hey guys this tread is for only development of rom for micromax funbook alpha cwm for mmx alpha will not work on any other version of micromax funbook
To root micromax alpha use unlockroot this will root also and unroot also u r tab
no rom till yet working i am trying hard to work but it will take time
Now the main part cwm

extract cwm by alzip or what ever u what it is your choice :laugh:
after download both install novotools place the recovery on the root of internal sd card
open novo tool press flash recovery !!!! done !
thing is that novotools do not show any conformation about successful installation of recovery first u tried by putting it in internal sd card then flash it wait for some time then check it out if it is flash or not. by going in to the cwm menu by power and volume + or may be - first check it by internal then go to other options
AS i am receiving pm from users i think that novotools do not work with the internal sd card so use the external one !

It is based on the Allwinner A13 chip, same as your device. Also what version of CWM is this and is there any bugs or issues that I should be aware of?

it will work on your device the only bug is that there is no back button but the backup will work perfectly and the version of cwm is 6.0.12

This worked on my generic A13 tablet (Yeahpad Pillbox) purchased @ tinydeal. Below are the info I got from running AnTuTU Benchmark.

first of all u r cwm will not go anywhere if u flash any custom rom and by the there haven't any fully stable custom rom for allwinner a13 is available
2 if the touchscreen is not working u can go to cwm by switch off the tab and then by pressing power button and volume up u can go to cwm
guy my first custom rom is ready and it is very well tested i will upload it by tomorrow ......................

I flash with alphadroid and it booting fine. Only one big problem is that touchscreen is not working at all.
I used wired usb mouse (cheap knock off wireless mouse also working great!) and installed novo tool but cannot reboot into recovery because root permission problem. I tried with hardware button to boot into recovery but none work with power+vol.up button nor power+vol.down button. What else can I do? I really LOVE the rom!!!
EDIT: I can get into CWM by going to SETTINGS --> BACKUP & RESET --> Recovery Mode.
I run FIX PERMISSION but when rebooted the root permission denied is still there when I run TBP.

Dude, sorry to post my question here, but I am kinda desperate! My tablet has the exact same specs like yours, but it doesnt recognise the internal SD! So I am looking for a firmware to save the day! Could you tell me how I can find yours? Or could you possibly dump yours and send it to me please?

i have played couple graphic intense games like shadow gun and ashpalt 6 and technical wise it contains a good gpu dual mali 400 so it can support more hd games!

I'm having an error trying to create a backup,
but i get an error on not finding the sd card...

Help with Natpc x210 also known as Kingpad Flytouch 9

Hi There
I'm fairly new to this android stuff but starting to get my head round some of it, I have a Natpc x210 also known as Kingpad Flytouch 9 I have managed to root it but now there are some things I would like to do
First I would like to back up my original firmware and from what I have read I need to use clockwork but I get an error message when I try and install this saying it isn't compatible with my tablet so does anyone know how I can do a backup of my original firmware (rom).
I would also like to edit the build prop to try and cure the incompatibility of some of the game on Google market, would it be possible for someone to tell me what exactly to edit in the build prop, I have heard of people putting there tablets into a loop and almost bricking them so I want to be sure what I'm doing.
And I would also like to know if there are any custom Roms I could try on this tablet.

I came across this post for rooting Rockchip 3066 tablets.
How to Root Teclast A10 Dual-core
The tool is all in Chinese but you don't need to read whats happening anyway. The tablet reboots itself twice. After the first reboot I had to hard reset.
These are the steps.
Install app on Windows (7Pro x64)
turn developer mode on device (Sumvision Cyclone Titan 9.7", Rockchip 3066, Mali400, Android 4.0.4)
plug the device in and wait for the tool to recognize it
click the button next to the only english word on the app 'ROOT'
wait a minute or two and the device reboots
i had to hard reset here
turn on device again
after a minute the tablet rebooted
walla, Rooted rockchip 3066 device.

I have managed to root my tablet (natpc x210) using this method but this is the way had to do it, to get my laptop win xp 32bit to see the tablet i had to install ADB Driver this is a setup file then I attached the laptop put the tablet in usb debug mode, then I started the software and it automatically sees the tablet, then just click root wait for it to finish and that is it rooted,

Thanks for reply and links, did all of that wasn't sure about ABD thing so i used morobo ,now my tablet says it's rooted according to a few apps that check for root but the apps i want eg titanium rb sync wont install any thoughts ?. Thanks again for your help

I have also a RK3168 based tablet, 7", 1GB Ram, 16GB internal, Android 4.2. I've tried many CWM based on Rk3066 and Rk3188 (whish this is more similar to Rk3168) but not look. The closed one (that at least booted into recovery, but with errors that can't mount block devices) was the RK CW Generic from androtab.info.

i have a archos 101 cobalt with 3168 and ive managed to port the 3188 version. try this
1. unpack stock recovery and cwm rk3188 recovery
2. copy stock recovery init file (not init.rc just init) and put on cwm
3. open stock recovery etc\recovery.fstab and copy mount points to cwm etc\recovery.fstab
4. pack cwm recovery and flash(idont know if makes difference but ive flash everything not only recovery)
5. if it doesent work copy stock rk30xxnand_ko* and rk29.ipp* to cwm and try again
the only problem my cwm port has is that i cant find a way to acces internal sdcard but nandroid works fine

I'm badly need some help to revive my (rockchip-rk31sdk-WAWJMDN1KN).
Perhaps someone will give me idea to allocate proper parameter for recovery , kernel , boot , etc...
Usual location for tablet RK3188 Cortex A9 Quad core 1.6 ghz Governor interactive, Kernel 3.0.36+ ,Board hardware RK30Board/ 0000, Android 4.2.2 ;eng.root 20130912.185132 sdk 17, Display 1280x800; dpi;160 size 9.4'
GPU:Mali-400MP, RAM: 2048 Flash:32 gb Build in:16gb actual, wifi, usb, Bluetooth gps= all yes, camer 5MP additional 1.9MP
I decide to go ahead and try some custom rom using RKAndroidTool did not realize that by cleaning IDB I will low level format..
Before doing that I did save few pictures and run log via "android studio" also I backup whole unit via CWM hoping I will always have access to recovery.Unfortunately that not the case.The good think I still have access to RKAndroidTool( the tool is recognizing my device).
I can post link to my CWM backup if may help.
Inside that CWM backup is kernel.bin, system.bin recovery bin all large sizes files (complete CWM of my last working tablet rk3188). Maybe someone be able to advice how to make proper files to revive my system from that backup I have or help me some how to get recovery working so I can use my CWM backup or any other way to make this tab back to life again..

RK3188 adb is running no screen__help PLEASE
After erasing IDB in my unknown china tablet and loosing my whole system I was able to load different custom firmware from Chuwi v88 + different kernel and my Tab popup in windows showing 2 extra drives F and G.I did open android studio and notice access to adb and all activity in my android.The RKandroidTool also recognizing my tab.
No reaction to power button only automatically connecting to my comp ( black screen on my tab).
I have original CWM backup of my device.
Can someone advise me how to access recovery from this point or find the way to completely start my tablet.Maybe is possible to recover CWM from adb?I will need some help to use a proper commands perhaps in adb.

I think so. This because computer's system resources are too low where it doesn't matter whether Android should get run via emulator or via dual boot.

This SoC features a Quad-Core Cortex-A7 ARM CPU, and a Mali400 MP2 GPU from ARM. That's good.
The problem in your case is the little available RAM.

Find a Custom Recovery suitable to tablet, if found find a Custom Android 6 ROM suitable to tablet. If both found, flash the Custom Recovery and if successful flash the Custom Android 6 ROM via Custom Recovery.
