[Q] Wipped Htc one S - HTC One S

I wipped my Htc one S, stupid, I kknow, now the console does not find the phone, can somebody help???
Done.
Thanks for reply

look if you can still acces hboot. press the volume down button then press the power button. hold down the power button for about 3-5 seconds and release it but keep holding the volume down button till hboot appear. now check if you unlock your bootloader, if yes relock bootloader. look at the dev section on how to relock bootloader. if you succesfully relock bootloader now is the time to look for your RUU this will get you back to stock. im no expert but this what i do. please correct me if i posted wrong.
hope it helps.

oh by the way, before you run RUU you must first flash the stock recovery using fastboot.

This is what I did:
Lock Bootloader and unrooting
Make sure phone is on USB debugging:
1. adb reboot-bootloader
2. flash stock recovery -->
fastboot flash recovery htc_stock_ville_recovery_signed.img
3. fastboot oem lock
4. Run RUU
5. Do factory reset & check mark on earse everything
Unlock Bootloader & Root
Make sure phone is on USB debugging:
1. adb reboot-bootloader
2. fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
3. fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img
Then copy SuperSu.zip to sdcad
4. adb reboot-bootloader-->Recovery--> Flash SuperSu, then reboot
FLASH ROM:
Make sure phone is on USB debugging:
1. adb reboot-bootloader
2. fastboot flash boot boot.img
Or use Flash GUI to avoid step 1 and 2
3. TWRP recovery-->Wipe-->system, cache, devlik, & factory reset
4. flash ROM

Go into TWRP recovery--->Advance--->Mount-->Click on a button "Mount USB Storage" then connect phone to pc
Now you should see an un-format sdcard. Format it. Right click-->format
Once done, click Unmount USB Storage.
Now use ToolKit to flash stock recovery, then use toolkit to lock BL. Now you can run RUU

[Q] Can't boot after CM9[SOLVED]

Hey XDA
I tried to install CM9 today, it fail...
I have unlocked my phone using htcdev.com.
Then I followed this:
If you unlocked your phone via htcdev.com, you must flash the included
boot.img after flashing the ROM in recovery:
- Boot into fastboot, either by:
- Turning phone on whilse holding VOLUME DOWN, or
- adb reboot bootloader, or
- using an option in your recovery (eg. Reboot Bootloader)
- Connect your phone to your PC and copy the boot.img from the ROM .zip
to the same place as fastboot.exe and issue the following command:
- fastboot flash boot boot.img
Failing to follow these instructions on a htcdev.com unlocked device will
cause the ROM to fail to boot.
And now it just stands with a mobile and a ret warning sign. I can get in bootloader, but that's all. I have the CM9.zip on the sdcard but I forgot to run it before I did the above mentioned. I have tried to reset the mobile from bootloader nothing helps
Pleas help me what should I do?
So what is your problem exactly ? Do you have a custom recovery like 4EXT ? It's needed in order to apply the CM9.zip.
None
No i have not installed any recovery app. I cant start my mobile

1.install a custom recovery like 4ext or cwm
(2. Backup current system) this time you don't have to do this since you don't have a working system at the moment.
3. Full wipe (data, system, boot, caches... Not sd card) from recovery
4. Flash ROM zip from recovery
5.flash boot.img via adb
6.reboot
7.done

I'm assuming you know how to boot into fastboot and use fastboot and adb commands. If not, just click on the link in my signature under Helpful links.
Once you're done, just put the attached file in your adb folder, then boot into fastboot and issue the command ;
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

You will now have the custom 4EXT Recovery. From there, just follow the steps you outlined in your first post, and you should be up and running.
Cheers.
EDIT: I see you already got it working while I was composing my post. Congrats!
@op could you please update the thread title to something like [solved]

Softbricked Nexus S

Hi, I have unrooted Nexus somehow its not booting up no just shoing google Logo. I can only enter in dast boot mode and bootloader is locked hence can not load a new rom to it. Tried to unlock the loaded but unable to do so. Used most of the tools in the forumn but sill no success. Its still not boots into android
Any help will be appritiated.
Can you enter recovery? Like stock recovery or clockworkmod. You should be able to.
If you have stock recovery navigate to it using bootloader, then to active the menu press both the power button and the volume keys ( sorry I don't know which one). Wipe data and factory reset. Select it. BUT THIS WILL CLEAR ALL DATA.
If you have clockworkmod again boot into it like above and select wipe data factory reset. This will not delete you data.
If you have TWRP you can for the same as clockworkmod. But go to menu "wipe" and select wipe data factory reset.
Hope this helps,
UselessSniper001
Have you tried Wug's Nexus Toolkit? There's an option in the program for this type of thing. It'll flash full stock on your phone but at least it'll be working again, and from there you can flash CWM and root the phone as usual.
It's in the Nexus S Android Development forum, sorry I can't post links yet since I don't have the 10 posts needs.

I am 101% sure that you are missing something while unlocking either the drivers or the fastboot files.
Otherwise nothing can stop you from unlocking. Finally when you unlock, flash the factory image via fastboot and then proceed again towards rooting and customs. :good:
can u please tell me what method you are using to unlock boot loader?
follow these steps:
fastboot oem unlock
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash radio radio.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot oem lock

My OPO can't start normally

When tap power button, my OPO start the recovery instead of start the system.
use any reboot command of ADB only lead to reboot to revocery.
I even can't enter fastboot mode or bootloader mode.
I flash so many ROMs, and it seems not working.
Plz help!

Download this
cm-13.0-20160819-SNAPSHOT-ZNH5YAO0IN-bacon.zip
Extract boot.img from the zip to your windows pc.
connect your phone and copy the zip to internal memory.
I'm assuming you have TWRP on your phone as you said you flashed so many roms.
in recovery wipe > Dalvik/art cache, system., data, cache.
Flash the downloaded zip.
reboot to bootloader (Now it should be able to boot into fastboot)
connect phone to pc (make sure fastboot drivers are installed, google it if u don't know)
open command prompt and type...
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
then type this...
Code:
fastboot reboot
tell me how it goes.
still can't enter bootloader, just recovery after reboot.

Alright

Cannot boot into TWRP after flashing it

I have unlocked bootloader.
I enabled adb debugging from developer settings.
1. adb reboot bootloader
2. fastboot flash recovery twrp.img (tried all of those: peter's, from twrp website, from link on lineageos official thread)
Up to this point everything works fine
3A. fastboot reboot then hold PWR+VOL_UP
3B. Hold PWR+VOL_UP
And at this step I am seeing fastboot logo plus "Unlocked" label at bottom (while in regular fastboot I don't see Unlocked label)
My best guess that something went wrong while booting into twrp, and it fallbacks to fastboot. However I have no clue how to check what's wrong, where to check any logs etc.
Any help appreciated
My advice would be to flash recovery again and manually reboot into recovery and not using fastboot reboot
If this doesnt work flash rom again via bootloader....Then flash recovery....Do Not use fastboot reboot....
Manually holding buttons go into recovery

However I spent some time on xda and found this Command "fastboot boot twrp.img". Will try tomorrow again, will let you know if it worked! Man I'm probably bothering you!
