One X or Rezound?

I Really want to get a new HTC phone so i could get rid of my blackberry. I used to have a touchpro 2 and loved it!
so ive been researching both the rezound and one X but i can't come to a conclusion of which one to get... just looking for some opinions.
Thanks
(You are on the One X forum, people will ALWAYS say that you should buy the One X)
Anyway, the Rezound is a phone from last year (not even the best one). The HTC is currently the best phone on the market equipped with enouf hardware to last the next 1-2 years without a problem!
I'd go for the One X unless money is really the issue, then go for the Rezound. But if not : One X all the way.
I've also posted this on the rezound found and there are mixed reviews(some say one x and other say rezound) so it doesn't really matter where i post
Sorry but such threads belong in the General General forum.
Cheers
i got my htc one x today and what a phone you wouldnt be disapointed if you got one
How can you even compare the two. One works for cdma, one doesnt..
Depends on your carrier, If verizon, rezound, if not A one X variant. Rezound could still hold its own today and probably will for a while. But that one X is sexyy

One XL = AT&T One X?

I just bought a HTC One XL here in Singapore. For the most part, it seems to be similar, or the same as the Telstra version. I need to know if ROMs developed for the AT&T One X are compatible with my One XL. While I know most of the hardware is the same, Snapdragon S4, my version has 32GB of storage while the AT&T version has 16GB. Thanks!
No work, different hardware. Try the One "X" threads.

YES the One XL is the same as the AT&T One X.
As far as compatibility is concerned as long as you don't change your radio you should be fine flashing ROMS from here, just don't flash any RUU's

Thanks! I will read deeper into it. Seems to me like HTC hacking is a little different from Samsung hacking. Still a bit bewildering right now.

Samsung is definitely easier to mod. No doubt.
Once you get the bootloader unlocked and a recovery flashed though it's pretty similar.
Happy reading!
I guess i was wrong, sorry

[Q] One XL or One X+

Ok so I am confused over which one to buy. The X+ has faster 1.7 quad core but the nvidia chip whereas the XL has the amazing Qualcomm s4 one. Which one is best regarding gaming? The X+ has better battery storage etc but better gaming?
You're asking a bunch of XL users which one to buy? You might get a slightly biased response here. Surely you don't need someone else to tell you how to spend a few hundred dollars. Personally I prefer Qualcomm chips. There's more development for the XL too. But in the end you're going to have to make the decision for yourself so this thread is a bit pointless.

+1 with Qualcomm chips you can get S-off and more possiblity... One X+ is'nt a bad phone but....
I upgraded from my evita to a one x+ and was disappointed to the point that I traded back too a evita in the first 5 days development was not very busy no official cm and the thing was a fire hot battery animal

The X+ is HTC's red-headed stepchild (um . . . no offense to red-headed stepchildren). A mid-year incremental upgrade to the One X, the X+ was sold in extremely low numbers, with little support from HTC or the development community. The X+ was condemned to obscurity form the start, to say the least. I'd stay far away, as the slight increase in CPU power is not worth the downsides.
That said, unless you are really strapped for cash, do you really want to spend your hard earned money on phones that are a year to a year and a half old? I'd consider a more current device, especially if you are worrying about gaming performance.
One X over X+
Just acquired an X+ thru some linux PC work I performed. Used it for a week, back to my X. Def more custom roms & optimization support for the One X.

att one x plus

this is probably a stupid question but can i flash htc one x roms on the att one x plus?
No.
Sent from my Evita
Completely different hardware. In particular, its not even the same chipset (SoC) manufacturer. The One X/XL (EVITA) is the Qaulcomm Snapdragon S4, One X+ is NVIDIA Tegra3.
So no, you definitely cannot flash an EVITA ROM on the X+. It won't flash, or even if it does it won't work or will even brick your phone.
Stick to ROMs intended for the X+.

[Q] Which forum to use...

Hey guys, i have an HTC One X that i got from rogers. My question is whats the difference between this forum and the other HTC One X forum. Would i brick my phone using the other forum? Whats the main differences between Rogers HTC and the other HTCs?
Nvm, figured it out myself. The Rogers HTC has a Snapdragon S4 processor while the international has a Tegra 3. I have my question answered, thanks.
Yes you'll brick your phone if you go to the other forum. You have the HTC One XL (Evita). For some reason the north American carriers decided to incorrectly market the phone as the One X which has caused a bit of confusion. The main difference is that the hardware is completely different, they look alike but on the inside (where it matters) they're worlds apart. Anyway, stay in this forum and you'll be fine.
