Battery Widget, Virtual Companion & Construction Game!
Send Bou Home.
All you need to do is use your phone as you do it every day.
While your phone discharges or changes temperature you gain points necessary for Bou’s mission competition.
The same happens when you recharge your phone.
To earn such system-generated-points you simply need to place Bou's widget on the screen.
Of course there are other ways to gain points but you will not know unless you join Bou’s enterprise.
No matter what you do - your battery level changes. Use it in Bou game!
The story.
Once upon a time, a cheerful, little creature from the outer space named Bou crashed his tiny spaceship into the planet Earth.
Although he miraculously survived the crash and made friends with the inhabitants of our planet, his good little heart is broken.
He is depressed and misses his family and friends from a peaceful planet called Bou-wonder-Land.
However, in ever misery there is always a glimmer of hope!

I kinda like it , I'm concerned about the impact on the battery though.
When I was testing it last time, in system stats I had 2-4% of battery usage (on moderate usage).
Looks like SendBouHome takes 2% more than normal battery widget (few mini games and shop visits).
Of course when you will be able to play more games it can change...
But then you will receive more points from the bacground service
So you always Win!
In short words, after own tests: the impact on battery is minimal

My stats after about 24h of usage:
Phone: Samsung Galaxy 2
24h: 129P 659T
Phone was charged during night from about 20% to full.
After few games and events I was able to buy quite few cheap things.
And of course inedible food - nice joke! I have lost few points on such purchase! grr

It shows that my calculations were quite close to it.
But your score seems to be above everage - of course it is score without games and events . Only System Points get into this statistics
With few games and some events you can double it during day.
I think that I should describe a game a little bit more.
The point is that it is monitoring the usage of phone: power and temp.
Service is in background, running when you have Bou's widget on the screen - JUST LIKE NORMAL BATTERY WIDGET.
Every change is added to your account.
Just use the level of battery you have lost to buy things in Bou's Rocket Store.
Play games to earn more points.
UPGRADE items by using GEMS, share it... and have fun

I was inspired by the Mario live wallpaper on these forums to make something similar using the Doom sprites. I released it as a beta last week and have been constantly updating it as often as I can.
Features:
- Tapping the screen will drop a random powerup after a 5 second countdown (can be disabled in options)
- Powerups are: Medikit, Armor, Shotgun, Chaingun, Rocket Launcher, Plasma Rifle, BFG 9000
- Dragging and dropping one of your homescreen icons will spawn a random demon for the doomguy to fight (can be disabled in options)
- Enemies spawn in pre-programmed waves starting off with a small number of easy enemies and building up to large numbers of tougher demons
- Waves can be completely randomized in the options
- Maximum monsters in the random waves is adjustable from 1-25 (setting to 1 means always single monster in each wave, setting to 25 means random number of monsters between 1 and 25 will spawn)
- Adjustable animation speed and sprite size
- Statistics screen in the settings that shows number of kills, number of deaths and number of powerups collected by the doomguy
- 4 different image backgrounds will cycle. Options allow to choose your favourite and not show the others, or disable backgrounds completely which can improve performance and reduce battery drain.
- Create a sequence of custom backgrounds from images in your gallery.

The response has been very positive so far, it was even mentioned on the xda-developers blog, pocketnow.com and engadget.
It's free, but does contain an admob ad in the settings (same as mario live wallpaper). - This is why it requires internet permission.

Yeah I've been thinking about adding a sort of game mode where you have more control over his movements and you can see his health + ammo. But I don't have much time to spend developing it at the moment.
I'm currently working on improving the AI so the monsters can fight each other like they do in the original Doom.

I'm thinking of perhaps getting rid of the Facebook integration, anyone have any objections against that?
I think it's a nice addition, but it appears as most users simply doesn't use it.
I've also noticed that quite a few players have cleared more than 20 levels, while
some stops at level one with zero in score, I'm just wondering if the initial Facebook popup is to blame for that?
There's not too many players who have stopped playing before level 10, which should indicate that the game is at least somewhat addictive, or is it really?
Perhaps it was not a smart move to have the Facebook checkbox checked by default?

Checking the database I saw that the number of people quiting the game before having any points (perhaps due to a fc or maybe out of boredom?) lessen. But still, 1 out of 4 shows as not getting any points or reaching even level 2 which is incredibly simple.
Right, I'll leave it at that and go work on my platform game instead.
No crashes for me. Had one forced close once when my battery was about to run out of juice.

FYI! Using the emulator and adjusting the max heap size to only 16 Mb I could reproduce the problem with FC's. It turned out not to be a memory leak after all, my game actually did use up to much resources. doh!

I tried out your game today and it is really good development I like the theme mostly, but the fact is that the game didn;t contain any sound at all or non came out ( test device Gnex 4.3)
A couple of additional suggestion (low priority) If I may:
- Add a button to play faster ( like to speed things up to see the result), instead of waiting for the result after you draw the lines
- The button in the gameplay pause menu are really small, and you might want to center the skip button in the middle of the circle, on my screen it appears a bit to the bottom, and not vertically aligned with the Restart button.
- Maybe hide the settings button (appearing on the navigation buttons) as it is not being used.
But in all it is an excellent dev, didn't encounter any bug or crashes.

I spent about €130.- on apps over the last 2 years and donated to several devs on xda but I never bought anything "in app". I will never, ever, ever spend a single cent on coins in a game.
That being said: if you want to make money with this game (and it looks as if you do), I think you have to change your strategy. I played nine levels and have earned 900 coins. I played fast and with few, short lines. The cheapest item in the shop costs 500, most of them cost 1000 or 2000. The smallest amount of coins that I can buy in app is 10000!I Attention, dumbass math: I have to play 100 levels to earn the smallest amount of buyable coins! It looks like that no matter how good I play, if I want to buy stuff, I have to buy coins first. I guess that successful games with in app purchases are successful because, if you want to, you can just play them without buying anything, while in your games it seems inevitable that I will have to buy coins to continue sooner or later.
I like the idea of the game, I enjoyed playing it. I think not many people will like it because it's kind of hard and I don't think you will sell a lot of coins to the people who like it but I wish you the best of luck! I'll uninstall it now.

I think it very difficult to earned 900 coins from 9 levels... Because You can earn 1500-1900 coins from each level and even more on some levels. For example, If You set 1 barrier near start on first level and use accelerate, You earn 1500 coins. Or You set only 45 degree barriers and not use skills?
Yes, we of course want make money, but we make levels that user can pass for free. And rewards can allow to buy some skills to simplicity levels.
P.S. If You can say how You pass levels we will analyze that situation.

Fun game so far, the only complaint I have is that I can tap my screen faster then the game seems to be able to recognize that its doing it...I know its not a limitation of the phone since I've played similar games. Is there a limit on how fast you can tap or is that something that needs to be adjusted?

As you found out there are no limitations. The only limitation you can occur is the lag between taps since the game is doing heavy math in the background but I think that won't be a problem for nowadays mobile phones. Thank you for commenting, enjoy your game!

Thanks for your feedback. As I am testing further I have encountered the same problems, I just fixed them and an updated .apk is awaing Google Market. Again, thanks for your feedback!
Game is updated to 1.0.3. Now with better experience with gathering the required materials, some performance improvements and new items! Hop on into the game!

The game doesnt seem to recognize my rare components for making the epic equipment, so I am stuck with at the most rare equipments.

We’re actually in the process of making a complete workout app, incorporating all the workouts into one and adding additional workouts and functionality.
To address your question however, we had a number of reasons for packaging the apps separately. Firstly, we noticed a trend in the market whereby many developers employed the same principle. Since these other apps were successful in their approach for various reasons, we thought it a good idea to do the same. Secondly, segmenting the apps allowed us to release them in stages, thereby getting some out into the market earlier. The graphics were quite a bit of work so each took some time! There are other considerations too.
Our end goal has always been to develop a total workout app (our flagship app), with the intention of monetizing it either via IAP’s or by selling it. The others are merely a free taste of what is to come, with the emphasis on free We’ll definitely add shoulder/back workouts in the total workout app, as well as several additional workout routines.

Been using this and your Arm workout app for some days and really like both apps. Not to complicated, not to big, pretty straight forward. Not sure if I would need an All-in-one app, I'd rather have "just what I use" instead of "everything there is". Already gave 5 stars in playstore for both apps, very kind that they come for free! Thanks and keep up the good work!
I think there is a bug with the reminder, even I turned it off, I still get notification every day to start my workout.

Hi, regarding the notification bug: it might have been a user bug (me). I disabled it for 2 apps but forgot about the 3rd app I installed from you, that's why I got the notification.
