[Q] MCCX a110 Canvas 2 JB 4.1.1 rooting

HELP PLEASE,
sir I m owning a micromax canvas 2 a110 .
recently I rooted my phone ics and flashed CYNUS T2 Rom on my canvas 2 .
when I try to root this rom, nothing happening to me .
tried flash tools as well it just srtuck at 0% no green ring to show progress.
when I choose recovery from path and press f9 to download
I always get an error not all the images are loaded properly you still want to continue I pressed yes nothing happens.
tried cmd as well to flash all commands worked except flashing recovery c:\recovery.img
it shows waiting for device as my device is attached 0123456789abcde
My drivers of mobistel is installed and adb working fine as it can be traced in device manager.
help me to root my jb cynus t2 rom so I can install pre rooted roms thanx....

i think you need the cynus t2 driver..

0. Uninstall the micromax canvas 2 drivers.
1. Install mobistel cynus t2 rom using stock recovery.
2. Connect phone to pc, install mobistel drivers.
3. Remove phone from pc and turn it off. Open device manager in computer. Connect switched off phone to pc. You'll see a device in the COM ports section. Quickly right click it as it vanishes after a few seconds. Right click it and select update device driver.
4. Select the folder in which the cynus t2 drivers are installed. Now the drivers will be installed.
5. Replace the recovery.img with cwm recovery in stock v2 folder.
6. Remove your phone now and let it remain switched off. Open sp flash tool in administrator mode(just in case).
7. Load the scatter loading file and click download button.
8. Connect the phone now. And now everything should go fine.

yeah my mt65xx drivers was not installed after installing i used sp flash tools selected scatter file n recovery pressed download
red bar completes and showing enter usb in 15 sec after that i get an error helpp.............

error 8100 cant find usb port
what should i do know

sir when i use sp flash tool to root jb cynus t2 rom, i selected download when i connected my device it shows 100% with red bar and shows enter usb in 15 sec and after that shows an error 8100 usb port cant be located .
help as com ports are installed for MT65xx and is working properly and named is preloade usb vcom(android) Com 4.

yeah my mt65xx drivers was not installed after installing/updating from drive i selected mobile cynus t2 under program files and said encounted a problem and cant update drivers so i downloaded MT65xx drivers from xda site and browsed and drivers got installed named is preloade usb vcom(android) Com 4. i used sp flash tools selected scatter file n recovery pressed download
red bar completes 100% and showing enter usb in 15 sec after that i get an error helpp.............
error 8100 cant find usb port
what should i do know

did you try drivers from pdanet?..
did u use "run as admininstrator" for running flashtool... then try without that. because for me, bin4ry rooting donot wrk if i use run as admin option!..
in one tutorial i found
"Please note that, even though it isn't mandatory to select it on the list of images to flash,
preloader file must be present in the same folder as the other partition(s) that you want to flash, or else phone will not be able to enter into download mode."

so try keeping the cwm recovery.img in the same place as stock recovery was .. ( this is a wild wild gues) ..

Year I m tried a lot of trying I though buying an android will b a good move
But I think I ll stick to windows.

hey , dont loose hope yet bro..i know u hav done all steps correctly. but in my opinion, u need to have more patience ,,..you havent tried all your options yet....
other options are to run spflashtools in a different windows version...may b ur neighbours PC... with drivers freshly installed..
or wait for some jb root tools to come up

I tried all possible methods for rooting for months and still the progress bar is @ 0%.... can anyone help me???

Humm it seems all are having similar problem ....
the best solution will be is to proceed freshly i.e format your windows and start again
remember install drivers properly and then use flash tool
see the results n keep posting .....

If u have CWM or twrp Recovery...just download su update from here - http://download.chainfire.eu/382/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93.zip copy it to sd card & flash it via CWM or TWRP. maybe it will help u.

clean your ExtSD before visit..(important)
i.e. any ROM, Recovery, flash file..
keep only Android defualt folder & your media (MP3, Video)

bro no one check.... sd card .... he give u sd card when u give them mobile... beacasue its mendatory

hey my mmx a110 is rooted..
recently i tried to reset my phone by normal settings reset method not cwm reset..
now when i press power on button it shows the reset logo n then again reboots n again reappears the reset logo..
n again reboots...
plz help me fast.....

buddy the rom u installed is for canvas HD not for canvas 2
try getting into CWM
and if u r not able to do so then use sptools to flash offical jb/ics to ur phone

Again remember .....to go to cwm Reinsert charged battery hold power+volume up+volume down

my mobile battery also not charging so i have purchased universal charger after charging i will try again.
but please provide step by step instruction.

You should use the sptool.
follow these instructions
1. download SPtool.
2. download official JB
3. download driver of the phone.
download the above files from this post. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2167244
4. Install drivers and sptool.
5. Open SPtool.
6. Select 'Scatter file' on the right hand side of soptool.
7.then select Scatter file from the Official JB Folder.

Hey just follow this:
1) First perform an uninstall of the MMX/Mobistel drivers you already have on*
your P.C. Install the drivers again.*
2) On the PC/Laptop, start SP flash tool and select the right scatter from the factory stock A110 ROM.*un-tick*all except the first five (Preloader, DSP_BL, MBR, EBR1, UBOOT) + CWM recovery (You should have replaced default recovery with CWM recovery in the ROM folder). Click “Firmware-upgrade, Download.
3) With battery taken off from your phone connect it to the PC/Lap using the USB cable.
4) If your battery was having good charge when you were bricked, you can now power on to recovery mode and flash your CWM saved ROM or any other ROM.
5) If your battery was low, when you were bricked, leave it to charge for an hour before attempting to flash the entire stock ROM through SP flash or CWM.

there are 2 methods of installing CWM on ur phone
1. spttools 2. rom manger
the easy n simpleast way is using sptools
1.open sptools>click on scatter load>load the scatter file whick u downloaded in the given link
2.now uncheck all the boxes except recovery.img
3.click on recovery n load the cwm .img from the given link
4.click dwld option n enjoy CWM

i tried this out.. it worked.. even i got the green symbol. but when i am trying to restart my phone, it is not booting .. it just gets a backlight and nothing further,.. please help me out

buddy donot click on firmware/update button...use download button beside firmware/update button....method is same bt try download button instead of upgrade
& yes i'm sure download can make ur device bootable....it works for me every time when i got bootloop or when my device not boot up.

yes.. finally recovered my phone back

i flashed a ROM without efs back up
now what should i do

Bricked my Micromax Unite 2

I bricked my phone while flashing It does not boot or go to cwm recovery mode. It is detected by pc. What to do????

Note there is three version of the OS Android see which version is loaded on your device check it by the sticker behind the battery search for a simialar rom
I flashed with the current here is the http://gaming.netalien.biz/2015/04/bricked-micromax-a106-how-to-unbrick.html hope this would help

Plz help me as my phone is hard bricked! I updated LP through OTA however after upgrade I went to recovery mode as SIM card were not detected! guys I have micromax unite2 a106 phone. I tryd to flash philz in it by mobile uncle tools with the help of a thread on xda.
But now when I reboot into recovery, it only shows logo for sometimes and then blank screen.
I think that philz rec was made fir its kitkat version but now it is lollipop updated.
But my recovery is lost.
How to bring it back.Or gv me CWM for lollipop version....????????

Same issue here

Cache mount issue in recovery mode
After flashing Successfully darkl l custom Rom I am facing the problem. The Rom had been flashed correctly and after that I was trying to flash super. Su zip file by Phil recovery. And then these messages poped up
"E:can't mount /cache/recovery log"
"E:can't open/cache/recovery log "
E. T.C
After that I am stuck at boot logo and can't flash anything. Is there any solution. Plzzzz help.

I bricked my a106. Its detected bys SP flash tool and by my PC. I tried flashing it with stock ROM and SP flash tool showed a green circle. But my phone is not charging not boots. But it's detected by PC and SP flash tool. What to do? Please help!!

I am also bricked it many times .now using cm 13 by temasek no issues.

micromax Unite 2 a106 8 g.b rom

Hello to everyone...
my micromax Unite 2 a106 8 g.b rom is not booting...
1. i rooted my phone using kingroot
2. it was working fine until i installed chainfire3d app
3. now whenever i switch on my phone it just freezes at micromax logo screen
4. whenever i connect my phone to pc using usb it connects and then disconnects and the process repeats continously.
5. by which i am unable to install rom using sp flash tool...
plz help me with this problem...thanks in advance...

what you just need to do is download the stock rom , kitkat or lollipop , install sp toll to your pc , select scatter file from the extracted rom ( file you downloaded before u want to extract it to get the rom and scatter file etc...) , then just click on download and then connect your phone to your pc without battery ...
if that doesn't work try selecting firmware upgrade from the box below download ..
and check the drivers , install vcom universal mtk drivers .
and you're done .
