I just restarted my phone (HTC HD2) and like always i enter my code on the lock screen, but this time it says its wrong or sometimes it doesnt even do anything!! I restarted a couple of times and its still the same. Can any1 help plzzz?!!
Welcome to the forums!
Maybe some problems with your SIM-card? Try to replace it in your phone and see what happens.
If you keep getting the problem, flashing another ROM would probably fix it.
If you're not familiar with ROMs etc, I suggest you go to the HD2 forums and take a look there.
Hope this link helps:

Good luck,
I got the same problem with you. My solution is just do the hard reset.
Does anyone know better solution?
Hey guys, I'm wondering if you can help me with my phone issues... the other day my phone froze and wouldn't respond, so I took out the battery and put it back in but now it won't turn on at all. It vibrates like it's about to turn on, then nothing happens. When I plug it in nothing happens, and when I plug it into the computer it won't recognize it. It's an Xperia X10 (Rogers) and I haven't downloaded any mods or anything from this site, is there anything I can do to fix this??
Thanks!
EDIT: Also it doesn't go into flash mode! I've tried using the sony ericsson update service but that didn't work
I think your hardware gone.goto customer care
Xperian8~ click thanks if it helps...
My phone has done exactly the same thing as yours has, please get back to me if you sort out the problem as I'm having no luck in trying to fix mine at the moment.
Like said before , it's a hardware failure , contact customer care
I am currently using HackAce to root my Inspire 4g.
At first it didn't work, so I tried again after fixing my USB cord problem. I wasn't using mine, I accidently grabbed my friends. Now I am stuck on [RUU]WP,radio,95 and I've been stuck on this for a while now. My phone currently shows the black HTC screen with the green loading bar that is currently stuck about 3/4ths of the way. I've read the manual I think a thousand times and can't seem to find the answer to this.. or am I over looking it out of frustration.
I'm afraid I also posted this in another section and wanted to delete it, but dont know how. lol sorry for the over post.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem or should I just leave it?
First of all, I wanna say HI to all, cuz NOW am a REGISTERED MEMBER, here on this greate forum!
Secund, thanx to all u out there working ur best, to make it easy for us helpless hehe
Now to the subject!
Got a One X that does not start like it should. I think its something I can solve with my two hands, and hopefully not something too hard for me, to send it to some hardware fixer in some factury?!
The following things happens when I PRESS THE ON/OFF-START-button!
1- The red-charging-light turns OFF
2- The phone vibrates.
3- The red-charging-light turns ON
2- HTC Sync starts, and even "folder options" by Windows 7, there I can select to view whats on the memory, like a USB-stick.
And thats it. The screen remains black. Even in a darkroom, there were no light on the screen at all.
The phone is about a year old and I dont think its broken at all. But its the first time a phone is going black-screen on me, so dont actually know what or how to do.
Thats why I turn to u guys, and hope that you can help me in the right direction!
Big thanx from me and especially Iraq & Sweden!

OK, so it's starting like it should but black screen....
Try this - power your phone off then hold the volume down and the power button at the same time. Should start you up on a white bootloader screen. If you don't see the white screen, it's probably a hardware problem with your screen itself :crying: Do you still have warranty?
The "black screen" issue is a fairly common hardware problem from all accounts. It happened to me this past weekend. It's not clear what causes it, but a lot of people have experienced it.
I got AT&T to upgrade me early to a One. I've been fooling around with my One X, but nothing has solved it. I ran the 3.18 ruu on the chance it was a software issue, and it made no difference.
Game Over!

Hello again and thank you for your answers.
I'm really disappointed with this phone. I did not know it would be difficult and so complicated.
It's not even used much and now dead?!
I've tried everything now. Read through many forums and especially on XDA. Tested with different combinations of keys, installation of RUU and even tried to open it and see what the problem is ... BUT NOTHING
Why should this happen to this phone / model?
Always had HTC and never seen anything like this. Really disappointed: (
That said, I have not been able to solve this problem, but many thanks to you for taking the time to respond and give me tips.
Thanks / Yunyii
try putting pressure on the left side of the screen, near the edge, see if it flickers on at all. If so, it could be a loose cable.
Sent from my Sony Tablet S using xda app-developers app
Hi everyone, I hope I chose the right forum where to post, and I am sorry if I didn't.
I have a problem with a new cubot s208: sometimes, randomly, my screen starts flickering for some seconds, and then it goes completely black. But the strange thing is that if I lock the screen when the screen is black, when I unlock it isn't black yet and it doesn't flicker. Unfortunately, flickering will re-start after some seconds.
This strange fenomenom doesn't happen very frequently: as I reboot the device, the problem will vanish for some days.
Googling I found some tutorials that suggest disabling hw overlays, but this didn't work with my smartphone.
I need some help, can someone solve this problem? At least, I would like to know if it is an hw or sw problem, cause in the first case I will try to sell it back under warranty.
Hi, its hard to say if its software or hardware as either could cause this. There isn't much info about your phone but I did find someone else with the same one here

You can ask there or start a new thread in that forum to see if anyone else has your issue
Best of luck!
