[Q] how to root pre installed stock jeallybean on canvas 2

i bought canvas 2 a week agi nd it already had jeallybean 4.1 installed in it but i google alot cant find a root file for ot
tried sp flash tool as well but dind work
any help would be apriciated
new memmber of xda
lets how much help can i gei here

please note that i have not updated from ics to jellybean
when i bought the new canvas 2 handst jellybean was pre installed in it
i think their is no root file avialaible for it plz check the screen **** of my version

Search in general section of a 110 there you will find method to install super su app.

none of them works with my rom its stock rom jb 4.1 which was pre installed when i purchased the handset

Until now 5 handsets with JB 4.1.1 preinstalled I successfully rooted with same method
Exactly where you stuck??
With recovery or root
First flash recovery with tool (better flash with complete stock room)
Replace stock recovery with cmw
Then copy su binary and superuser to your ext sd and install thru recovery

unable to flash recovery when i connect phone usindg sp flash tool detects phne nd then completes100% nd bar below become reds nd then 1303 eror something like verifical fail eror occurs

Try using the latest Sp flash tool on windows 32 bit windows

I tried it with windows 64 bit but it didn't work. So installed the 32 bit version of windows and tried it. This time the flasing was succesful.
U can try any version of 32 bit windows, or xp

Drivers are different for 64bit & 32bit
Install proper driver it work on both

Yesterday I buy 3 sets.. new.. with Jelly bean preinstalled..
these phone not rooted..
same problem as @mohsin say
try every thing....
but nothing work
I want to root these piece ... please help..

Bro i read ur error ur drivers not install properly........ So u getting this error

I install all type of driver... which I have
old Phone (1 month pre) working with these drivers
but new not working..

[Q] bricked during cynus T2 rom flashing

i had already rooted my cell and installed cwm mode
after that i was flashing cynus t2 rom but unfortunately the process was not completed then i choose to restart
after that it stuck on the boot logo
what to do plzzzzz help me:crying:

Flash stock rom using sp flash tool and root again and install cwm and then flash Cynus t2 with proper steps with phone charged more than 50%

touch not responding
after that i flashed it with SP tools
all was done |
but when it started the touch was not responding
how to proceed further

Just get a working recovery for your phone. Flash it via SP Tools and Install SuperSU update.zip along with su [by fixing permissions]...:good:

Hello guys
I present you first ever recovery ported for our micromax Canvas2.2 (A114).
i made few backups with it there was no error rest u will have to explore
as this is my first development for android.
if u find any bug we all including those have some knowledge of android will try to solve it as i am not so expert.
Download cwm 5.5
You can install it via mtk mobile uncle tool or flash by so flash tool.

I tried backing up the stock recovery using terminal emulator but for some reason it failed. Right now my pc is not working, I'll make a backup of stock recovery using adb as soon as my pc gets repaired..

"pmt changed for the rom; it must be downloaded"
It means that the scatter file or partitions from MMX Unite 2 is different from Myphone Agua RIO Lite
hope theres a way i can repartition my device to perfectly fit roms for the unite hehe because thers a little or none in our country wants to develop anything for it :crying:

You may report it to whatsapp developers as the issue is related to whatsapp not unite 2. They will help you better.

Hey Guyz please Help me. i had successfully flashed Firmware on my Unite 2 but it seems there might be an error in some of the files i have dowloaded and it caused hard brick to my device. it couldn't turn on. I cannot reflash it.. it just pops up ERROR 4032: Enable DRAM Failed- whaqt to do now, any idea how to get it back please tell me if anyone knows how to fix this issue
