbsa custom changes! , it just with root and recovery!!!
and btw, xbsa v7.2 works smoothly.

search for "unlock root v2.3.1".. I have a cracked version but I dont remember where I downloaded it, and I didnt even know it was a cracked version.
When u have installed this one, you just Press the root button and sit back while the software does the job. All you need to do on the phone is enable usb debugging and mock whatever...

You dont lose your IMEI because is installation for backup, you can lose your IMEI if you flash CP file in odin

Just to summarize and translate it:
For all people rooted and unlocked via DirtySanta and using their US model single SIM LGV20 in LTE mode you can try to replace your original baseband MPSS.TH.2.0.1.c3-00027 with this one shared here which is an older version - 00011 and see if it makes difference in signal reception
Do not forget to backup your original baseband prior to that!

Where is the boot.img from? Someone modified it or extracted it from an existing official LG release? (e.g. can boot.img be trusted?)

Alright, so I have a G8141 stock that I am using on US AA&T network. I would like to enable VoLTE and Wifi Calling without disabling my fingerprint sensor. I think all I need is the modem file but haven't messed with ROM's in about five years. Could I get some help please?

All , and when you are going to flash , exclude all and just leave the file you want to flash. I know it doesn't make sense , but if you need to flash it all , you'll have a full firmware.

It's strange, did you manage to crate the FTF file ??
You just need to select the folder and then flashtool will recognize it's contents, all you need to do is select the model of the phone and give a name to the file and the click on create . There's a tutorial over here on how to create the FTF file.
