Which mobiles does it officially support the new android ics?

Hi i want to know which mobiles/models does or will support the new android ics.
Is there any table or site or anything that it tell for all mobiles and if will support the new ics?
I look a mobile that is cost until 250euro at Greece.
A LOT OF THANKS.
Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus already have ICS.
Newer HTC/Samsung phones should be getting it as well. Just go for Nexus !
A lot of thanks for your reply but i want a table wth ALL mobiles/modes that support ics NOT some of the models that even i know.
And the verification image every time i create a reply can't be removed?
Sony said their entire 2011 line up will get ICS.

I think so.. I really havn't been paying attention, but it seems to be always an update advertised when you buy it, or a CM9 rom from in here, lol.

[Q] where & how to update 2.3.5 to ANY jelly bean

hi everyone
i am new to this and always will be.
I have searched the forums but i lack the attention or technical know how to digest the information. On YouTube there are videos that says "how to update any phone t jelly bean" but they all want you to contract to a prepaid service of some kind
When i had my iPhone i found websites where you just download this APP, double clicked it and it updated everything for you
SOMEONE SOMEWHERE must be able to develop a generic app which will update any phone no what size, configuration or OS is on it ... c'mon techies n geeks ya letting us all down
I am looking for something similar ... pls help me
PLS REPLY to me personally and not on the forum ... there's just too much info and threads and i can't make heads or tails of it
Many many thanks
There's no app that will update it for you sorry
Also what kind of phone do you own?
Depending on your phone there may be options to achieve and upgrade to jellybean via ROMs or possibly ota (depending on your phone)
A good step would to be root first as you'll need it to achieve custom ROMs and recovery options
Like I said first state your phone model etc
So we can help
P.s hit the thanks button!

I didn't want to state my phone as i thought they were APPs out there that can update any phone to jelly bean
but the phone i have is the 5.3" blu studio phone

Got a model number to go with that? Also
I'll look into it for you after work see what I can do for you

You can't update any phone to jellybean, too many devices to create a single solution. You also appear to have a non brand phone which makes the chances of having a jellybean ROM drop down to 4%
And... I doubt a third party app could even update the iPhone... without it being from Apple

Yea I just searched ya phone it is unbranded
So the chances of a jb upgrade will be slim
In your case very slim but rooting will still be possible for you again I'll keep looking after work to try help you but don't get your hopes up for a jb upgrade

The issue is the drivers, BLU is not a popular brand so the likelihood of a developer taking the time on the port is slim. Not to mention VERY time consuming on a device that has BROAD support. Typically devices like HTC, Samsung, Motorola (the ones that aren't Nand Locked) will receive ports fairly quickly, while obscure devices MAY never get them.
Now on with the specs. The BLU Studio 5.3 features a an ARMv6 CPU, clocked at 650MHz, a PowerVR SGX531 GPU, and 512MB of RAM. There is 200MB of built-in memory

You may lack hardware support in all honesty, ICS is optimized for dual core devices, though it does run on the HTC EVO 4G (keep in mind that while this is a single core processor it is also a 1 GHz single core, and pretty powerful for a single core device)...If I were in your shoes I would either,
A) Buy a new phone, one that has more community support, if you want Jelly Bean, or
B) Find a bad a$$ Gingerbread ROM for the phone you have.
If a lot of people would be very interested perhaps they can learn to port JB...there are tutorials for the basic port.
Buying a new phone has always been an option for me but ...
there's not many 5inch+ phones out there that has dual sim options
this 5.3" blu motion phone does everything easy to use, great size and large screen for GPS and not to mention cheap as chips
I don't really care about the other bells n whistles i like a phone with a big screen
if someone gave me the iPhone5 i'd put it on eBay in a heart beat ...
... heavens knows why you would want a small phone ...
if anyone knows where i can get a 5inch+ phone with two or more sim slots and with JELLY BEAN
do let me know

[Q] Do you buy phones for custom ROMs?

How many phones do you have? Do you buy a separate phone to install custom ROMs?
I have only one and for last few months I am playing with custom ROMs. It is great when you give new life to older phone, like mine. Motorola Defy+ with Quarx custom kernel and CM10 4.1.2. Like new phone. :good:
I just have one, but I change my custom romantic weekly. it's fun

Three, all have custom ROMs. Captivate Glide, Samsung Infuse 4g, and my gs2. The gs2 is all I use right now, the others are laying on the desk. Might sell them.
Sent from my SII(i777) SuperNexus 4.1.2 10/17/12 build
I have two...Samsung Infuse and HTC Vivid. As you can see by my signature...i get devices to mess around with and try may hand at developing
(nowhere near a developer yet...but one day )
but i just love android in general...if i could afford it i would get sooooo much more phones lol
Think my signature says it all.
Back from the days of WM it's always been a thought before purchase.
Ignore current device as it's a get thru.
Previous have been s620/Rhodium/Rapael/ZTE Blade/DHD/SGS2/XT910 "there are others"
All of them had been customised and not just via flashing ROMs as back when time was not so valuable my time was taken in Kitchens editing resourses but now minimal I'm happy just to have tether work lol

Custom ROMs are the best
If I could afford multiple devices, I would buy separate phones for ROMs:laugh:

Wow we have shared alot of the same devices
Now to stay on post. I never buy a phone based on custom roms. Why you ask? Well here is the thing. Developers are always looking for the next big thing and change phones often. No promise that there will be custom roms for it. So I set out to get a phone that will suite my needs. Making sure it has an unlocked boot loader is all I need. If I want a custom rom bad enough then I will make it myself.

The phones I've got are Sony Xperia S, SGS2 & SE Xperia X8.
Although I only use the X8 now and again when I'm bored and wanna test on it. Apart from that, it doesn't get used
I definitely don't buy a phone based on the custom ROMs available. The Xperia S kinda proves that because there's not too much available for it really.
When buying a phone, it's gotta have whatever I'm specifically looking for at that time. In regards to ROMs I'm not really too fussed because a good phone with a crap ROM is still much better than a crap phone with a brilliant ROM.
"My badboy megazord whip's got more features than iOS5"
yes, because Arc stock ROM has lot of redundant apk

[Q] How much more can we expect from this phone

Hii
It has been almost 2 years since i purchased this phone G3 i have seen its journey from 2.1 to 4.1.1. and since i can see there is less development going on on this device.i know there are devs who are trying really hard to keep this device alive but I just wanted to ask that how much more can we expect from this device before it gets lost in history
I Think This Device is Immortal. Check out floating touch. Cm10,Cm7 many devs are trying to keep this machine alive Salute to them.

QUESTION about android L

Hello guys!
I wanna ask I see lots of video about android L, but I cant wait!
And do you think is there any option for porting L to our device?

CM ver will probably continue supports One S but no more HTC Sense. HTC said it officially M7 will receive Android L within 90days so indeed we still have chance but only after kernel sources released.
I doubt we still have any devs live in this board at that time, they probably will all move to other newer HTC phones.
There will still be devs looking to port it, guaranteed. All phones have devs that stick around for a long time.

I guess it is not possible, many devs already not owned their One S and been moved to other phones now. I can't believe the rest of devs will still have it next year. Yes, I think there will still have someone who try to port but it will be a never stable release edition and can not using as a daily driver.
