[APP_REQUEST] 4.2 Camera with working photosphere - Android Apps and Games

Hi.
My camera from android 4.2 is downloaded from this page and my photosphere is too slow. Photosphere is working but is very slow. I mean that after take first picture I must turn my phone around me for take second picture... Can anybody reply me and help? It would be great!
Thanks for advices
AOSP 4.0.4

No one?

Every version I've seen requires you to do that. You have to line the up the dot and depending on what's moving and the light it could take up to a second before it takes the picture.

Nexus S FFC flash????

I was wondering if there is a app or someone can make the screen get bright right before you take a pic with the front camera kinda how there is a "flashlight" app for phones that dont have a led light and use the screen brightness just wondering if this would work for night time pics
searched around could not find anything on this at all so sorry if it was answered
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA Premium App
i doubt it will work since it is facing you and not the real camera
Well what i was thinking is you take a pic of yourself with the front camera that the screen will get bright white kinda like a flash but just making it as bright white the screen can get for a second to see yourself better at night

I agree. That's very similar to my Mac desktop. The screen flashes right before it takes a self portrait. I bet an app can be created, but the issue might be auto focus. The front cam isn't all that great with auto focus so when the screen flash it might show a white blur.

On my nexus s it does not focus with the front camera justs takes the pic as is, is it suppose to autofocus? Im on nightly #31
Anyone know who we can talk to, to get something working?

HTC One S camera

Just curious if anyone else is having thos problem. When I take a picture close up to something an click the screen for focus it gets really clear then goes back to blurry. I was wondering why my pics that were distant were blurry that's why I took a close up of my hand and it did that.

Still blurry for me
Did you happen to update to the latest OTA? I did and I started noticing that. Before the OTA, not so much.

I've not updated my phone via OTA. I'm running a custom rom and it's still blurry to me. Just like the OP described: ''It'll be clear for a second and than become blurry''
don't go too near. back-off bit by bit till you can get focus.
So far, One S has got best camera among Android phones. Even though they said it's same camera module as One X, I compared two of my friends' One X and find out that my One S works better in low-light condition.
Well when take a HTC Amaze lol and take pics as close as you want. I noticed the horrible camera bugs after ota I wish I would have never updated.

omg i was just taking some close ups and mine was doing the same, its frustrating because you see the picture crystal clear and then it overshoots and blurs

I have this problem too.
But sometimes i managed to get it to work but i'm not sure how i did it.
You might want to try putting the aspect ratio to 4:3, focus on something near, it still will not focus.
Then change back to 16:9, then try to focus on something near again, then it'll work.
Im not too sure if it'll work for everyone, but it works for me somehow.

It drives me nuts, I wish there was a option to turn off auto focus to see if when we touch the screen to focus does it focus better

People said that in the latest ota 4.0.4 this problem is gone.
I can't confirm but if you want to try.

I use this camera for photosphere:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1965895
and this camera for everything else:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746611&highlight=aosp+camera
I have never been able to find a working photosphere camera that doesn't freeze when taking a normal picture without touch to focusing first. It's really too bad. I'd pay a few bucks for that photosphere on a camera app that I didn't have to worry about re-flashing everytime I forget to touch to focus first. IT isn't a horrible workaround, but I almost always tend to forget, or hesitate too long after I focus and end up having to flash a .zip again and reboot before I can take a picture. It has caused me to miss way too many great pictures so I gave up some time ago. If anyone comes across one without this bug, please pm me. I'll gladly donate for it.

Galaxy S4 camera apk port or alternatives...

Hello guys, is there anyone working on porting the galaxy s4 app for the Nexus 5?
I really love my Nexus 5, but the S4 camera app is way better! better pictures, better modes, I can take pictures while filming or I can press and hold the photo button and it takes 20 pictures in a few seconds... those are features that I miss in Nexus 5 camera app...
If there is any alternative, please comment below.. thanks!!!

Hi,
You can do that with the Nexus 5... At least with the stock camera app.

Can they even port the s4 camera onto the s4 aosp? Usually not.
Pretty sure you just press the screen when recording video to take a picture.
please don't post questions in general

Just touch, I mean tap, the screen while filming...
It's written on the screen the first time you launch the camera in video mode

I mean, take many pictures in a few seconds, like holding the photo button, it's good to take photos in moviment while doing sports...
sorry about the question in the wrong place
You listed 2 different features. We answered we have 1 of them.
Many camera apps on play store that can offer burst mode

Ok. But why put "or" in your sentence?
For me you speak about two different things, take pictures while filming AND long press on shutter button to take 20 pictures in on time...
But no worries.

Search and you will find: Moto X Camera, LG Camera Port, Modified "Stock" Camera. I've only tried the modified stock one, and like it a lot.

Line Across Camera Screen?

There's a line across the screen when using my camera app...stock camera app...I'm on latest Paranoid with latest PA GApps and it just started today out of nowhere.
The line appears in every camera setting...Panorama, photosphere, Video etc. Anyone else ever see this? Any suggestions for a fix?
What I've tried...
1) Reflash ROM and GApps
2) Flash a different kernel
3) Start new (AKA clean flash)
NONE OF THESE HAVE WORKED
What I haven't tried...
1) Wiping the phone, locking the bootloader and starting over.
Any thoughts? Hardware issue? Thanks.

It's ONLY on the camera app right? Have you tried another app? If it does then it's a hardware problem.
when taking the photo and viewing it what does it look like? line through it?

Thank you for the responses guys unfortunately its definitely a hardware issue...the line is there in every photo app and also there in gallery when viewing a photo I've just taken. I have a warranty replacement on the way to me.
