Hi, so I finally decided to make an ICS kernel. Here it is, I will adding more gradually as & when I get time or be bothered to . -Make A Backup Or Have A Backup Kernel That You Know Works On Your SD Prior To Flashing Just In Case.
-Read The Whole Post Carefully, I Will Not Answer Questions Related To The Kernel If The Answer Is Already Here.

-Download & Copy The .ZIP File Into Your SD.
-Restart The Device Into Recovery
-At This Stage You Can Wipe The Cache's If You Want Or Continue To Next Step.
-Then Choose Install Zip from SD Card, Either Internal Or External. Wherever You Saved It.
-Select The .ZIP File & Install It.
-Reboot Your Phone & You Should Be Good To Go.
-Just Give A Few Minutes As First Boot May Take Longer Than Usual.

I don't know yet havn't tested to much but everyone knows that not all silicon is capable of higher clock frequencies you have been warned I take no responsibility if something goes wrong or if something's don't work as expected. I cannot test this on each ROM but im using it with the completely stock port.

I have followed the steps to install ROM but keep running into the same issue.
When selecting to install from ZIP in CWM I get the following message after the update has started running....
assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "p920"
getprop ("ro.build.product") == "p920")
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
Any ideas please?

in the zip file path META-INF\com\google\android\ look for updater-script and delete the assert line and get prop save it put it back in zip and flash again
think build.prop might still be su760

I confess i "stolen" from your github the LiveOC source code...

I implemented it in my the CM10 kernel.. which is giving epic headache!
OK jokes apart, could you give me some little hint on how to increase the signal reception?
In CM10 looks so low...
In ICS i have not the problem because i used Acura ramdisk.

For upgrading from UpdateMe Smartphone:
Just do Wipes cache, dalvik / cache.
Instalation:
1. Download the ROM (zip file)
2. Flashing recovery (if you skip this step)
3. Enter Recovery (Vol-+ + bot.Encendido bot.3D, to release the LG logo appear)
4. Backup your current ROM.
5. Wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik-cache
6. Install from sdcard
7. Choose zip from sdcard
8. Waits one minute
9. Reboot and enjoy
I recommend installing the Acura Revovery
To questions because it takes "a lot" launch is normal complentamente first boot. And to those I have not covered, this is a ROM based v21e and you'll have one of the safest Froyo Gingerbread or different, so that changing the baseband teneir (which is the problem of not having coverage).

I do not know if I forget something.
Instalation:
1. Download the kernel and put it in the micoSD
2. Log in Recovery
3. Click on "advanced"
4. Click on "Wipe Dalvik-Cache"
5. Click on "install zip from sdcard"
6. Press "choose zip from sdcard external"
7. Reboot and enjoy.
Should be bootable for all and there elegis more often as suits you (1208, 1308). And you give it to "Set on boot" in the event that you use the SetCPU.
Try the governors and the I/O schedulers, and tell me.

What is Sweep2wake?
It Allows you to make a Sweeping action along the bottom of your screen to wake or sleep the screen (mimics action of the power button)
What is msm_mpdecision?
100% kernel based multi core decision! (should cpu1 be online or not?)
This replaces your /system/bin/mpdecision binary which is renamed by the installer to mpdecision_backup.
Check /sys/kernel/msm_mpdecision/conf/ for the configuration.
startdelay = time until mpdecision starts doing it's magic (70000)
delay = time between checks (500)
pause = if something else plugs in the cpu, fall asleep for 10000
scroff_single_core = if the screen is off, don't plug in cpu1 (1)
nwns_threshold_up = runqueue threshold, if this is reached cpu1 will be hotplugged (35)
nwns_threshold_down = runqueue threshold, if this is reached cpu1 will be unplugged (5)
twts_threshold_up = time threshold, this amount of time must have passed (250)
twts_threshold_down = same as above (250)
enabled = enable(1) or disable(0) mpdecision. This does not affect scroff_single_core!
idle_freq = a value against that will be checked if a core +/- is requested. (486000)
If cpu0 is below that value and a core up of cpu1 is requested, nothing will happen.
If cpu1 is above that value and a core down of cpu1 is requested, nothing will happen. (otherwise it would now put down cpu1 even though it is still working)

Does s2w impact the battery life in this kernel? Because I'm running rohan's build 5 kernel and I'm losing battery a lot faster than usual. But I'm super excited that all these s2w kernels are popping up! If battery loss is what it takes, I'm willing to make that sacrifice. Thanks for all the work you put into this kernel btw

Try it again. Sometimes it gets stuck cause of TWRP. And the new install method will replace the need for fastboot flashing. Just flash and reboot!

I had beta testers use twrp and CWM
they both had success
It works! It stopped at the 10% for about 5 mins, but after rebooting, everything works fine. Thanks!
BTW: Has the default setting been undervolted?

Flashed normally, twrp, no issues at all. Said 10% and didn't display any higher digit of completion, but it did complete and reboot, tested that slide-to-wake thinger to nake sure it wasnt just screwing with me, it and works great. I've been toying with aroma, maybe i'll try my luck and see if I can cook up a nice little gui to go along with this. Don't hold your breath though. I stopped by to say nice work, those patches are definitely needed. Have you also checked out some of the scripts from v6 supercharger, really helped with my phone and xbsall's rom.

i flashed but nothing changed i just got the nadb insecure why is that? i tried them both through twrp ..
I tested better the init.d scripts and most are totally not useful, i'll remove it in the next version.
Sometimes the flash with TWRP may fail, just repeat the flash after rebooting the recovery or test with CMW (in CMW use the pwr button as OK)

Hey i tried flashing twice from twrp ,,i tried wiping caches. I tried without wiping and flashed from internal and external sd card and still doesnt work hope u can find a solution i will be waiting

Anyway it's weird it doesn't work, i used the updater script of every other update pack.. Try reinstalling busybox
While i upload the corrected version, anyway the pack can be used to extract the system folder and pushed in the system with: "adb push" if you want to use adb or can be pushed with terminal emulator or alternatively with root explorer or equivalent

Did anyone figure out how to send a message greater than 160 chars, other than using a different app such as handcent? I changed the message.apk file and it did jump from 80 to 160 chars but still crashed if I went over.
Also, anyone know how to change the battery icon to show a %age? I think UOT Kitchen only works on GB ROMs. Might be nice to add to the patch if anyone knows

Ok something weird happened i hope u could help me i didnt have busybox so i installed busybox pro and after installation i cand boot into twrp recovery any more i also uninstalled busybox still cant boot to recovery and also installed recovery again ,,,still no luck i hope that u can help me plz

To install the rom V3 International XXL we must change the recovery:
Bootloader 1.10+TWRP Recovery: VOL + / 3D Button and Power
When you leave the red LG logo, release Power and keep holding down the other two until it TWRP recovery.

Connect the phone without battery, only the usb and windows began to emit sound on and off, now we have to go to Windows Device Manager, and see how it comes and goes the OMAP4430 or Cosmo.

Entered the Recovery.
We WIPE ------ WIPE CACHE ------ FACTORY RESET ------ SYSTEM
Again all three times to make sure there is none of the above.

Reboot the phone, and hope has to start.
Once we start to install everything, and we start to configure it to our liking. It is recommended to restart the phone 2 or 3 times to settle everything.
To optimize a little more change these two values:

It would be cool but you haven't linked us to the XBSA Partition as I'm beyond lost trying to find with your misleading thread.
I installed once and was confronted with the frightening and unpleasant bricking of my phone, in which I fixed myself with a .bin ROM.
My current status with your work remains specifically undecided as I can't view it unless your willing to help a noob follow through on doing something that is simple in your eyes but not as easy in others.
May I ask, am I supposed to install a certain ROM for XBSA and stack your ROM on top? I'm a bit mischievous on where this is supposed to lead me and would like to understand if you could provide further direction and be a bit more clear on how to install a certain ROM.
Another small piece of feedback in a manner I would try and oppose to as kind as possible.
Why mega.co.nz?
Not everyone has the bandwidth to pull a download from there as it requires some massive speeds.
Still, thanks.

The work they do is voluntary and nonprofit.
If you can't run it , that's your problem because I'm able to run it with no problems. You can ask for help in the general section , then I'll gladly help you.
China , offered American POWs Cigarettes , Hot meals and a good place to sleep , in hopes of making them talk. Guess what? Most of them did. It wouldn't hurt if you tried that for a change.

You can find the XBSA large bin at the XBSA V7.2 ROM thread.
Your Post is misleading and will probably confuse other users.
The large partition is just a BIN file that you flash the same way you flashed any other STOCK LG BIN ROM because its a STOCK V28B ICS LG BIN with modified LARGER partitions and ROOT.
So you have the same possibilities of bricking your phone that you will have with a normal ICS BIN flashing.
Apart form that P920 is unbrickable unless it has hardware damage.
Nothing to brick and nothing to lose.
p.s xafalo take the link for the large partitions bin modification and instructions from my thread and put it in your thread too if you want too

BTW an app/command/init.d script is required to toggle fastcharge

stock configration are 787mhz to 1.2 ghz
mine are 300mhz to 1.2 ghz

flashable package is ready.
work with cwm and twrp.
size of rom is 322Mb for now.
i am gonna test fashable zip if it work then i will release flashable zip if did,t work then a twrp re-storable backup but i don,t want to cause it is gonna be about 800mb.

Oki... Not an issue... It's just that I'm bored with using the same thing for months now.... I was hoping for something new.. I see that the development speed for this device is pretty slow... Maybe because it's new... I've had Galaxy s2 before and development was good for it... New rom every half a month... Hope this device earns that status too... I can see only you and a few others putting so much efforts on this device... Great work... Thanks.

there are chances.
but rom is not problem problem is kernel.
if i ported then thare is chances of less features.
kernel porting is not easy i have to work from beigning on d2203 source code.
for d2203 kernel.
first of all if some one reported rom is working on d2203 also then kernel is only thing needed to be ported.
i dont know if D2203 and D2202 / 12 are compatible vice versa

You haven't changed any system files so it should directly compatible with d2203. Only drawback is that they wouldn't be able to use the kernel which comes with the rom but that wont cause any problems.

kernel is only problem for d2203
i think i can,t upload rom today.
upload is getting stopped for some reason.
