How sad to say this but spflash tool said that:
"pmt changed for the rom; it must be downloaded"
It means that the scatter file or partitions from MMX Unite 2 is different from Myphone Agua RIO Lite
hope theres a way i can repartition my device to perfectly fit roms for the unite hehe because thers a little or none in our country wants to develop anything for it :crying:

You may report it to whatsapp developers as the issue is related to whatsapp not unite 2. They will help you better.

Hey Guyz please Help me. i had successfully flashed Firmware on my Unite 2 but it seems there might be an error in some of the files i have dowloaded and it caused hard brick to my device. it couldn't turn on. I cannot reflash it.. it just pops up ERROR 4032: Enable DRAM Failed- whaqt to do now, any idea how to get it back please tell me if anyone knows how to fix this issue

Why do u want to find any other way?? This procedure is not so difficult... are u getting some kindda errors?
I hav first flashed cwm recovery using sp flash tools..
N then flashed su binaries by cwm recovery....
Its the 100% guaranteed method..
Also if u like to unroot in future u can unroot it..

IKf the user know the use of MTK tool 2.4.8 to generate their own CWM and there own patched up Boot.img i read in this forum that the functioning of phone will be smooth.
I am interested to know, what is the version of the CWM, how you have obtained the CWM is it from any other source or you have used any special tool to generate it. I am a learner, and if the tool is simple enough to grasp then I thought I can use it in future for my phone.
I will be happy to see yur reply and learn.

Just get a working recovery for your phone. Flash it via SP Tools and Install SuperSU update.zip along with su [by fixing permissions]...:good:

Download Package from Attachment
Enable USB Debugging on Micromax A117 (Phone Setting > Developer Option > Check the USB Debugging)
Unzip Downloaded File to Desktop
Open Folder and Open RUN.BAT file from Extracted Folder
Press Any Key to ROOT
Now connect your phone...(now lets wait for driver installation on your pc...)
Wait till all process completion and again press any key to REBOOT your Phone...wait till reboot and your phone ROOTED Successfully...
Enjoy ROOTING... :angel:

Download "Framaroot.apk" from XDA... search for it
Install as Normal Apk...
Open Framaroot and Root...

Hi, pls clarify to me. How to unroot if needed and is it possible to get back my warranty after unroot? I dont want to lose my A117. bcoz, I already rooted my HTC Wildfire and lose my proximity sensor, till now i can not resolve that issue.

i made few backups with it there was no error rest u will have to explore
as this is my first development for android.
if u find any bug we all including those have some knowledge of android will try to solve it as i am not so expert.

You can install it via mtk mobile uncle tool or flash by so flash tool.

I tried backing up the stock recovery using terminal emulator but for some reason it failed. Right now my pc is not working, I'll make a backup of stock recovery using adb as soon as my pc gets repaired..
