You could enter recovery before?? I mean, you have CWM installed right?
Anyways, if you can enter Download mode as you said you can flash any ROM you like, here you have:
- Stock ROMS
- Custom ROMs
Hope it helped ^^
That is a great help thanks, though some of the latests stock roms are on megaupload and are dead links.
Been searching for those threads for ages, though they seemed to have eluded me!/

Haha well, some of them are on Megaupload, but most of them are on multiupload, which is great because it has links to many servers in the same one page! Try it!
And you're welcome, we're here to help
Still having issues, i was hoping to get it back to stock but i cant seem to find a complete update e.g. I9003 XXKPE if you know where i can find one please advise.(all the links to full updates are broken in the above links).
Also, being a noob i am struggling to find info on how to get CWM on my device, as i mentioned i can only get to Download screen. Do you know where i can instructions for flashing it with odin3? All the ones i have seen seem to suggest you need to know what version you are currently running, but i have no idea.
Thanks.

I don't think you can install CWM withount knowing your current firmware... I'll make a tiny tutorial for you for flashing with Odin:
1. Download XXKPE from the link from geekynoob
2. Download the latona file: http://www.mediafire.com/?8753v6sqskbdxs6
3. Put your phone in Download Mode (when off, push Volume Down + Home + Power for a few seconds) and connect it to your PC via USB
4. In Odin, push PIT and select the latona file. Make sure Re-Partition is checked when you do (Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time should be checked as well).
5. Push Start and wait. When finished, the phone will reboot and stay on a black screen. Then, remove your battery and put it back again.
6. Get into Download Mode again and connect your phone to the PC. Now push Reset and select the XXKPE files:
Code:
[B]BOOTLOADER[/B] -> select the file with [I]APBOOT[/I] in his name
[B]PDA[/B] -> select the file with [I]CODE[/I] in his name
[B]PHONE[/B] -> select the file with [I]MODEM[/I] in his name
[B]CSC[/B] -> select the file with [I]CSC[/I] in his name
If any of these files do not exist, leave the field blank.
7. Push Start and wait until reboot If you want another version just flash over XXKPE
Now for the root and CWM:
1. Download the file for your firmware from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331253
2. Enter into Download Mode
3. Open Odin, push Reset and load the file you downloaded in the PDA field. Push Start and done!!
If you don't know your version though or you can't flash KPE, it could be difficult to install CWM. You can always try using Kies and update your version (if there is an update) or reseting/reinstalling from there your curent firmware (I think you can, but not sure).
Ask if you found any problem!

You did not mention which stock rom you flashed.
Start from scratch.
Flash XXKPE first. Follow the guide given by Misledz.
Then go for XXKPQ or DDKP3 as you decide.
Hi Folks,
Noob here... I've been lurching about the forum for about a year now, and finally decided to man up and sign up.
I apologize in advance if this has been addressed in previous posts, but my numerous searches have not been successful.
I am encountering some issues with my CWM recovery and I need to revert to the stock recovery. Can anyone point me to a resource where I can download the GT-P6210 - ODIN stock recovery so I can remove CWM?
I am currently running the permanent (ODIN) CWM recovery.tar.md5 from this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1777003
Thanks a lot!

I see how it works now. For some reason, I thought the stock recovery was a stand alone aspect, independent of the OS/firmware. It appears that simply flashing the stock firmware also got rid of the CWM and reverted me to stock recovery. Thank you for setting me straight!

You stated in the OP that you had a 32 GB, so you'll need a 32 GB .PIT. However, I don't believe that is your problem as a .PIT defines the partition table layout on the device. That should not have been changed at all. I'd try redownloading the ROM you want and try again, or I'd choose another ROM. Also, are you 100% sure that the ROM you are using is compatible with your tablet?

Hello All,
My N8020 is now semi brick after trying to flash it back to stock. It was on custom rom before but showing different errors so i decided to change the rom...First i tried to install another custom rom which was cynogenmod 10 but after intstalling this rom from cwm phone stuck at cynogenmod startup logo i waited for long time but still nothing. Then tried different versions of cynogen roms but same...After all this i decided to install a official rom so i flashed this with
N8020XXBMA3_N8020XSABMA2_N8020XXBMA1_HOME.tar
but now the real problem started..Now i can boot phone in download mode but not in recovery mode at all...Then i tried to flash a cwm via odin and get "PASS" messege in odin but still no recovery mode...Tried to flash to flash clockwork recovery several time but nothing changed and then i check in download mode the custom flash counter increase every time i try to flash cwm...then i searched the stock recovery for 8020 but when i try to flash it via odin i always get "FAIL"...
Now i m out of ideas and searching for a real solution....SO can anybody please tell me what to do next to get it back to life???
Regards,
Muneeb

You are correct, I can't find for n8020 either.

Try to flash cwm again. Don't check auto reboot in odin. When finished flashing cwm, press power+volume up, when samsung or whatever appears on screen release power but keep presing volume up until cwm loads.
Let me know if you have any luck.

I would start all over from scratch to ensure the files you used were for your device.
THIS IS THE AUTO ROOT PACKAGE FOR AN N8020. UNZIP THE FILE & FLASH VIA ODIN
THIS IS CWM RECOVERY FOR N8020. FLASH VIA ODIN
THIS IS TWRP RECOVERY FOR N8000 WHICH IS WHAT YOU WOULD USE. FLASH VIA ODIN
Its possible at this point you might need to run a pit file. Nand erase as well. Read into them before EVER attempting.

I have tried these two already "CF-Auto_root" and "N8020-CWM-6.0.2.8-Darkman.tar.md5" but still same..But now my question is will N8000 twrp recovery work on N8020?
Pit yes it can be the solution but its bit risky isn't it?

Yes N8000 is the twrp recovery for N8020. Yes pit is risky but if you read into how to do it and follow it you will be just fine. Sometimes a device may require running NAND Erase also (meaning checking the box in odin). The biggest problem with pit file is people not knowing and just running it as if they were getting a custom ROM.

i tried the twrp recovery also but still same the custom binary counter increasing but no recovery mode....
Can u plz tell me a bit about pit flashing how to do that????One more thing i only able to find one pit file all over the google which is created by a user so can i use that pit file..
Thanks for ur time!
I didn't find a working pit for my n 8010. Don't worry too much about the binary counter, mine was 118 today, I reset it with triangle away. I don't have the balls to do a nand erase on mine, I'm not even sure that is required for my problem, at least mine is working.

When you ran N8020XXBMA3_N8020XSABMA2_N8020XXBMA1_HOME.tar in odin did you have the re-partition box selected?

Yes, dont check auto boot though leave that unchecked and if it passes reboot to recovery and do a data wipe then reboot. If you run into error add your pit file to the pit window along with your stock tar.md5 file and run it just as I mentioned before with repartition selected
Make sure the pit file you use is for your device model/storage size

Hello all,
I have been going slightly mad today trying to get my mate 7 2GB back from CWM to stock recovery. The main problem is that I do not have a stock recovery image. But after being shown where to find one, I noticed that I could not get it successfully flashed either.
Since I do not really know how to do this, I used flashify, but that did not work and either returned me to the CWM or sent me to rescue.
Can someone help me to a) get a stock recovery image for the Mate 7 version MT7-L09 and b) show me how to properly flash it?
Find stock recovery is easy.. only a question why flashify don't work for you? It work fine for me... your device is rooted?

Hi @dzjero86, my device is rooted and I am on the B137SP03 version atm, using CWM. Don't know why Flashify is not working for flashing a recovery image. It works fine to flash a CWM recovery. Maybe I have the wrong stock recovery... If you can find it, can you send me the link or add it as an attachment here?
Please guys help me to . i have that same problem i have been trying to flash the stock recovery again but i couldn't even with flashify after i flash i takes me to bootloader screen and it shows me a fun_error message
I have a tl-10 device

A way to find the stock recovery is : download the whole B137SP03 Rom from the Huawei site , and use a tool called "Firmware unpacker for Huawei" whit this tool you can extract the recovery.img from the Rom and try to flash it using flashify
Firmware unpacker

Rom

Pd : I am not a developer or anything similar but I have some years of experience rooting and etc ...

Do you tried flash via fastboot ?
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Or try to use this tool
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mat...custom-recovery-tool-mt7-l10-l10-mt7-t3022424
This should work.
The fast boot just stucks at waiting for device
And the tool you send says that the stock recovery works only on tl_09 and my device is tl_10

Ok, I couldnt access your firmware unpacker, but I did manage to use the tool you suggested.
I have a different recovery screen, but is this the right one? It has EMUI large in centre screen and the options reboot system now, wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition.
If this is the correct one, and I am already on the D137SP03 ROM, I should be able to locally update right?
I tried this, and got a lot further this time, but my phone gave an error message during the update. Do I need to flash the original B137SP03 rom again, even though I am already on it?
I think you maybe can flash using adb commands and also you need adb drivers working

I think so. If stock looks like I described: black screen, large EMUI logo, and the options reboot system now, wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition?
That's right... you have stock recovery... sometimes the update fail if the UPDATE.APP is on the internal storage.. try to flash from a micro sd card or re-download the update ....
English is not my first language...

No luck so far.... I've downloaded the update.zip, put it in my mnt/ext_sdcard/dload folder and start the local update. It begins OK, as the progress bar moves along. But after about 25% it shoots to the end, and then I get an update failed screen with a red exclamation mark.
What could I try to get it to work??

Ok, I just reinstalled the B137P03 version from the how to install lollipop thread, and that went successful. Now going to try the update.zip! Keep you posted
Ah, now we're talking It seems to have worked. Phone is now showing 'Android is upgrading' and 'optimising app.....'
Great! It does seem strange I had to reinstall the B137SP03 rom, but that did the trick!
