[Q] Encryption Failure

Hello. So after spending a couple of hours searching for an answer, I couldn't seem to find one that could actually help me. I have a GT-N8013 Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. I have CWM installed, and a 64GB microSD card mounted using the app2SDscript. I did not make a recovery image.
My problem right now happened all of a sudden. My tablet was low and I had forgotten to charge it, so it turned off, but for some reason it just froze at the logo. So, I plugged it into the charger and restarted the tablet. When loading everything was going well, but before I got to my home screen, my tablet just gets stuck after loading. Then an error appears and says that "Encryption failed. Unable to complete encryption due to interruption. Perform factory data reset." The funny thing is that I haven't even attempted to encrypt my tablet at all. So now I'm completely stuck and really just don't know what to do anymore. I can still get into CWM and download mode. Help please.
What I've attempted:
Wipe date/factory reset through CWM - failed
(while attempting to use CWM, I noticed that CWM couldn't load/open/mount anything)
Wipe cache - failed
Tried flashing stock ROM through odin - failed
6 month old tablet. Help please :crying:
i have the same problem, any ideas?

Try another ROM, I suggest Daniel's carbonrom.

Encrypton Failed Error N8000

My friend brought to me his son's Tab 10.1 N8000 16GB with an error on screen as soon as you start it stating "Encryption failed. Unable to complete encryption due to interruption. Perform factory reset (erasing all your data) before use. After resetting, try encrypting device again" .... with only a single button below that is "reset device" ... but when you press it nothing happens.
I tired to boot into recovery but won't let me,... I get the logo for android recovery for 2-3 seconds with nothing else on screen then it reboots by itself to the same "encryption failed" screen..
I tried PC Odin to flash CWM, Philz and TWRP but all to no avail.... Failed to write...
I tried PIT file with repartition... failed to write
I tried choosing erase Nand, Clear EFS .. etc but all comes to the same end... failed to write...
Please help.
Bump
got the same issue yesterday, have you managed to fix it?
Thanks
same problem.
any solution?
i got the same error 2 days ago any help on how to fix it?
The original error circa 2015 is probably due to Nand Write Fail .
Probably due to user deleting EFS and wiping nand .

the same problem...

[Q] Random reboots and apps crashes

Hello.
I'm experiencing random reboots and apps crashes. My phone was rooted a month ago. I tried to wipe partitions, make a factory reset, format partitions, flash stock 1 file and stock 4 files (with pit file inside). Sometimes the phones freezes and I need to restart it, sometimes it's rebooting by himself. When I'm working with it about a minute, apps start crashing.
In Samsung servicedesk said that the phone was rooted and they can't help me.
So, maybe somebody has any idea what to do? Maybe there is some app to log the crashes and I will see the problem?
Thank you.

[HELP]{P5110] encryption unsuccessful

Hi all,
My Galaxy tab 2 10.1 is stuck with "Encryption Unsuccessful" message on regular boot :crying:
I already search and read many forum threads but until now I didn't solve the problem.
short summary of the situation:
- years ago, I start to use successfuly CM11 and CMW 6.0.5
- at a time, I add a user account on my corporate messaging (Exchange) which force to encrypt my device. everything was still working properly.
- Few days ago I start to get sometime the message "Encryption Unsuccessful" which lock the regular boot.
Sometime, I still have the complete boot ... but after few minutes reboot of my device.
I already try many things:
- factory reset
- all possible wipe. when I try to whipe the dalvik cache ... reboot of my device
- I try to install ofther recovery CMW recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.2.7-p5110.img or twrp-2.8.5.0-p5110.tar (through SD card or Odin 3.10.6) but every time I stay with the CMW 6.05 recovery
- I try to flash a stock ROM EON-P5110XXDNB1-20140507164334.zip through Odin but it failed at the system.img flash stage
- I try with another stock ROM BTU-P5110XXDNH2-20140929104701.zip but same result ...
As far as I start to understand from reading some forums ... the issue seems to be arround the internal sdcard partition corrupted
I'm lost
Could anybody help me?
thanks in advance

Sounds like a EMMC Problem.
In some cases it will be enought to update emmc firmware, in some other cases only emmc replacement can fix that issue.
From Datasheet:
5.1.7 End of Life Management
The end of device life time is defined when there is no more available reserved block for bad block management in the device. When the device reaches
to end of its life time, device shall change its state to permanent write protection state. In this case, write operation is not allowed any more but read operation
are still allowed.
But, reliability of the operation can not be guaranteed after end of life

I talked to a user from www.android-hilfe.de who sucessfully fixes faulty Tab2, from his own statistic about 80% of effected tab2 can be repaired updating emmc firmware via ISP (in the past i false thought JTAG instead ISP), the other 20% need a new emmc.
The user is from Austria if it is interesting for you.
Best regards
