i have tried it. still it does't work dude.

Look for Market instead of play store. If that doesn't work, install play store from gb gapps zip

Download Google Apps from this link: https://rapidshare.com/files/1364957457/gapps-hdpi-20101114-signed.zip
then tranfer it to your phone via USB cable, reboot into recovery and flash the GAPPS zip. That should do it.
Hit thanks if I helped!

Question regarding backups

Hi
Yesterday i wanted to check out a new Rom. So i did a Backup in cwm 5. I flashed the new Rom, After wipeing and factory Reset. Off course i did not touch fat32.
When i restored my backup it looked like a complete fresh install.
Can anyone explain what happened???
Really...no ideas at all?

Could you explain fresh install? I mean fresh install of your old rom or the new one.
I'm really still new to flashing but i think if you do a nand backup you backup your entire old rom.
Still one tested advice, next time backup your apps with titanium backup, copy backup on pc, wipe all, install rom, format sd card, after that restore apps using titanium backup, i think thats as clean and tidy as it gets. You don't need to format sd card but its cleaner that way.
Hope it helped.
P.S: Some roms (especially ICS and JB) need the partition to be formatted as ext (extended) partition still idk if a rom will automatically format the partition, my bro nedded to manually reformat using cwm, i didn't really follow the process when i was adding my ics rom but i didn't need to repartition, at least not manually.
By fresh install i mean like if you just flashed a rom without doing any configuration or installing anything.

Well it is a new rom, what you backed up as far as i understand is your old rom with settings, so it's just normall for the new rom to be fresh installed.

Xda app Error

Hi guys ...
Yesterday I installed Ice Cream Saga Final rom and run v6Supercharger script in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1859700
I get error when switch to Andromadus CM10 by flinny (restore from nandroid backup), Xda app icon appear but when I open it say App's not installed. I try restore from TB but never success, restore process never end. Reinstall Xda app.apk from sdcard can not be done too. I clear cache, dalvik cache, fix permission then reinstall Xda app again get same error, app can not be install.
Then... I do clean install (format all partition except sdcard+factory data reset) Andromadus (build 122) + latest test kernel + gapps but still can't install Xda app.apk from sdcard.
I try install from Google Play but can't be install too.

How to fix this??? Anyone please help.

Did you delete any folders on your sd card or remove the card? Does the app show up in titanium as installed or un installed?

[Q] Bootloop with stock rom

Hi,
Yesterday i restored my old stock rom backup, successfuly ofcourse
I saw that many apps were moved to sd card( sd card wasnt partitioned that time). And eventually data of those apps were in my sd card which i formatted before! So when i open those apps it says no longer linked to phone theni decided to factory reset because it was a hell lotta mess.....so i did a factory reset from recovery menu and rebooted!
And now i am stuck in a bootloop
I just wanted a fresh start of my rom
Any type of help?
Thanks

Usally the super user application present in the system partition. factory reset will wipe only the data partition. So super user don't affected but Settings belongs to super user also will lost...
Same thing happened to me. So i wiped everything and installed a custom rom

Can't delete some left over files/folders

So I've tried 4 different roms and finally settled in on Bonestock 3.3. Others I tried were Hyperdrive, JellyBeans, and MOAR. Only probably I'm having is I can't delete the leftover files on the internal storage drive from the other 3 roms. I've tried the stock My Files Browser, ES File Explorer, JRummy's Root Browser and even Rom Toolbox Pro's file explorer and none of them will delete these left over files from the other rom. WTF!!
*yes they all have root permissions.

I would do a factory reset wipe and format internal memory. Then reinstall your ROM

Yes. I was in the same boat. My first row was cyangenmod CM 10.1 but missed the stock stuff. So I have tried all most all the TW roms and had the left over files. So I moved everything I wanted to my external sdcard and formatted everything else to clean it up.
Glad it worked

Happened with me some time back. I re formatted SD-EXT partition and was all fine then.
Here's what to do:
Backup all you apps (with apps like titanium backup) and messages and all the other stuff (in case can't restore)
Reboot into recovery
Backup your ROM (nandroid backup)
Backup your sdcard
Wipe all data/Factory data reset
Recreate SD-EXT partition
Restore sdcard
Restore backup (nandroid)
If doesnt boot, remember you have the backups of all the apps
