Do you have Google wallet? I thinkbthe hack to get that working you had to rename your phone to nexus

Download and install app. Don't run app yet.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2024460
If you dont want wallet, go into wallet and reset wallet first so if you ever want to use it you can. Then run downloaded app select uninstall. It will reboot phone and show apps counting. Once booted ,should be good to go , check and make sure it worked then uninstall app.
If it didn't work then let me know and there is a script to fix it, also.
Goodluck

Have you tried flashing any TW rom, enabling NFC and leaving it enabled then reverting back to your Liquid Smooth nandroid?
There is an easier method to get Google wallet installed. So you can remove the nexus name from your build. Prop
I'll try getting the link here.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
The app I posted has a restore build.prop button that sets it back to s3 after you setup wallet and cards.
If nfc isn't working the idea of nandroid and install tw rom then enable nfc , then restoring nandroid, is the only way I know of that has worked. Other than odin back to stock and go from there.
But either way I would install app and restore build.prop to s3 before making nandroid.
See the Galaxy sIII shine via SynergyRom
I tried restoring build prop and even tried uninstalling a reinstalling. Doesn't change model or let me enable NFC. NFC can me.clicked on but the text to it stays greyed out.
Think I'm going to go from a asop ROM to a tw ROM. I love liquid smooth but I like features on tw based ROMs also. Idk how to create a nandoid but I got my data and apps backed up on titanium back up. Hope that's good enough and I don't have a issue with going to a s3 ROM if my model says nexus..
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
You'll bed fine flashing, to make a backup just select the backup/restore option in cwm before wiping or flashing anything.
Sent from my LG spectrum (that's right) blazing fast on cm10!
Okay. Thanks. Don't think broken NFC is worth changing my ROM. Lol. I'll wait till a stable 4.2.1 ROM.
Off topic, but you wouldn't know how I could get my data/cache stored on my external SD would you? Lol.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Doing a back up and resetting and then restoring my back up didn't fix NFC or model. I did try synergy ROM. NFC and model changed on there. I can't leave liquid smooths features. I'll give up NFC for it. Lol.

I'd like to keep this list confined to ones that we know to work fully with tablets. Just because it is a theme for CM9 does not mean it works for tablets. We have to remember that CM9 is the first release that allows tablets to be themed without looking like an oversized phone.
I posted it so maybe people can try them out and confirm them as working. What other way will we find out what works or not?
I didn't say all the themes worked. Just thought it might help.

You can't get it to work as in it doesn't apply? Or it is messed up?
Try
1. Go back to the system theme( if you were on another theme)
2. Reboot
3. Apply the new theme
4. Reboot.
That should work

you don't need to flash anything. Are you using any of the updated CM# that let you use themes?
Once you download it you don't need to do anything other than to go to the themes tab in the settings and do what I said earlier.

I have the Verizon GS3 and I have been rooted for about a month now but I kept the stock rom. What are the most stable roms available for the GS3 at this point? Also, the other day I recieved a notification on my phone that an OTA was available to download and install. I declined the update for now because I wasn't sure if it was safe to install it. Is it safe to install the OTA on a rooted phone with a stock rom?

It is safe. Has to be locked and on stock recovery with all stock apps intact. Will lose root and maybe wipe Internal SD. Not sure. Have never taken an OTA on any device.

Most of the TW ROMS are pretty stable. Some of the others have various problems, read in the 2 dev sections about each ROM and it will tell you what is broken. I know, that is alot of reading. But, think of it this way, if you break your phone, that will (should) cost you at least $60 for jtag service. If you read, you can see if you even want to try the ROM. There could be bugs with it that you can't live with. Then again, there could be bugs that you could.

I rooted and tried installing a rom. I got stuck at the samsung logo and tried many things. Odin stopped recognizing my Infuse, I couldn't fix the drivers from seeing my device as Gadget Serial.
I couldn't install the right drivers, so I used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331381
And now my Infuse is the bricked. Its at this screen, it comes up in devices as Gadget Serial still, but boots immediately to this screen, doesn't respond to adb either.

It was actually my friends Infuse, he messed it up and we tried fixing it. I've rooted my Captivate, GSII, Inspire GSIII, Touchpad, Kindle and Nexus 7 and flashed many roms on each, so I thought it would be simple. After hours of trying to get it to even boot during school and a 2 and a half hour Skype call, we finally got it to stock ATT Gingerbread.
We couldn't get Odin to even adknowledge the phone even existed on my laptop. He took it home after school and I walked him through it on his computer and we were able to flash stock with Odin. We did try using Heimdal, it kicked it out of this pretty much download mode state, but it was still stuck at the samsung logo.
Moral of the story: I HATE THIS PHONE. (dont really.. hate it.. just reminds me of the dark days of rooting and roms on my captivate...)

Alright I will help. There is a one click unbrick by the heindall creator. Its a bit tricky to get the driver installed for that though. Once that program unlocks it then you can get back into download mode. From there restock and follow instructions carefully

If you're just looking to get the right drivers try USBdeview. Run as admin, uninstall all drivers that could be associated with the infuse, plug into the direct motherboard USB port (usually left side or rear) and let Microsoft install the drivers for you.
Rinse and repeat till it works (it will) and/or reboot after uninstall of drivers if that fails and try again.
This was the only way I got my comp and heimdall/Odin to recognize the drivers.

This must be your first time rooting from all the questions. My suggestion to you is research research and then research again. Make sure your familiar with the process then just do it. I had so many questions and was hesitant to root my first time but I'm happy I did. Now whenever I get a new phone I root almost immediately . Imo there is just to many things you could do with your phone not to root.

Sorry about the assumption. I wouldn't worry about the flash counter to much because there are ways to reset it if you think it is necessary. As long as you unroot before you take back to or even call Verizon for advice. Not sure about your data. I always turn auto sync off until I'm on wifi even though I have unlimited data I guess it's just a habit. Did you check data usage in settings. Also on beans Rom and synergy Rom in settings under device status it says normal. All the others say modified. Synergy does a great job at hiding stuff from Verizon.

So this rules out software issues.
I can't comment much on the dying part.
Can you check if the battery is loose? That can also be a reason for reboots.
Try a new battery or put some paper to keep it firm in place.
