Can anyone tell me what the latest CM10 or CM 10.1 (doesn't matter which one) nightly/version has working BT audio (i.e. no static, solid connection/no dropping)? Thanks
I thought the last nightly to 10 (not 10.1) had it working.

any idea where I can download this ROM? Can't find it on CM's page
Are there any Android 4.2-based ROMs with working BT audio?

Because to have official support it has to be out of Alpha/Beta stage. In other words it has to be completely stable on hardware level (kernel and proprietary binaries) before it can be included in the main repo and build with only CM not device changes. CM devs will not bother to fix device stuff, only OS related. So if you are reading the CM10 threads you will know that we are far from that still. It may be working but not for all (example the hitachi panel users). Until this is fixed - no official support.

thanks for the explanation dude
appreciate it. now i understand
i always thought the cm guys do the work them selves to get everythign working correctly.guess i was wrong
so our devs have to get it stable first.then they add it
hi,
I have installed CM 10.1 nightly build on my Nexus s. It works find for me no issues as yet seen. But I wnat to know if the M Snapshots release is muchh better that the Nightlies. Is it okay to upgrage to M Snapshot ROM (Mostly stable is what i have heard) .
If the anwer is yes, Do i need to do a clean flash or just by updating it will work fine???
regards,
Ft.
The snapshots are for people who don't want to flash nightlies constantly. The M1 is the exact same as the 1/21 nightly. Flashing a snapshot is essentially the same as flashing the 1/21 nightly and sticking with it until the 2/21 nightly...
The M1 is stable, as are all of the nightlies.

Done a little digging and I am not sure.
Do any of the AOSP 4.2.1 ROM Currently support Audio out through USB? I am on an unofficial AOKP and it does not.
Really miss this feature.
Thanks

Apparently you can get USB audio working on some AOSP roms with a patch written by jacknorris by following the procedure explained in this post.
Hi,
I was just wondering if CM 10.1 is stable. I know its under the nightly section, but I am just wondering. I use this phone as my daily driver so if there are minor bugs, please list them. I am currently running CM10 right now and its perfect. Thanks
U can always do nandroid and see it for yourself. There is only one snapshot build (M1) which CM team consider to be stable(ish), other ones are nightlies. Nightlies aren't intended to be daily drivers.
Personally, i find CM 10.1 to be pretty laggy at the moment and differences between 10 are not so dramatic to bear with the instability.

For me is CM10.1 perfectly stable. I run latest nightly, update my Nexus almost everyday I never tried CM10, so maybe it's better.

hello everybody! i 've got this problem on my rzr hd with cm11. when i plug the hdmi on tv my phone turns to landscape and the tv got signal but with black screen, on stock firmware works fine. this happening someone? any solution?
tanks for yours answers.
sorry for my english
I have the same issue with HDMI and CM11
The HDMI code is proprietary code owned by Motorola. They have not released the source for it, so CM11 HDMI will not work. Any ROM that is AOSP-based will not work as they are compiled straight from the AOSP source which does not have the HDMI code. Again, the HDMI code is owned by Motorola and they have not and will not release the source since it's not open-source code.
I have an XT925 on cm11 (M5) and HDMI is working without any issues.
Have you actually tried HDMI recently on stock firmware? Perhaps is the actual port that got screwed (been there).

I remember testing the HDMI when I first flash CM11 and it was working, but now it doesn't work anymore... maybe it's an issue triggered in some point between M5 and M6 (I'm currently running M6)
I have an xt926 that runs on the Liquidsmooth ROM (AOSP-based, KitKat version) and have no problems with HDMI. It worked on the Jelly Bean version of Liquidsmooth as well.

I don't remember if It ever worked on cm base, but I'll try if it works on cm10.2
it now works on the latest cm11 with the 3.4 kernel so when that comes to official it will work for every one
