Ebay TPU case S Line - Nexus 4 Accessories

Hey guys,
This is the first case I got for the N4. For its price and at the time you couldnt beat it. It was a great option and it def helped me while other companies were still developing their products
Here is the video!

If you have issues with the power button, just use a knife and cut the two long sides of the button on the case and that should fix it. It feels great right now and clicks well

Recessed Power Button

Alright, I've gotten one solid response from a user, but I want more responses from others, if they can.
I just came from the Inspire forums, where I developed and everything, but one thing that bothered me about the Inspire was the terrible build quality (Especially the power button), where the power button would become recessed into the housing, making it hard to press.
My question for everyone here, has your power button begun to recess into the One X housing? How often do you use your phone?
Build quality issues are truly a thing of the past on this phone.
Mine is good.
Mine hasn't done that at all.
Maybe its defective
Edit: My power button has become less clicky since this post.

Wait is the power button supposed to be clicky?
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda premium
Nope. Still as good as the day I got it.
I wish it wasn't so tapered to the phone though, and that it was a little more out like the Gnex.

Just because of the power button? What if you get a phone with any number of other more serious problems people are having? There are a lot of quality control issues with this phone.

Yes "just because of the button", if I can't turn on my phone, it's a problem. Why pay insurance if I'm not going to use it?

Mine has started to recess. To the point where i have to hit it on the right end so it unlocks the phone. Its a major pain in the ass. i have straighttalk so i might have to take it somewhere to get fixed or google on how to do it myself. This is the only complaint I have about this phone
Mine works like a charm. Maybe you're pressing it too hard?
I must have pressed the power button a bagillion times when I was in boot loop. Still works well at this point.

I use my phone damn heavily and I've got no issues with my power button. I would like it to be farther out to begin with, but it hasn't deteriorated at all from its original state. I have used a case since about a week after i got the phone though.
I just got the Incipio Silicrylic case, and from what I can tell, the power button hasn't changed. Sometimes I hit it, and don't realize I hit the button, but the screen turns on. But most of the time I can feel the succinct click, and know I hit it.
Not supposed to "hit" buttons. Press and caress. Sorry off topic

Gonna open it up today with a safe pry tool and try and see if i can fix it. Will update later how it goes.

Quality control - my 4th SGS3!

Anybody else out there having amazingly bad luck with your GS3? I just got a 3rd refurb and it came with the power button loose, and fell off in under 3 hours when I tried to use it. They are sending me a new unit instead of a refurb this time - priority overnight. This is the 2nd one I've had with a power button that came off! #2 just rebooted randomly more-and-more every day until I gave up figuring it out after a factory reset and "Safe Mode" start - it would still reboot just sitting there. *SMH* :silly:

Jumped up and down, calmly getting elevated from first-line tech until I got the "customer advocate". She agreed that if I had gotten two defective "recertified" phones, I deserved to have a real (new) one. I had to agree to a two year contract, which in my case only adds 9 weeks to my commitment and they agreed not to change my TOS. Basically they did an end run around themselves, because it will look like I upgraded my phone again, allowing them to ship a new unit. *SMH*

Do you suppose these type of returns are what prompts Verizon to keep the bootloader locked down? If I were Verizon I'd sure want to.

mine has this weird line going down the left side of the screen
its only noticeable if you have a light source shinning on it and holding the device at an angle, doesn't effect viewing quality at all
slightly annoys me but im not about to return it and get a scratched up refurb phone in return

New to the one s

Hey all! Just got my one s yesterday, and so far loving it.
Moved here from my beloved nexus one. Love that phone, but its age was becomming apparent. Pushed it to it's limits thanks to all the devs with roms.
So now I come to you guys!
What is the most stable rom so far? I'm a huge cyanogen fan. How is cm10? Any gain or losses? Much appreciate any ones words of wisdom!
Does it have a home button wake or something? The power button so far is a huuuuge pet peeve to me. Can never hit it.
Anyway, loving it so far. First time using sense ui, its nice but I love vanilla android. Just getting used too change.
Thanks again for all responses!

If I were you, I'd wipe the phone and throw CM10 on it. It's pretty stable and Sense is horrible.

CM10 recently broke my (and seemingly only a few other people's) navigation; other than that it's petty stellar. I'm using AOKP right now by Klin and it's working perfectly, including nav. So for me, AOKP is the best ROM for the 1S right now.

Mine clicks pretty easily, not sure what trouble you're having... it's hard to click, you don't like the location of the button, etc. I just reach up and click it, lol, then the screen turns on

Hard to explain I guess. Its like its so flush its hard to press. Just like pulling it out of my pocket and trying to hit it with one hand, doesn't work very well.
Its not a colicky button, just soft push... If you know what I mean? I'm used to just a actual button that sticks up.

The case I tried had a cover but it made it slightly harder to push.
Give it a month, it'll become second nature
My case covers the button and it is slightly raised, so I have no issues hitting the power button. When I first got the One S, that is what I hated most... the stupid power button.

I'd also have a look at the CM10 PA ROM by klin. Its flawless so far and i'm really seeing the benefits of jellybean while using it. I dont have any problems with navigation.

Even Worth It?

So recently i just upgraded to the Note II. I was wondering if its worth trying to sell my Blaze 4g? The only problem is it has a small crack on the bottom of screen. But i actually filled it with the same stuff used for rock chips on a car windshield. (My dad works with automotive glass) i did this so the crack wouldnt spread. Worked pretty well, can only notice it if in sunlight and happened months ago. With no spread.
So you think anyone would still buy after the crack. Or is it something that should just be thrown in the drawer?
P.S. the crack doesnt effect daily use of phone , you cant even feel its crack. Can post pics if someone wants tonight.
Well you could donate it to a dev.. better than being forgotten in a drawer.

When I saw that I asked him right away if he dropped it or if his pockets were tight. He responded no to both. I've never seen him drop it, in fact the phone is still flawless. Nevertheless, the ended up shipping out a new phone. AT&T has really good CS. I'll let you know when the phone gets here. Oh yea, almost forgot, his screen is turning yellow now too.

Yea after seeing the updated photo there's no doubt that was caused by pressure. Sat on old phone before by accident and the screen did the EXACT same thing.
I wouldn't say this is a screen issue, just a damaged phone by accident :*(
Hopefully cs doesnt consider that physical damage and charge full retail price after they get it..
