I am currently using HackAce to root my Inspire 4g.
At first it didn't work, so I tried again after fixing my USB cord problem. I wasn't using mine, I accidently grabbed my friends. Now I am stuck on [RUU]WP,radio,95 and I've been stuck on this for a while now. My phone currently shows the black HTC screen with the green loading bar that is currently stuck about 3/4ths of the way. I've read the manual I think a thousand times and can't seem to find the answer to this.. or am I over looking it out of frustration.
I'm afraid I also posted this in another section and wanted to delete it, but dont know how. lol sorry for the over post.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem or should I just leave it?

Hi,
My friend gave me his device and ask me to upgrade it, I already read everything n download the ROM n done upgrade the device.
Now my biggest problem is I cant align screen. I tried n tried many times but still same.Got any idea or solution for this problem???
Thanks everyone! Thanks
I tried upgrade using ROM from t-mobile.nl and the one from here but still same....
no one got any idea or got same problem too???
HI
One of my friend had the same problem. When trying to Align Screen, same screen appears again and again.
I tried Upgrading to New ROM still same problem.
Final Solution: I replaced the Touch Screen, Now there is no issue.
So Friend, This is and expensive solution but this is the only solution...
Your case may have some crap making contact with the screen. Before replacing your screen, read the hermes thread on using a business card to clear the crap and fix the screen. If it doesn't work, and you've tried hardreset/new rom, you are probably better off buying a new phone.
You could replace the screen, but it might not be cost effective.
I could probably disable the align screen settings for you, but if the screen is misaligned anyway, the phone is probably of no use either way.

I still keep trying, hope got the solutions soon....
Thanks everyone!
Hi, I am new to this forum. Sorry if this thread is not in the right place.
I own an O2 XDA Orbit 2 aka HTC Polaris and today evening it froze on me. I tried soft boot, restarting, getting the batt/sim, memory card out but it just wont get past the boot up screen.
Its got the windows mobile logo with a volume bar overlapping it. It just stays on that and I have no clue what I need to do to fix it. I am a bit stressed as it got all me emails and some personal pictures and data which I cannot access.
I have also connected it to my PC via USB bit it wont let me explore the device. I would really appreciate it if someone can advise me on how to go about fixing this problem.
Many thanks
Try posting in one of the Polaris forums, you might get more help there

Hello there,
i have got the same problem as this gentleman has mentioned above, is it possible that someone can help us out with this annoying problem, i am very disappointed because its only 2nd day of my orbit 2 and it started behaving like this, your urgent replies will be highly appriciated.
Thanking you in advance.
I have had this a couple of times with my orbit - windows logo and volume bar just stting there. The only way I have resolved it is to perform a hard reset.
I wasn't even trying to s-off, root, or do anything like that.
I was just on the market downloading a game, then all of a sudden my phone just hanged.. it had a grey screen, and the four capacitive buttons were lit up. there was no response for like 10 mins so I took out the battery.
Now whenever I try to turn it on, it just gets stuck at the HTC screen.
I tried restarting with volume down, but i didn't know what to do there, nothing seemed to help.
can anyone tell me what i can do??
i gave up and tried to do a factory reset.. but even that doesn't work! it gets stuck on that screen and nothing moves...
i dont get it.. my phone has been fine for 2-3 months, the first time it crashes and this happens... and i havent even attempted to s-off or root!!!
Well, i had this issue, but a battery pull solved it.......... good news for you is that you didn't S-OFF or ROOT it, so you can easily get it replaced.
yeah.. I went to other forums to search about this problem, and to my surprise, I saw that lots of people with Desire S has had this problem.
It mostly happened to people who were in the middle of updating apps in the market. The phone doesnt boot pass the HTC white screen, and factory reset doesn't work.
I will probably have to be without my phone for a week.. sigh.. it's going to be torture

Hello, I have unfortunately I think soft bricked my HTC Inspire 4G, while I was trying to root it using a one touch process, it was going through it all fine, and now it just keeps vibrating when I turn it on (which takes about 15 minutes) I called HTC and they think that it might be something with the RAM. I have looked on these forums, and only see so many answers, but none of them seem to relate to me. Has anyone experienced this? If so, were you able to fix it? The phone is under warranty until December, so might just send it in. Any help would be appreciated
Does the phone eventually boot though after 15min. If so you have a incompatible hboot. Follow this thread to fix it.

Hey everyone! First post on the xda forums. I apologize if someone has already covered this issue but I havent been able to find anything about it. I've been rooting phones for a little over a year now, started with my good old LG Optimus T, and most of the time everything went perfect unless a ROM gave me fits. Now I'm onto the LG G2x and I love the phone but I'm having issues with CWM and running ROMS. The biggest issue is that when I boot into Clockwork Recovery, my phone sometimes restarts once the backlight times out, which is really odd and super annoying when I'm trying to install a ROM or do anything else. Everything is usually fine if I just keep touching the screen while its doing anything because I'm keeping the backlight active. I feel as if I installed recovery wrong. I first installed it using the CWM app which seems like a no-no, and since then have installed it with NvFlash, which hasn't changed anything. Can anybody maybe explain why this is happening? I'm also having issues getting any ROM to be reliable, every one I've tried will maybe work for a little bit, but after a while will just get into a loop of starting up, working for a bit then my phone restarting and its just the same loop over and over again. I'm wondering if that can be attributed to CWM. Anyways, sorry for the long post. Can anybody help me? Thanks
