I created a Extended Power Menu for our lovely i9001.
Crt-Off and another battery icon is also included in this mod.
This Mod is based on deodex XXKPS rom

Flash instructions:
push the .zip on your internal sdcard
boot into your recovery menu
mount /system
then select apply any .zip from internal sdcard
search for Extended-Power-Menu-signed.zip and flash it
So this is ONLY FOR DEODEXED XXKPS

but i lost my aosp lockscreen..

yea thats because for both mods we have to edit the android.policy.jar

You think you can implement the AOSP Lock-Screen or write a How-To so I can do the ExtendedPowerMenu myself?

Thx I also tried it some time ago, but used another tutorial and failed

in my lockscreen mod i edited the lockpatternkeyguardview.smali
i could send it to you and you can include it in your mod

Just try it Make a CWM-Backup and if it does not work, go back to CWM and restore /system

is it possibel to get the extended powermenu for the not deodexed rom?

Hmmmm... but XXKPG isn't a 2.3.6 version? I use Cranium RC5 (2.3.6) and have XXKPG.

The baseband could be XXKPG but the version is probably KPS/KP6/KP7

How to Installation :-
1. Download the ICS theme for DDLA2 (XXLA2)
2. Place it in the root of the sdcard.(not in any folder)
3. Flash it via recovery.(Press middle key+power key+up volum button)
4. Do a factor reset.

I should boot to recovery mode and update from sd card right????????am i missing something here?????

First u need to root ur phone...
Second U must install CWM
Third please do check : u are only use DDLA2 (XXLA2)
Fourth yes after u root & ur phone using DDLA2 (XXLA2), then u will flash ur phone using CWM...

Yes it work, so many people are using this... But please remember this is only for DDLA2 (XXLA2)
If you still want this deodex rom, flash using ODIN for getting DDLA2 (XXLA2)...

what is a dexodexed rom?????????

No one wants to tell me????????

A deodexed rom is a ROM(more like a patch) where the odex files in your /system/app folder deletes and saves memory. Get it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1644385

Deodex is basically removing [DOT],ODEX files in your android system, Why remove it? I think too many answer u can find in this forum, if too lazy for it ask my good friend, HIS NAME IS GOOGLE

Use boot.img of amy ROM made fir A7 and it should be a GB ROM ok then touch screen will work and
BM4 is releasing 2morrow so wait for it rather than wastingtime on it

You will have to change the lib folder also for camera to work

Does it need baseband upgrade
I didnt update my baseband to ICS (I cant actually tried all methods but failed). So does it requires ICS baseband!??

i allredy installed ICS but its still unrooted / I NEED ROOT ;D
the thing is that i don´t want the changes that xbsall made in his rom

you dont need to flash the xbsa v7 to get root. there's a preroot rom in the v7 thread, named XBSAV28ROOT.ZIP .

Unfortunately, all the images of the English section of this guide are broken. Also the links to the P920 DLL files are dead.
I would very much appreciate if you know any other (working) guide to flash .bin roms in order to install the prerooted XBSAV28ROOT.ZIP.
I've already installed the v28b .kdz rom but I didn't flash custom bootloades/recoveries/root yet, so I suppose that I won't have any problem if I flash the prerooted XBSAV28ROOT.ZIP, right?
I just need a (working) flash .bin guide and the .dll file.

Thanks, I started reading it yesterday and the most updated guide I found is this one (technopat.net/forum/android-telefonlari/9128-lg-optimus-3d-ultimate-flash-guide.html) which is not even on xda. However, it still misses the .dll file. But I guess I'll find it somewhere, no biggie.
In any way, it's a pity that while there are three good guides (one of them sticky) for flashing .kdz roms, there isn't any updated guide with working links for flashing .bin roms. Not complaining though, just noticing.

right i got now the falshtool with ckrack but no dll file ;(
FlashTool 1,2 + ckrack
and i dont now relly what do do with dese things

OMG! ..... okay, seems i didn't make it clear. go get the XBSAV28ROOT.ZIP, ITS NOT V7 ROM, IT'S the official v28B ROM WITH ROOT. did u get it? this ROM doesnt have any xbsa custom changes! , it just with root and recovery!!!
and btw, xbsa v7.2 works smoothly.

search for "unlock root v2.3.1".. I have a cracked version but I dont remember where I downloaded it, and I didnt even know it was a cracked version.
When u have installed this one, you just Press the root button and sit back while the software does the job. All you need to do on the phone is enable usb debugging and mock whatever...

if u flashing 4.3 themes than flash required.zip than flash theme
if u flash cm theme than flash cmextras.zip

stock deodexed flashed requied files and got bootloop, removed batery few times, still bootloop. so well its not working for me :/
