How to Properly Unbrick Micromax Funbook Pro (P500) - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hello guys first all of all just for the info Allwinner A10 tablet cant be hard bricked as it can boot from usb ! You can always flash a livesuit.img and restore your tab back! We dont have the original liveusit.img of the tab but i manage to get back on stock with few steps and this method is confirmed and tested!!
Requirements -
ADB Drivers ( ADB_Drivers - Download - 4shared )
USB Mouse
Patience
Note : If you have CWM installed on your tab you can simply Restore from your restored backup if you dont have one here it is -
2012-09-25.11.49.26 - Download - 4shared
BUT IF IT DIDN'T BOOTS TO CWM THEN FOLLOW THIS TUTORIAL -
Step 1 : - Download the software called Livesuit you can easily google it and find it but anywayz here it is!
LiveSuitPack_v1.07.zip
Step 2 : - Download this image http://www.yarvik.com/userfiles/yarvikfirmware/TAB461EUK_A404.img
Step 3 : - Extract Livesuit software and open Livesuit.exe -- > Whataver pop-ups come just click no! -- > Click on select image and browse to the downloaded TAB461 .img and leave the software as it is
Step 4 : - Now connect your tablet ( make sure it is turned off not in recovery or something , you can do this by holding power button for long ) to the pc/laptop by holding back button! as soon as you attach usb , while holding back button press 'power' button 10 times repeatedly!
Wait and a pop up will come Click 'YES' 2 times it will take 2 mins to flash the image and u will soon boot up!
Step 5 :- Touch wont work on this image! So connect your usb mouse with OTG cable !
Step 6 :- Download ES File Explorer then open it then press the three dots on bottom then go to settings then root settings and then check all check boxes then go back to main screen of es file explorer then hit back two times then long press the dev folder, set properties, check all boxes, click ok. Do the same for the data folder, now open the dev folder, and repeat the steps for the block folder, and inside the block folder do the steps for nandg file.
Step 7 :- Now install CWM as described in this tutorial - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2088876&highlight=cwm+on+funbook+pro
Now download this backup - 2012-09-25.11.49.26 - Download - 4shared ! Now extract the folder in it then put it in externalsd/clockworkmod/backup !
Step 8 :- Now boot to CWM Recovery using Novotools app ! Touch doesn't work on cwm so u will have to use volume keys for navigating and power button for selecting options. Now go to backup and restore option then choose restore then choose 2012-09-25.11.49.26 then choose yes ! When it is done hit reboot system now ! Now you will have touch and CWM Working ! Now you can Install Any ROM on your Funbook Pro.
IF Touch is not working then do this -

password = [email protected]
then go to p500 folder then V1_270712 then download the sun4i_crane_M1005_P500.20120727.rar file !
Now flash this .img using livesuit as described above !

Thanks to this post i was able to unbrick, however there are a few steps that i would like to add to make it more clear.
at Step 4: After pressing the power button ten times, you will see that a pop up comes tellinga new hardware found and will ask to locate the drivers, now click continue to automatically update the driver. it will fail and then an option to browse and locate the driver will pop up. Now browse to the folder where you extracted live suit pack and choose the USB driver folder to install the driver. Next it will come up with two pop ups press Yes both the times
Step 6 Download ES File Explorer then open it then press the three dots on bottom then go to settings then root settings and then check all check boxes then go back to main screen of es file explorer
Step 7 is the same
Whilst putting the backup file on the tab create a clockworkmod folder in the root of the tab create another folder called backup and extract the backup file downloaded onto it.

It worked
All the steps work perfectly..I was able to unbrick the device with touch using first Livewire image .. Thanks a ton developer..

Hi,
First of all Thanks alot. With these steps, I was unable to unbrick my tab.
But I have tried to do CWM backup recovery alot. It shows md5 Mismatch everytime. I tried fixing md5 mismatch by different ways availalbe, but none of them works.
Also the FTP link that you have given... it doesnt log you in with the ID and password provided.
Any suggestions on how to make the touch work?
Thanks and regards,
Lalit

It looks like there is an issue with CMW installation. Follow rooting and other steps all over. Restoring backup of 26 should be good enough

INSTALLING CWM on ZOPO ZP900 LEADER

This method successfully installs the CWM on the phone. CWM version supplied by ZOPO does not work. Use the CWM posted in the second link
I am a still learning and not a developer !
Hi All ZOPO ZP900 Leader Owners,
This is a guide for Installing Clock Work Mod Recovery Image on ZOPO ZP900 Leader Phone. Most of the owners of this fantastic phone would have desperately tried like me to install CWM on this phone (some may have found success). ZOPO does gives an option to order the phone pre-rooted however they do not install CWM ....or for that matter there is no Stock Recovery on the phone !!!. Start the phone with Power + Volume Up button pressed and your presented with an image of sick Android lying down with a Red triangle coming out of his opened stomach
DONT TRY TO USE ROM MANAGER APP TO INSTALL CWM, THIS WILL ONLY BRICK YOUR PHONE !
So after breaking my head for couple of days, searching the net, downloading stuff I have successfully installed CWM !
So here are the steps !.
What you need
1. ZOPO ZP900 Leader phone
2. Download Fully working English CWM from here http://www.4shared.com/file/16vuWyiU/recovery.html. The one posted in Zopo website does not work.
3. Download latest SP Flash Tool for MTK6577 from here http://www.4shared.com/zip/Xgc3G_hB/SP_Flash_Tool_v3122200.html
4. Download the latest Stock ICS ROM for ZP900 from Zopo website link http://www.4shared.com/rar/hGY2ahbu/MP_MT77_root_en_play_fix_zp900.html
5. Download MTK6577 Driver from Zopo website http://www.4shared.com/zip/YXlLFoLm/6577driver_install_3_steps.html
Installation Steps
1. Unzip and Install the USB drivers on your Windows PC using the MTK 6577 Driver Zip file. There will be 3 folders named First Step, Second Step & Third Step. Open First Step install the MTK driver MSI file. Post completion open Second Step, click on ClickInstall Driver, it will automatically install the USB driver. Press Exit after installation (Win 7 may give error that installation was incorrect, just ignore)
Repeat the same for folder Third Step
Connect your phone switched off and battery removed using USB cable. Windows will recognize and install the MTK drivers for your phone (any free COM ports) will be configured. Disconnect the phone. Put the battery back but do not switch on the phone
2.Extract the latest ROM folder from downloaded ICS ROM. You will get 2 folders
database
MP_MT77_h958_zp900_zwx_ics_20120912-155136_TSZ_PC
Open the second folder (MP_MT77***). This is the folder that has all the image files. You will find recovery.img file. This is original file. You can either rename it or keep a back up and delete it.
3. Copy the new CWM recovery.img file that you downloaded from ZOPO website in this folder. Rename it to be recovery.img
4. Extract and run SP flash Tool.exe (the one with Blue image icon)
5.Click on Options, USB Mode will be checked, DA Download All will be checked, in the sub options Speed will be Checked High Speed, Battery select With Battery. Come to the main Application window
6. Click on Scatter-loading button which is on the right side below Downloading Agent. A window will open. Browse to your extracted ICS ROM folder, click on folder MP_MT77****. By default you will have only one map file of name MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc. Select this
7. The flash tool will populate the Map file on the application window. You will see multiple Entries such as
PRELOADER
DSP_BL
MBR
etc etc. Each will have a check box which is by default checked.
8. UNCHECK all entries EXCEPT FOR "RECOVERY". Leave Recovery checked.
9. Now click on "Download" on the Application or press F9 on keyboard. A warning message will pop up. Press YES
10. You will see in the status bar below "Searching"
11. Connect your phone (switched off and with battery inserted) via the USB cable.
12. Flash tool will do its stuff. First a red progress bar, then a count down, a quick yellow progress bar and final window showing Green Circle.
If you get this the Congrats You have flashed CWM !
Check by unplugging the phone and re-starting it with Power+Volume Up button Pressed. The Phone will boot into CWM !.
Enjoy !
Warning - Please follow the instructions. Don't mess around with anything else. Not responsible if you do anything else and brick your device !
In case you get any other error on SP Flash Tool, then recheck your MTK driver installation. Try on another PC.
Now I hope this opens the door for many other things !
Additional Info -
Install PDAnet from here http://www.junefabrics.com/android/download.php or Snappea from www.snappea.com to make your device get recognized when connected to the computer. Install this with your phone switched on, this software installs the necessary drivers for the phone, post which you can use flash tool.

link for 9300+ CWM http://d01.megashares.com/dl/KicT315...M_Recovery.rar
UPDATE - Finally got a full working English CWM for ZOPO extracted from Mod ROM posted thanks to Kyrie1965. Tested and everything is working. Download from here http://www.4shared.com/file/16vuWyiU/recovery.html

CWM as such works (able to navigate through the menus etc) but some of the function such as Install from ZIP, Backup etc, mount are not working, Gives an error Unable to Mount Sdcard !. Not sure if the issue is with CWM version supplied by ZOPO, need to try with other/older versions of CWM.
Please feel free to post links of CWM that works

Check your device drivers USB driver has not been installed properly. I faced this issue and after multiple attempts of reinstall of USB drivers the flash tool started working properly
Also you can try installing PDAnet from here http://www.junefabrics.com/android/download.php
Install this with your phone switched on, this software installs the necessary drivers for the phone, post which you can use flash tool.
Note Connect the phone to flash tool first without battery, in options select with battery, press download after selecting the required file, when it says searching unplug the phone put battery back, dont switch on, plus back the usb. The flash tool should load the required file.

It will flash the entire ROM again. My guide was specifically for flashing only the CWM and not the entire ROM. I wanted to keep the Stock rom intact as it came from ZOPO.
Word of caution, I am yet top try flashing the complete ROM so if you are trying ensure that your have taken a backup via CWM (if already flashed) of your existing full working ROM before attempting anything. Also flash only ZOPO Stock or customised ROMs,
From where did you bought this mobile?
Does the imei start from 355,889,3535
Is it ips 1gb ram .

Hello bhargav1991, i got some questions:
1. I've buy zp900 but it will arrive next week. In the video you posted there is a guide how to flash the official Zopo z900 latest stock ROM but in this way you get the latest rom + root but no ClockWorkMod Recovery installed ?¿¿
2. My intention as i done with my old..HTC Desire HD is flashing ClockWorkMod Recovery and install the latest Zp 900 stock ROM + ROOT. So following the 1st post and once all steps are done one by one, will I get the same rom that come installed ?¿ but non root ?¿
I need to download the latest ZOPO ROM .zip and then install it from ClockWorkMod and finally i will get the latest ROM + ROOT ¿?
Could you please help me
Thank you so much in advance guys ¡¡

[ROOT + CWM 6.0.1.5 or 5.5.0.4] Lenovo IdeaPad A2107A (-H)

The following post is just a TESTED collection of tools and procedures that were found over at XDA forum or elsewhere on the Internet.
I do not take any credit for all those nice scripts and manuals - I just put them together for the young community of IdeaPad A2107A owners.
Below you will find methods of getting root and Clockwork Mod Recovery v 6.0.1.5 on IdeaPad A2107A (I own the -H version with dual SIM and ca. 4 GB of internal memory).
All processes were tested by me and are working well but obviously you are responsible for your actions.
My device runs on ICS 4.0.3, compilation A2107A-H_S341 and has a couple of European languages (tablet bought in Poland).
What you need is installed ADB drivers so the PC can "talk" to you tablet. You will find a lot of guides on the net - just make sure Windows device manager shows Android Device - Android ADB Interface or something close to that.
I also advise to enable USB debugging and allow installing applications from unknown sources - all in your tablet's settings.
Once you make sure you have done the above you're good to go.
So let's go!
Download this: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?5o7dm16d430lwal (un7zip) and read as follows:
1 - Root
The method I chose is for patient people - the device will reboot 3 times during this process.
a) connect your tablet to the PC, open "1 - 4.03root" folder and run "root.bat"
b) just after you run the .bat the device will reboot and in the command prompt you will see "Press any key to continue . . ." - WAIT until the tablet boots up completely. When you see the lockcreen THEN hit a key in the command prompt.
c) the above will happen 2 more times - always WAIT for the tablet to boot completely.
This process will install Superuser and RootExplorer so find those apps and see if the root works.
2 - Backup the whole ROM that is on your device - will be useful with making the CWM recovery.img file.
For this you will need ca. 2GB of memory so I advise at least 4GB sdcard.
I also advise to go to the settings and in the memory tab set the "Default write disk" to "SD storage" - this makes the microSD the primary "sdcard" - makes things easier with backups etc.
ALSO in the settings set the screen to stay on for at least 10 minutes - this is how long it will take to do the full ROM dump - important to keep the script alive.
To avoid any issues turn the flight mode on so no new "data" is received by the device.
Once you're done open "2 - Backup" folder from my 7zip and copy the "gscript" folder to the root of your sdcard. Now install "GScriptLite.apk" and run it (needs root access!).
In the app hit the menu button and pick "Add Script" ->"Need SU?" must be checked -> "Load file" -> select "back_mt6575_a4_v2c.sh" -> save and click the script.
As I said - wait ca 10 minutes for the scrip to finish. Now you will have a nice backup in the SD - look for "backup_v2" folder - copy it to your PC.
3 -Mobileuncle - it's in the Google Play Store but you won't find it with our tablet - supposedly incompatible. Bull*hit!
Open "3 - Mobileuncle" folder, copy the apk to your device and install. We will come back to this later.
4 - How about the CWM? Yes!
Open "4 - CWM 6015" - you will find a PDF there - read the instructions. The subfolder "michfood" contanis all the scripts you need so you don't have to download anything else.
ATTENTION - the "recovery.img" used in this process is YOUR "recovery.img" that you dumped in step 2. So find your backup from step 2 and the original "recovery.img" from your ROM.
ATTENTION - our device is MT6575 so you pick nr 1 in the command prompt.
5 - Once you have the new "recovery.img" with CWM (it is actually smaller than the original file) copy it to the root of your sdcard.
Now open the Mobileuncle Tools you installed in step 3 and hit "Recovery Update".
There, at the very top of the screen you will see your new CWM recovery file - hit it and then confirm the update. It takes a second!
Now you will be asked to boot into recovery mode - go ahead, try it
If the tablet booted in CWM then you are all set!
REMEMBER - to go into the recovery mode while the device is OFF you need to:
1 - hold the power button for ca 3 seconds
2 - let it go and in the same moment press BOTH Vol + and Vol - buttons.
REMEMBER 2 - the CWM 6.0.1.5 makes backups in a bit different way than the old CWM - read here :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846446
It also appears that the key to modding our tablet is the MT6575 processor - a lot of tools just need to support this processor, the device itself is not so important.
All the best.
Mike.

------------------------------------------------- UPDATE 1 ---------------------------------------------------------
For those who are running the same compilation as I am (A2107A-H_S341):
- you can download my recovery file from here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?um372gh6ayf6t6w
To use it you need to do:
1 - Root
(optional backup with GScriptLite.apk)
2 - flash the recovery file with Mobileuncle
Be careful and make sure you have a backup if you want to try this file with another compilation.
Cheers.
------------------------------------------------- UPDATE 2 ---------------------------------------------------------
Tested (by user: manwithmanypiercings) USB drivers are in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34651039&postcount=51
------------------------------------------------- UPDATE 3 ---------------------------------------------------------
I think there is even easier way than the one I originally posted above.
BUT I cannot be sure that it will work with all of you - the reason is that I made so many changes to my A2107A-H that I do not know whether this method works "just because it's universal" or because my tablet was tweaked far enough.
On the other hand when you consider it reasonably it looks like it's quite simple and there is no particular reason why it shouldn't work with a stock A2107A.
So...
What you need:
1 - this package: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?fbuzi5xjofs7vgf
2 - PC running Windows 7 would be the best (7 gave me no problems at all - takes 1 minute to do it). I made it on Windows 8 as well but there is a lot more fuss to install the proper driver.
What you do:
1 - turn on USB Debugging on your tablet
2 - connect the tablet to your PC (if it's the 1st, some default drivers will install - that's ok)
3 - tap on the notifications area in the "Connect as" change to "MTP" - this is quite important !
4 - from the downloaded package run the "Flash_tool.exe"
- click "Scatter-loading" on the right and find "MT6575_Android_scatter_emmc.txt"
- in the list in the lower part of the window you MUST have the "PRELOADER" (super important) and "RECOVERY" ticked and leading to the correct files. The PRELOADER = "preloader_lenovo75_a2_ics.bin" (in the package) and the RECOVERY is the recovery file of your choice -> there are 3 in the package - pick the one you want. You can flash them over and over so if you don't like one then try the other.
5 - click "Download" above - you will see a prompt saying that not all images were loaded - that is fine - we only want to flash the RECOVERY - so click "Yes"
6 - now the Flash tool is waiting for the tablet - press "reset" on the back - Windows will recognize a new device (and WILL NOT find the driver unless you have done it before) - no worries, you have the correct driver.
7 - open Windows "Device manager" and locate the MT65..... unrecognised device -> update / install driver -> point Windows to "USB VCOM Driver" folder from the package and pick your system. My Windows 7 found the driver on the spot but asked to confirm the install - "insecure" driver - I obviously clicked "install anyway" and so should you.
8 - once the driver is loaded the Flash tool will flash the new recovery file - you will see some colour progress bars in the program - at the end you should see a green circle.
That is it. Unplug the tablet, press reset on the back and you can now enter the recovery mode.
FUN FACT: the "reset" button on the back is not really a reset button, it's more like physical cut off button to temporarily disconnect the battery.
I have the Lenovo A2107A under Vodafone's brand Vodafone Smart Tab II 7
It has Android version 4.0.4 and compilation: A2107A_A404_010_002_120913_VODA
Imanaged to root it and install CWM using this thread. But somehow I was not able to create the CWM modded recovery.img
I used the one provided here and it worked fine.
Thanks for this.
I can't connect tablet to PC

The following post is just a TESTED collection of tools and procedures that were found over at XDA forum or elsewhere on the Internet.
I do not take any credit for all those nice scripts and manuals - I just put them together for the young community of IdeaPad A2107A owners.
Below you will find methods of getting root and Clockwork Mod Recovery v 6.0.1.5 on IdeaPad A2107A (I own the -H version with dual SIM and ca. 4 GB of internal memory).
All processes were tested by me and are working well but obviously you are responsible for you actions.
My device runs on ICS 4.0.3, compilation A2107A-H_S341 and has a couple of European languages (tablet bought in Poland).
What you need is installed ADB drivers so the PC can "talk" to you tablet. You will find a lot of guides on the net - just make sure Window device manager shows Android Device - Android ADB Interface or something close to that.

Hi there,
Try those drivers: http://www.mediafire.com/?vx2hyv7dpwlmeyy
They come from the current Android SDK but I am running a 64 bit system and I'm not sure if those drivers will work with 32 bit systems.
Fingers crossed!
I tried with yor recommend dirvers and with a lot of others and doesn't work. I have to unrecognised denices in Device Manager - A2107A-H and MTP.
I am very upset about Lenovo because their support doesn't exist.

First of all, a ton of thanx to csns for posting this detailed procedure along with all required scripts and tools...
I have just one question...Which Modified ROM did you install as I see you have unlocked calling feature in the video you posted???
I asked because the MOD ROM by pemergency in the other thread is for the 16 GB and creates some issues in the device...But your's is 4 GB, as is mine...
Thanx in advance

I'm glad you find my post useful.
As for the calling feature - it's not actually working
You see, to have the calling app (in other words "the phone" app) in the app drawer all you need to do is change one tiny value in framework-res.apk.
This value is telling the system weather the whole device is supposed to handle voice calls or not. I just tricked the system to make the Phone.apk visible but there is a lot more do be done in order to make a real call over the cellular network.
I've just had this tablet for a week and I didn't have much time to dig into this topic. Let's see what the weekend brings
Be patient, I think it's just a matter of time when someone posts a user friendly guide... Or search yourself and share what you find with the community.
Take care.

Sorry to bother you but when I try drag and drop my original "recovery.img" to "cwmr 6015.bat" in the "michfood" folder, I get a warning message "System cannot find the specified file "C:\users\....\recovery.img" "recovery" and the bat script exits...I have tried the following:-
1. Copy the folder and file "michfood" and my original "recovery.img" file in all possible alternate locations of my PC including desktop as shown in the pdf tutorial in "michfood" folder.
2. The permissions for both folders is "Full Control" for all users.
3. Files not hdden or protected.
4. Also turned off my antivirus and firewall.
No luck....Please help !!! Thanx in advance

Well, this happened to me once and I think the reason was that the path was too long - I guess it may have something to do with the fact that the .bat is a simple "program" and can have some problems with handling long paths.. specially with "national" character in them.
Try finding a location as close to the root of the drive as possible, and make sure you have full R/W access. Or try with a pendrive for example.
Since you made a backup of your ROM I think you are quite safe with using the recovery I uploaded - first post -> UPDATE 1.
They seem to fit all 2107A devices. If not I will tell you how to restore the original recovery from your backup.
You can also read UPDATE 3 I just made - your choice.

Hello csns,
Thanx to your help, I have also got CWM recovery working on my device.
BTW I saw these two posts on a forum in Russian (I guess)...I used google translate and am pretty sure these two posts that I provide links for below have two modified ROMs with everything working, including phone and radio !!! The only draw back is that once you flash these ROMs you'll get Russian language, which can be changed to English from the language menu
I plan to fo it myself as well tomorrow, would let you know the outcome

and

and of course you can also try the "Angeleas_Final" modified ROM also that I'll upload and provide links to tomorrow
Thanx again for all your help !!!
I also had many trouble getting the cwm bat file to work. It is very picky about its path and arguments on Win7.
I moved the michfood folder to C: and moved my own recovery.img to C:\michfood\recovery.old
cd C:\michfood
cwmr\ 6015.bat recovery.old
That worked - otherwise it wouldnt finish the cpio stuff.
Reworking that horrible script to work on linux would have probably taken less time -_-
Anyway - thanks!
Permissions problems on Windows7

My solution:
It was required to use a directory not to deep in folder structures, so the best is as short as possible like "C:\michfood".
I had to add "Full Control" permissions for "everyone" to the "michfood"-directory and enable the "replicate permissions to subfolders"-option (I don't know the exact designation because I use it in german ... )
I had to delete an existing "Recovery" folder inside the "michfood"-directory from earlier attempts to create the new file and for this I had to take over the ownership of the "Recovery" folder before I was able to delete it.
The original Recovery.img must be in a different folder than "michfood". This can be on the desktop but for a shorter path it could be in the root directory.
I had success after copying "cwmr 6015.bat" to "go.bat" (it's shorter and does not contain any space in it) and calling it from command line from its directory( C:\>cd C:\michfood ) with: "go C:\Recovery.img" ( I had Recovery.img on C:\ ).

I bought the phone a month back and spent 3 weeks trying to root this MTK6575 Chipset.
You can only root this phone through test point from PMT method. Google test point and pmt for more information.
Attached a pic showing a test point cable . people having knowledge of modding 360 will know what a pmt is. its pogo mo thoin. but for phone its bit different.
first of all turn your phone on and connect it to mtkdroidtools and then make scatter of it. and save it for future use . picture attach. clik blocks map and then click create scatter.
its better to go into stock recovery and wipe data reset and wipe cache. take your sim cards out and your memory card. you dont need them.

now click read back plug in the usb cable with no battery in and just touch the needle with the test point in pic. it will start reading back. once it completes it will give you green circle.
now go to mtkdroidtools and open mtkdroidtools.exe turn on your phone normally and let the tools detect the phone. once it detects you will see different information on main screen. now goto second tab (root, backup, recovery) and click " to process file ROM_ from flash tool" at this point locate the file rom_1 you just saved in rom folder of extracted mtk droid tools. once you give it the location it will start processing. it will ask you if you want it to automatically make cwm ? click yes once the process gets complete you will have multiple files in
\MTK Droid Tools\MtkDroidTools\backups\A2_121030_ForFlashtoolFromReadBack_130415-104113
your folder name will be different depending on date and time.
inside the folder you will have lots of files. the file you need to flash will be A2_121030__recovery_130415-104113 again the numbers at the end of the file depends on your date and time.
now again open spflash tools on the main screen select scatter loading. locate this folder.
\MTK Droid Tools\MtkDroidTools\backups\A2_121030_ForFlashtoolFromReadBack_130415-104113
open the scatter and uncheck all boxes . check only one box that says recovery. double click on and find this file.
A2_121030__recovery_130415-104113
its in \MTK Droid Tools\MtkDroidTools\backups\A2_121030_ForFlashtoolFromReadBack_130415-104113
now click download ignore the warning take the battery out insert the usb cable and make sure to touch the test point after u click download . note that from this method ur phone is in bootrom mode. if everything is successfull youll get a green circle.
you might get errors and for that your scatter must be edited for example adding __NODL_ before CACHE in scatter. if that doesnt work then you might have to add __NODL_ before USRDATA and if still ur gettin error well then email me.
now to test recovery press both vol+ and vol- button at the same time and hit power . go into recovery by pressing vol+. and you have cwm on your phone. now the first and most important thing take backup and save it,
its also better to stay into recovery and open mtk droid tools and make bakcup by going into second tab.
after that put Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed on ur sd to flash through cwm
now flash superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed through cwm
turn on your phone and see if you have superuser on ur home screen
open super user and grant permission and voila your rooted go to info tab and check for updates
thats it your phones rooted.
if i helped you then press thank
in the attachment you can see the cable i made. make yours the same way
UPDATE: SPFT and MTKDROIDTOOLS update versions have been put in dropbox.
again if you encounter pmt layout changed or other errors then email me so i can help you gettin rid of errors with editing the scatter. [email protected]

simply root it with Vroot
This method is very complicated just simple root it with voot 1.7.2 sofware , you just all those drivers witch come with Q mobile software. Juts simple put mobile in dubugging mode , once sofware detected your mobile just simply press the Root button , your wmobile will restart once and its finally rooted . No need for all this stuff. I rooted my friend's A2 Classic with that method , if you want some screenshots i can provide that to.
Easy Rooting Method.
- I am not responsible for bricked phones
-and i am also not responsible if someone hit a bricked phone in your head
-don't worry your data remain safe :laugh:
Method:
first and first download the software from attached files below the post :good::good::good:
1) Install all the drivers (as the original post suggested ADB and VCOM )
2) turn USB debugging on.
3) Install the software , its in chinese but not very difficult to understand Just press the middle button once installed it should be looked like this (check the attachment )
4) press the button , let the software do its things, once your cell phone restart check the SU app in the drawer.
Caution: Do not Factory restore your phone after freezing apps or modification you will end up in a boot loop.
So what you do with this little Rooted device ?? duh off course make ext 4 partition on your SD Card and link your newly download aps using link2SD . no worrying of low space
