that app can unlock them so you can download apps from USA, NOT SURE about the video part , since most of the time video stream sites use ip address lookup , so you would have to use some sort of android vpn with a usa server if that was the case.
but for just apps it works great

I hav tried this...but again it opens the default market

You can unlock it using market unlocker, enabler or using VPN connection. But when you try to purchase movie , songs they will check your credit card country.

they actually are hosted through youtube and i dont believe they have subtitles, sorry, also due to drm and licencing the video player doesnt install on rooted phones, if you have root you will need to unroot or use the web market to view the movies. on a computer you can log into gmail and enter http://market.android.com/movies. on the phone they can be played in the web browser by first changing the useragent string to desktop mode by going into the adress bar and typing about:useragent and go to that adress. make sure it doesnt try to run a search. a popup will come up with a list of useragent options, tick the one labeled desktop and then go to http://market.android.com/movies you may need to log into gmail for this as well.
Has anyone watched a movie on here? I'm wondering if we can use our hdmi-out.

Video Downloader

Do we have any app that acts like vdownloader or youtube free downloader?
or can you guys suggest any app that can download videos frow the internet, m0vies or clips?
Sent from my GT-S5670 using XDA App
The stock internet app can download most video clips.
When prompted, choose internet as a the option after clicking the link.
Dolphin Browser along with flash download plugin downloads video from sites. I have heard about Firefox going the same, but unfortunately its not compatible with our mobile.
There's another application called vbrowser which allows you to download videos from a few sites.

Yeah last time I checked it worked for youtube also.
Its been taken out of the market you'll have to google it.

That's all I got for now!!
Tubemate is the best app to download youtube videos..
But for other videos you'll have to use your stock browser or any other browsers downloader coz I guess there's no other alternative as far as I know..

[Q] Best Music Streaming App ?

I am looking for a Music Streaming service for my Kindle fire, that i can use an APP to access the service from my Kindle.
Considerations :
. Must work outside US (in Brasil)
. Doesn't have to be free (a montly fee is OK )
. I would like to stream my own music collection
The ones i've checked :
. Google Music - US Only
. Amazon Cloud Player - US Only
. Live 365 - Excelent, but only for radios. Still excelent
. Rdio - App from market is "uncompatible"
Any other ideas?
Thanks !

try skifta, you have to have the app on your kindle and the software downloaded on your pc (both free) this is what I use to stream music, video, and pictures from my pc. It even has remote capabilities if you are on another network
PC: http://www.skifta.com/
Android App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skifta.android.app
Look up auto proxy and use Google music

+1. Audiogalaxy is all I use for streaming music. Install on home PC and Kindle (both are free) and you'll have your music anywhere u go with internet/wifi. I travel the world for work and it has never let me down.

[Q] Anyone have xfinity tv player app apk?

Not the Xfinity TV app, but the new Xfinity TV player app.
I have an Acer iconic A100. Comcast says it works. Google says it should work and they have no idea why the Play store says it is incompatible. So I am trying to get the apk to side load.
I have it on my Evo 3d and it works great on it. But I want the larger screen.
I would also like this too, as I live in the uk and have a us proxy and am using a family members account from the usa.
My Xfinity Play app asks for superuser permissions at start up. Fyi. Anyone know why?

EDIT: I was thinking of the TIME-WARNER fix.......

[Q] Q google play doesn't show any paid apps

Hey now are you all,
I had middle east Honey comb, and upgraded to ICs Austrian version.
Now i can't see any paid apps, books, magazines in play store, is there any fix for that ??
Seems nobody knows the answer or seen this situation before.
Google play also telling me alot of apps is not compatable with my tab !!
"This app is incompatible with your Vodafone Samsung GT-P6800."
would anyone try for example Sonic 4 Episode II THD Lite?
I mean it's pretty annoying , am i the only one who is facing this ??
Anything with THD in the title is made for Tegra, so won't be compatible with your 7.7. A good way to check play store issues is to log into the play store via web browser. Do paid apps show up via web browser? If not it may be country restrictions.

I think it's the country restrictions, i've checked Egypt isn't supposed to get apps with payment
but anyway thanks for your help.
Yes It's the country restriction. If you want to buy Apps or Games. just root your device and using Market Unlocker and change it to USA Market and then you can use your Credit Card. I did this in Iraq. so It's working. But you can buy apps only if your Credit Card is an international one.
