Digitizer flex cable - TouchPad Accessories

Hello All,
My touchpad has stop responding from digitizer, and I´ve detected that the fail is in the flex cable from the digitizer board. Does anyone of you knows where I can find a replacement?
Thanks guys!

Hello, I have another TP from one friend, and I have done the swapping. First, replaced the entire touchscreen, failure persist, then replace the blue control board, the fail persist, then i´ve replaced the flex cable, FAIL Dissapears!
I´ve put back again all except the flex cable and it works....
Thanks

Its so hard finding replacement parts... I was considering purchasing a broken one, getting the part I need, then selling it off again for other parts.

Yeah, it sucks. My Xperia PLAY and Apple devices thankfully are very easy to repair and have parts everywhere.

Usb Cable

I have a problem with all my usb cables. They all worked fine, then they started to become loose where I had to wiggle it to charge. I then brought another one, it wotked perfectly fine, very stable. Now after like a week or two it started to become a loose. I could wiggle it around easily. Now my other usb cables dont even charge. I tried it on two other phones and its the same thing. Any ideas?

A common problem with micro USBs from what I've experienced. I'm saying it based on both my wife's Vibrant and my G2x. I bought the replacement originals from each company but same results.

I buy all my cables (cat5, hdmi, usb, coax, etc) from Monoprice (add a .com to the end - I am still a newbie so can't post links) whenever possible. Great quality at very reasonable prices.

LCD broken - Need info/guide on replacement

Edit:
Okay friends. Found a supplier laptopscreen.com
The issue is, there is no manual or video guide available. Did anyone successfully done DIY replacement of LCD or digitizer? Is it required to remove the PCB s and components for detaching the LCD from digitizer?
Any info appreciated. Thanks

Thanks. But my friend is not much rich to bear that much. So, I have to.
Anyways, i'm from Dubai. I asked Asus and they charge almost equal to the price of a used tablet here. That's Dirhams.1300=~$350.
So looking for some online supplier. I have some knowledge to fix it myself. Just need the LCD.
I found only one on eBay but that's costly also

Your almost better off buying a new unit, my man. Unless the lcds from another asus model is compatible, which would most likely be the 700, which would be the same price.
****t id be hitting up that indoor ski resort if i lived their.

[Q] Torn Guts

So, I tore this part of the motherboard.
Should I solder a connection back in there or am I screwed?
Try soldring it to c if it woorks else u need to buy a new motherboard flex cable n its not that expensive

I looked at it closer and that ribbon has about 50 small wires running the length of it, so there's no way I can solder it. The ribbon is wired into the blue PCB, and the whole assembly runs about $50. Not worth it for a phone I intended to use only for testing ROMs.

I also tore this piece on my motherboard during a digitizer replacement now no wifi,Bluetooth or volume buttons. I am going to replace it (30$ on eBay). Im hoping it solves my problem. I was also wondering should I reflash my rom after a dissasembly?

I can't speak to that part. I got this phone from a friend who shattered the screen, and I couldn't even flash a Rom because of the sorry state of the digitizer.

Sorry to bother your again. i searched datasheetarchive.com/RTCK-datasheet.html. but couldn't figure out which one is similar to my phone. I'm new to this.
while i was searching for a solution i came across this;
Released support for HTC phones based on MSM8x55 CPU, which are enumerated on USB port as “QHUSB_DLOAD” device. Now it’s possible to repair these phones without soldering any wires. Even without opening !
Following models are supported at the moment:
HTC Desire HD (HTC Ace)
HTC Desire S (HTC Saga)
HTC Desire Z (HTC Vision)
HTC Flyer 3G
HTC Flyer WiFi
HTC Evo View 4G
It is possible to force QHUSB_DLOAD mode by disabling Vdd line on eMMC chip. Check Desire S TP info for example. This means, You can work with any MSM8255/MSM8655 based HTC phone, as long as You force it into QHUSB_DLOAD mode.

although my model isn't listed I wonder if this method could work on my phone, as whenever i plug it to PC it's showing that QHUSB_DLOAD is being installed
I guess it's possible but I would poke around at gitoriuos.org for a while before attempting it.

Buddy I think you're in luck coz it seems your mobile could be repaired using USB, without soldering. If you could manage to open RIFF BOX software without riff box i think you might be able to repair it even without buying a riff box. jtagbox.com/jtag-news/riff-jtag-htc-usb-cable-support-added/

thanks buddy, appreciate your help. but still one x isn't listed. I've tried flashing using by setting TCK speed, yet it's showing "Device not found". I think only option left is finding another place on board where i can solder cables or buying a new motherboard, or waiting till RIFF releases USB repair support for htc one x.
Can take a small copper wire and solder it to the leg where the pad came loose? I know they use copper wires as jumpers for breaks unless it is layered.

i installed the software loaded qualcomm drivers fine, but doesn't load because of the box port check. you'd need a hacked version of the software that bypasses the box check. know of any software only solutions for htc/qualcomm?
