Hey, i was just wondering how you updated the cm9 latest nightly build update
Did you use is through Recovery?
A lot of Androids r similar as far as updating. If its just an update, usually u just need wipe cache and dalvik. If its a entirely different build then u will need to do a Clean Wipe. If after reboot u find no Gapps u can always just boot into recovery again and flash Gapps. Some guides will recommend doing a factory reset which will clear user data.

yes, this is universal CF-ROOT, which can flash on all version of GB FW.
the addon is for the EXT4 conversion, which convert partition format.
this is to boost up you phone perfomance.
which you have to learn that, after you have know more on flashing
btw, after flash cm9, you already on ext4
What is the point of making wipe?? I didn't do it when I installed it. Shall I reflash the CM9 ROM or keep it like this???
Also another thing. Why I cannot overclock my phone?? When I had the stock rom I could overclock to 1.2Ghz with SetCPU, but now I can't.
Please help me.
Thank you.

G3MOD Kernel for JB/ICS

Hi,
I have taken the code of G3MOD code and modded it for JB.
Also I have included the Bluetooth fix that I have done for ICS. Yeah the same fix is also available in JB.
Use this kernel with ICS & JB as the bluetooth fix is applied only to these two versions.
Try it out and let me know the comments.
Download Here
Thanks to all G3 developers.
Special Thanks to g3mod team, marcellusbe, hillbeast, cdesai.
If I forget to thank anyone it's not intended, PM me. I will thank you.
Note: I am not responsible for any damage caused to your phone (softbrick or hardbrick).
Thanks mate , Hope to see more development from your side as well ...to make G3 the best ever phone
Can you make a .tar version please? I can't flash it through CWM.... I flashed JB then without rebooting flashed this but it still didn't work... Same with gapps, they don't install for me...

When you install the ROM you should wipe the data as well but when installing the kernel you should wipe cache and dalvik cache.
Click thanks if I helped.
Thank you very much....
A small query....
If I install the kernel immediately after applying JB update then will I be able to access cwm the next time??
Thanks
kernel "bluetooth???"
hello
i have installed this kernel for cm7-8.3, and wipe dalvik cahche but i probed bluetooth whit another phone and got message "couldn't connect"
the copulation is ok, but not connect!!!:crying:
earlier i was foryo, and bluetooth is working perfect!
any idea?
I have not tried with CM7. Use this kernel with ICS / JB as the bluetooth fix is applied only to these two versions. Will try with CM7 and update the kernel later.

Search the JB thread in the development section. He released a build but it is old and has quite a few bugs in it which he has fixed.
I reflashed JB, then g3mod, wiped data, cache and dalvik cache. Neither CWM nor data2sd are working, but the bootscreen changed, and I don't get stuck. Can anyone help me?

Few questions...

I've few questions:
1. When I change custom roms, I should do Full KPE everytime? For example, if i've install CarbonRom1.7 and after that I want to install ThinkingBridge ROM. I should just format everything or I need to do Full KPE ?
2. All roms have problems with Wifi? I've tried X-Gamerz, CarbonRom1.7 and ThinkingBridge ROM and I need to close and open the wifi for few times to connect. On stock rom, it work very well.
3. I tried to install Real Football 2013 from market and when it starting is remain stucked at Gameloft logo. Why?
4. If I install a rom based on 4.2.2 A2, when I should install first CM10 A4 or CM10.1 A2 ?
I'm sorry for my bad english and for these questions, but I don't understand some things.
1. Changing customs rom, go into reboot recovery and do a wipe then flash the rom you want
2. Yeah most roms have that problem but you get use to it im just using x-gamerz rom
3. Im not sure why isnt it working, i think theres a thread that says what games work on our device look for it.
4. Hmm not sure what you mean but if you are install a rom 4.2.2 you will need to install cm10.1 4.2.2 for the rom to work

No, if they share the same rom base (like qwerty & gamerz). In that case, just wipe cache, dalvik, install the new rom, install gapps, and you're good to go.
