[Q] CM10 Nightly\Stable questions - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Hey Everybody,
Why is there no thread for the stable release of cm10? I only see cm10 nightly thread.
How often are you guys seeing the known issue of disappearing - default paid apps\face unlock and I think there was one other issue? are these known issues on the stable release too (please dont flame me, i know this is a seemingly ridiculous question).
and is there overclocking on the cm10 stable release?
thanks and cheers!

Just flash the newest nightly. It runs fine and you can overclock

Thanks so much. Did you encounter any of the known issues? What's the highest Frequency OC?

Nothing really at this point. The RC is just the recent nightly. From here forward the nightly builds will be based off the RC and will include experimental tweaks and fixes until stable enough to be deemed worthy of RC2 or Stable titles...

Cm10 Jellybean is amazing

Hey guys I flashed Bryans Cm10 rom and I am amazed. My sensation is finally lag free. I never thought this phone could be faster then the S2 but now it is.
Just so you know I have tried ARHD, ViperS, Cm9 and various other roms, so I do have something to compare too!

I recommend using Frank's modification of Bruce's ROM, linked in my signature.
So far, I've not discovered any bugs, excepting the lack of font facing camera of course.

i am about to try my first JB ROM though not sure whether to use Bruce's CM10 or Franks AOKP version..
Does Franks always use the latest Bruce CM10 Build as its base? Cause it seems to be falling behind a bit in update frequency.
Lastly i do need Wifi HotSpot which is listed as not working in Franks though is working in CM10...
Would love to hear from someone who has tried both.
Decisions, Decisions..

Bruce2728 cm10 or RMS CMX R7?

Just wondering what you all use and why you choose it. I know the difference in their kernels but other than that why do you choose it. Thanks everyone!

I prefer AOKP actually, just because it has more tweaks than CM. theres a JB AOKP in the dev section, give it a shot if you havent already:good:
AOKP is a good way to go! Try frankinstine's!
Thanks for the input so far

CyanogenMod gets more frequent updates because of the larger user base rather than AOKP, and AOKP has a lot more tweaks to implement into the ROM
I use Bruce's CM10 with Dragunkernel.

How long have you been running it with dragun kernel?
Any issues?
I have been on that Rom for awhile now and never changed the kernel because I assumed the Rom would work best and if you flashed a different one it may break things

[Q] Android 4.2 stable roms

Hello. I am loving CM10 Android 4.1.2 right now. I was wondering if there are any stable Android 4.2 Jellybean roms for the HTC One S (T-Mobile)? If not then I'm happy with CM10 Android 4.1.2 right now.
I use the latest Dark Jelly with no problems (4.2.1, CM Build 10.1). Very impressed, no problems this far, and I consider myself a pretty heavy user.

I heard about that ROM. I think I'll just wait for ctanogenmod to release a 4.2.2 ROM.

I'm using $droyd$'s Feb 15th AOKP 4.2.2 rom. I'm absolutely satisfied with this rom and I haven't found any bugs

I hope they fix the CM10 rom so the camera software is much better.
Well CM10.1 nightly builds have been released for the HTC One S. I won't flash it once its in stable version.

That is a ICS rom.. Last updated in october ;p There are better i guess
I just installed Liquid Smooth and boy do I like it. The only bugs I noticed were the voice search keeps crashing, and the bluetooth wouldn't enable until after I rebooted the phone the first time. Other than that I haven't noticed anything else.

[Q] compatible kernels with MIUIv5 rom

Hey, can anyone please tell which kernels are compatible with this ROM and which one would you recommend? Thanks.
Sent from my One XL using xda app-developers app
Because it's a cm10 based Rom, cm10 based kernels will work. To answer your second question, try them all and see which you like best.
Or read the first post to match up the features you find will benefit you most.

This is incorrect. The MIUI5 ROM for our device is Sense based. You will need a Sense kernel and not an AOSP kernel.
