anyone no where i can pick up a full housing replacement for p920? it had a cracked digitizer which replaced but the housing is slightly damaged and wouldn't mind sorting that out as well

Last time I checked I couldnt find any but if there is one out there it would most likely be on Youtube.
Well just went and did it without ever doing a digitizer replacement before now my beautiful g2x is flawless even fixed my backlight bleed 100% somehow.

Yes I was a little worried but i was REALLY careful to not tear ribbon cables or soldered wires while taking it apart and man the glue that holds the digitizer down is ridiculously strong!

Did u heat it with a heating gun? That helps a lot. A hair dryer works too but takes a little longer.

how did you deal with the glue?
Literally broke the digitizer out and chipped at the corners till it all came loose very barbaric strategy

If its the same one I saw from gadget fix on ebay its for $349 that way too much. I found the digitizer for the p990 but im not sure if it works. I know the LCD work because ive read a few ppl doing it but i havent been abe to find anyone yet saying that the digitizer works too. They should because it the same phone but i want to make sure before I do it. My biggest issue is that im stuck, I dont know if i should just wait another week and get the sensation or fix the g2x.
dropped my phone a few times before getting a case so I'm trying to find a replacement bezel. so far ive only been able to find the front face cover or the lcd. anyone know where I can get the middle bezel?
Where did you find them? Did you check ebay?
You might be able to find a broken g2x for cheap to use for parts if buying the parts separately comes out to cost around the same

i just got my screen replacement for my phone and it didnt come with any adhesive, should i see how it feels without the adhesive or just send it in to HTC to fix it
i have been watching a lot of teardowns and they are saying there is no way to replace just the glass, you have to purchase a whole new LCD, but they are selling just screens on ebay so i dont know if it will work

I don't know but by the looks of our hoX..its difficult to separate the glass from the digitizer..i tried it with my friend's HoX and i already tried heating it but it wouldn't separate..

it is extremely difficult if not impossible to separate the glass from the lcd on our screens unfortunately without damaging one or both of the components. Don't get me wrong, I've seen it been done, but it's very risky. I also dont advise using just any adhesive when dealing with our phones. use the suggested 3m adhesive when replacing the lcd+screen, I think its fairly cheap now. I used some crazy glue I bought at the store and it turned out damaging my screen a bit, so a small strip across the screen didn't recognize touch, which was very annoying. Gonna be replacing it again very soon.

You might be able to find some rear housing replacement for the phone but that all depends on if you want to dissect the phone as well.

I read the 1st post and thought I had posted it for a second. Exact same thing happened to me. I was not going to keep it but a case will hide it and it's a $400 phone new. My wife isn't going to let me spend that much on a phone so I decided to keep it.

I have a bezel and assembly without the glass sitting on a shelf in my office. Had a shattered screen and the replacement is a one-piece assembly as was mentioned. I removed the glass and LCD and have a good bezel with the 'touchpad' buttons still in place. Could let it go....if you can use it. Found a webstore that sells the screen only but seem to be out of stock. Believe it was Rounded.com
Yeah. I saw Rounded.com too. Well i might hold it scratched for a year (so scratches can build up) and then replace it. And components should be also cheaper.
