Just wondering what you all use and why you choose it. I know the difference in their kernels but other than that why do you choose it. Thanks everyone!

I prefer AOKP actually, just because it has more tweaks than CM. theres a JB AOKP in the dev section, give it a shot if you havent already:good:
AOKP is a good way to go! Try frankinstine's!
Thanks for the input so far

CyanogenMod gets more frequent updates because of the larger user base rather than AOKP, and AOKP has a lot more tweaks to implement into the ROM
I use Bruce's CM10 with Dragunkernel.

How long have you been running it with dragun kernel?
Any issues?
I have been on that Rom for awhile now and never changed the kernel because I assumed the Rom would work best and if you flashed a different one it may break things

I saw that this morning as well. I'm waiting on a relpy from AOKP_Rom in regards to official AOKP for the sensation
It sounds to me as if he is just playing around with it.
Until official announcement, I wouldn't get excited.

That's awesome.
Downloading now and gonna give test run, with and without faux' kernel. Too bad whitehawkx doesn't have the device. He's going off of Vorbeth's tree to do this for the sensation. I'd send the dude my device, but all I have left is a SGSII to use.

I'm using it. Bugs: Camcorder, BT and occasional flickering. Other than that everything works greatly.
Sent from my Sensation using Tapatalk 2 Beta-4
So has anyone checked it out? Looks like he released a 3rd test build fixing the bt and flickering. I don't have a rootz account so I thought I'd ask you all.
Also, theoretically speaking, since it is based on Vorbeth's open sensation, you should be able to flash it without doing a full wipe? Or am I mistaken. I haven't tried it yet, kept getting download failed.

Creamy kang is a bit outdated, and like the op says in creamy kang, it has a few other mods/tweaks. Whitehawk's is straight aokp.

It uses the same device tree, but different framework stuff. But as always, try without, but don't report bugs until you've done a full wipe first.

Ya, but the AOKP on that ROM has not been updated for like 3 months. It doesn't has Weather and Navigation bar, just to name a couple of functions.

Hi,
I wonder if it would be possible to have the stock Android ICS rom on your One S? I know you can make your own roms (like blackdragon (wich i'm using now) or leedroid or whatever you want. But I prefer a stock android without launchers . )
Is it possible to have the Stock Android on it? And how do you do that?
Thanks!
Look for AOSP / AOKP / CM9 ROMs, all these are stock android, AOSP is stock, The rest are stock with added options, tweaks, ect.
Have you tried AOKP? It's a stock-looking ROM, but with a ton more features.
Do any of these have the built in TMOUS WiFi calling yet?

i am about to try my first JB ROM though not sure whether to use Bruce's CM10 or Franks AOKP version..
Does Franks always use the latest Bruce CM10 Build as its base? Cause it seems to be falling behind a bit in update frequency.
Lastly i do need Wifi HotSpot which is listed as not working in Franks though is working in CM10...
Would love to hear from someone who has tried both.
Decisions, Decisions..

Because it's a cm10 based Rom, cm10 based kernels will work. To answer your second question, try them all and see which you like best.
Or read the first post to match up the features you find will benefit you most.

This is incorrect. The MIUI5 ROM for our device is Sense based. You will need a Sense kernel and not an AOSP kernel.
