hie huys i want to root canvas 2

hi guys
i tried the rooting method ...

which is mentioned in the above link
but it show adb server out of date...
pls help guyszz wat to do im not able to root..
i hve installed all drivers also

Try going to unlockr.com and search there u may get it easily...I think it will be a dos program where u have to press 1 for normal root and blah...

Yaa I did that it says adb server is out of date:laugh:

its work on jb ???
so i download n root my phon ..
if it work on canvas 2 jb ?

Cwm
Flash cwm or twrp using sp flash tool. And flash supersu binary. It should work for both jb and ics. It is better than bin4ry tool.

U guys are missing drivers...refer to my this thread for installing proper drivers..

Why do u want to find any other way?? This procedure is not so difficult... are u getting some kindda errors?

I hav first flashed cwm recovery using sp flash tools..
N then flashed su binaries by cwm recovery....
Its the 100% guaranteed method..
Also if u like to unroot in future u can unroot it..

[recovery] cwm for A114 (canvas2.2)

Hello guys
I present you first ever recovery ported for our micromax Canvas2.2 (A114).
i made few backups with it there was no error rest u will have to explore
as this is my first development for android.
if u find any bug we all including those have some knowledge of android will try to solve it as i am not so expert.
Download cwm 5.5
You can install it via mtk mobile uncle tool or flash by so flash tool.

I tried backing up the stock recovery using terminal emulator but for some reason it failed. Right now my pc is not working, I'll make a backup of stock recovery using adb as soon as my pc gets repaired..

I have a pre-made MIUI waiting for tester to test. But I think this device is not used by many people.

No,I think.because both phone have diff. ram,processors so you can not use it proprly sometime it works

How sad to say this but spflash tool said that:
"pmt changed for the rom; it must be downloaded"
It means that the scatter file or partitions from MMX Unite 2 is different from Myphone Agua RIO Lite
hope theres a way i can repartition my device to perfectly fit roms for the unite hehe because thers a little or none in our country wants to develop anything for it :crying:

bro i have made an stock flashable zip but while flashing it is saying status 0 installation aborted.....

hey guyz there is some bug in my phone... i dont know why but only my whatsapp got slow... i deleted all the data of it and re installed whatsapp... it was working fine.... aftr some time i got the same problem... thn i had to do the same thing again... i dont want to loose my chats again and again... this has happend to me for more than 3time.... plz help with this...

You may report it to whatsapp developers as the issue is related to whatsapp not unite 2. They will help you better.

Dram Failed
Hey Guyz please Help me. i had successfully flashed Firmware on my Unite 2 but it seems there might be an error in some of the files i have dowloaded and it caused hard brick to my device. it couldn't turn on. I cannot reflash it.. it just pops up ERROR 4032: Enable DRAM Failed- whaqt to do now, any idea how to get it back please tell me if anyone knows how to fix this issue
