Nothing is bugged, its user error, you have to trim the Rom down so that the Rom and gapps can be happy together on your internal memory if you dont then there's not enough space and they start fighting one another and then some of the little files and codes get kicked outta there homes and thats why your having so many bugs

[Q] Problem Flashing ROM to SGH-T839 [Sidekick 4G] ay0teddy Gingerclone v2

I've been trying to flash a ROM [Gingerclone V2] to my Sidekick 4G for a while now - I've ODINed 4 times due to lack of success. My problem seems to be the exact one as this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1406745
but I haven't tried flashing a different ROM yet.
I already have the new binary recovery and .zip on my SD card before I start each time
My latest procedure:
> Using ES File Manager, copy Recovery into system>bin
> Go to ROM Manager; Flash ClockWorkMod (even though it says it's already flashed, I do it just to be safe)
> Install from SD card
> Phone goes to stock recovery screen. I select Reinstall Packages. Screen goes to CWM recovery
> Wipe Data/Factory Reset - gets stuck at formatting sdcard .android_secure
> battery pull
> Start up into stock recovery - choose wipe data, and then select reinstall packages; screen goes to CWM recovery
> Select Wipe Cache Partition
> Check Mounts - Unmount System
Here's where I'm not sure exactly what to do, and there don't seem to be any clear instructions...
> I choose Install from SD card (I don't remember the exact wording); find the zip file; select it
> It starts the install
> When install finishes, in big blue text reboot now comes up at the top of the screen (it's cut off, but I think that's what it says)
> The phone reboots, stuck at the splash screen, vibrating as if a Force Close repeatedly, as reported in the linked thread.
> ODIN
I may have forgotten a step or two. It would be very much appreciated if somebody could tell me I did wrong ^.^
Also: might be a n--b question, but is there such thing as an ODIN file for custom ROMs? Is there anyway I can get ay0teddy's ROM as this type of file and ODIN it directly?

[Q] Aroma installer wont open when i flash eXperiance Lite V2.1 on my xperia u?

I have CWM-Based_Recovery v5.5.0.4 installed on my xperia uand i rooted by xperia phone using Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v30 method. First I do" wipe data factory reset”, then “wipe cache partition” and at last “wipe dalvick cache”.Then i click on install zip on sd card and then choose zip form sd card. Then i select this rom and flash it.Its say opening package etc etc then screen displays opening Aroma installer. Now beyond this nothing happens.Screen just goes black.Aroma installer does'nt launch.I tried many times to flash this Rom but the same thing happens again and again. it says starting aroma launcher and then the screen goes black and randomly vibrates every now i then.So i just remove the battery and go in recovery mode again and restore my xperia u and reboot it...Can anyone please tell me the solution? What should i do to flash this rom on my xperia u?
Read instructions for xperience rom from here

[GUIDE] Simple CM11/KitKat installation for Gfit

My friend asked me and i posted here too, for newbies like me... Cuz of no new information for new people in the forum about cm 11 rom.
Step by step:
1- You need CWM, recommend this new one, seems stable: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2691115
Dowload is here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51462064&postcount=13 (flashable zip file)
How can install CWM? : search the forum pls, ppl explain with details.
2- In CWM settings> Wipe DATA/FACTORY reset > Clean to install a new rom > YES
In CWM settings> Wipe Cache Partition > YES
In CWM settings> Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache> YES
3- Device cleaned for new rom> CM11/KitKat rom is here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2581415
Download is here : http://download.androidarmv6.org/_builds/beni/ (example 29-03-2014 01:58 newest one )
4- Flash and Reboot Device> first reboot will take 5 min.
5- There is Your KitKat. If you want GAPPS (google play etc), latest working gapps download is here http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407579610
Tips :
- Download all files before progress and copy your sd card.
- If you want auto update for cm 11 without reseting your rom, info is here : http://androidarmv6.org/job/cm-ota/
- CM11 has some bugs, but nearly perfect for daily use.
- How to enable developer settings on CM11;
Go to the settings menu, and scroll down to "About phone." Tap it.
Scroll down to the bottom again, where you see "Build number." (Your build number may vary from ours here.)
Tap it seven (7) times. After the third tap, you'll see a playful dialog that says you're four taps away from being a developer. (If only it were that simple, eh?) Keep on tapping, and *poof*, you've got the developer settings back.
PS:
****** I don't take any responsibilities if you have any problem about phone. And don't worry , i have install a lot of rom like these style, has no problem yet on me. Good luck and have fun...
doesnt work for me ... setup wizard gets fc, and then i can only see the statusbar, the rest of screen is black
i used philz recovery, last cm11 and these gapps that you said.
i installed the recovery, then wiped to install a new rom, next installed cm11 and gapps, and then reboot.
what is the way to follow to install cm11 correctly?

No Overclocking Possible Allthough Rooted

No overclocking possible allthough rooted
Hi!
I got an old Xoom and I'm pleased with it. I bit on the slow side. So I thought I would overclock it a bit. I unlocked the boot and rooted it. I flashed the recovery-Tiamat-R4c-100611-1150-cwm.img and everything went ok. I installed a cpu overclocking app and granted access to root.
There is no option to get over the 1mhz. only under. So why cant it be overclocked even though it was rooted? What is missing?
regards
ATA
What's the model of your Xoom? MZ601-MZ604 ?
It is a MZ600.

TWRP RECOVERY: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kqxehhw8ibbtrih/R.A.H._TWRPv2.6.3.zip?dl=0
and TWRP Bigpart: http://d-h.st/nmP
ROM KITKAT 4.4.4: http://www.duckbox.info/android/omni-4.4.2/latest.php/stingray (for 4G/LTE)
or this
http://www.duckbox.info/android/omni-4.4.2/latest.php/stingray_cdma (for 3G)
Google app: http://duckbox.info/android/pa_gapps-modular-mini-4.4.2-20131215-signed.zip
and Superuser: http://download.chainfire.eu/372/SuperSU/
Put this 5 zip folders on your SDcard.
Start your tab in your actual recovery and install R.A.H TWRPv2.6.3
Reboot and after wait 3 seconds when you see the red logo MOTO then push volume up and after volume down for enter in your new recovery TWRP.
1. Install TWRP BigPart but don't reboot.
2. Go into wipe menu and wipe. go into advanced wipe and tick everything (system, data etc....)except sdcard.
3. Go to reboot menu and reboot into recovery. Disregard the "No OS" warning and don't install SuperSU when asked.
4. When you come back into recovery, it will think your data is encrypted but it's not. Go into wipe menu and "format data". Type "yes" when prompted. When done, go back into wipe menu. Select "Advanced Wipe". Check "system" and "cache" and wipe them.
5. Hit Home then go to reboot menu and reboot recovery. Once again, disregard "No OS" warning and don't install SuperSU when asked
6. When you come back into recovery, go into mount menu. You should see "cache" and "data" checked. "System" will be unchecked. Check it to confirm it mounts, then uncheck it. Congratulations! You are now repartitioned!
7. Go into install. Recovery should show your microsd storage by default. If not, using the navigation panel, navigate to root then go into "sdcard". Install the rom OMNI 4.4.4 don't reboot, return to menu install, install the Pa-Gapp modular and finaly the Super SU.
Reboot the tab.
When you are in this rom go to menu "configuration" last menu "about the tab" and touch 10 times the number of version to be a supper devloper.
The menu up is "performance" you can now put maximum frequence to 1.400 or 1.700
I have put it back to stock and locked it, But I'll try the OmniRom. Just to be certain. The recovery.img inside R.A.H._TWRPv2.6.3.zip is the one that I flash with fastboot instead of the tiamat from cwm that I tried earlier, right?
BTW, when I rooted it I followed this guide
djsmobiles.com/2013/01/how-to-root-your-motorola-xoom.html
Is that the correct method when using the R.A.H._TWRPv2.6.3?

1)just try to pass it on as fast as you can.
2)if it stops working don't worry give it some time,a message will appear like
a)com.process.android has stopped...

all you have to do is simply press ok to force close them as this will result in restarting of these processes which in turn provide you a boost to the next page.
3)After you successfully enter your system launcher, please don't forget to enable "skip lockscreen feature" provided in Settings/Additional Settings/Developer Options(unlock it by continous tapping on MIUI version info present in Settings/About Phone)
That's all enjoy and have a happy new year
People who have installed it correctly but unable to skip last stage of MIUI then please factory reset device in recovery and after rebooting, fast skip it like the way in this short video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sc-nlsDAY0U
