try wiping dalvic/cache/fixing permissions after flashing. After doing this I only had 1 reboot in about 5 days using doomsday's 3.0.55 kernel.
arco/ivendor will fix this issue hopefully.
I had to change governor to Smartass because Interactive started to lag...

Less power on device, better battery.
But lower performance I think.
And why differs this kernel from Franco, like the ICS kernel? I think we already got enough kernels
Greets!

Oh, you mean the camera exposure , it's the camera flicker right?
If it right , it is the OC method , i use SoC OC method from cyangogenmod source.
The flicker fixed long time ago, i will fix it when i release the ICS kernel

Undervolt will under the voltage of CPU Frequencies , it'll give you bettery battery life and stablity. And about the undervolt 748Mhz freq , i didn't do that.... I didn't test to undervolt 600Mhz and higher frequencies... doixanh (i took the undervolt frequencies from him) told me that it will crash when i undervolt 600Mhz and higher frequencies
Undervolt just decrease stability and only increase battery life by a bit.

Maybe try removing the spaces from the file name? Replace them with hyphens or underscores or something? Spaces in filenames always cause trouble!
Downloaded and installed just perfectly here, with GAPPS. Now getting it all configured the way I like. So far so good, this is my first time on CM.

Since they are both cm builds nothing is going to look different, but if youve been reading you would see this has the battery drain fixed and the remote hack thing patched, where the official cm9 drained batteries like crazy and was hackable

well, im so proud to see another lebanese developer over here
im gonna flash it and give it a try
bas habibi bil post u said ( n7000 ) l galaxy note 2 is ( N7100 ) one more thing bi3ti2id ino l original charger gives only 1100 mAh not 1700 so correct me if im wrong
and if it was as i said just 1100, set the charging maximum to 1200 instead of 1700, otherwise a lot of phones will be dead when left on charging all night long
and try to make it cwm flashable, its better and never increase the counter in download mode
phone never boot up just stuck on black screen after the note 2 sign, are u sure it is for note 2 ?? or for note 1 ?

Yes it is but the one that you should flash for TouchWiz Roms is Wizdom13_stock_v1.00.zip which I didn't submit yet as I'm working on extensive test for it.

Great smoothness, superb connectivity ... But there's one thing. ..
Battery drains a little worrying, but it's not bad.
Overall, it's a swell kernel so far... well done! :thumbup:

Thank u dude for trying my kernel. Actually the only thing that may coz a little above normal power consumption is that the CPU is clocked on 2 Ghz as the maximum scaling frequency. If you set the max freq of the cpu back to 1600 Mhz using any tool like SetCPU you will have less then normal drain and power consumption bcoz of the extensive undervolting applied to the CPU, GPU and Midas chips. Also the fact that its zRam enabled make it conserve power bcoz RAM usage will give less power consumption than the MMC in this case.

Nice work what i read here.
Can you say a time when a TouchWiz variant is possible?
Sorry guys as I don't have much time to spend on this project. I'm working on it in my spare time. Stock (Touchwiz) have some issue right now as actually its not my priority right now. Actually I'm working on Call Recording feature for the AOSP.

Changelog
r1
based on the kyleopen-kernel source by Cheatman (includes all previous features)
Kernel version upgraded to 3.0.101
ZRAM using LZ4 fast compression/decompression algorithm
Frandom module added // initialized on boot
CPU OC 1305MHz or 1228MHz or 1113MHz
lowest frequency 61MHz
GPU OC 300MHz
SmartassV2 values tuned
various small changes
compiled with Sabermod-Toolchain 4.7.4
works on GT-S7560(m)
+++ r1-PRIME only
CPU OC 1344MHz
GPU OC 333MHz
adaptive voltage scaling enabled (may or may not work) // more stability
Awesome!
I have no problems so far. Actually amazed how smooth the device runs on the SmartassV2 governor, kinda choppy on the 'ondemand' though. And I didn't have to change the modules. Great work! Hope there is more to come :good:. Maybe you could also compile another version that is OC'd at 1228 MHz or something, not for me but maybe for others. Mine can't handle anything more than 1.113 GHz.
Is it compiled with Sabermod 4.7? Other than that, it looks really great, even better than BA2X 2.0. The only thing I could ask for more in an S Duos/Ace II X/Trend kernel is undervolt. We'll have to try that out sometime.
Can somebody please post guide to back-up and install modules as I'm not sure how to do it

ZRAM?
Thanks for the suggestions regarding the use of ZRAM.
First of all this is not a new feature in the kernel as the stock kernel makes use of it too. Whats new is that the drivers are updated and the LZ4 algorithm is used for compression/decompression instead of LZO.
Why do we need ZRAM?
Simply we do not have that much RAM and swapping to disk is slow.
When the device is going out of RAM the ZRAM expands the amount of available RAM by compressing unused data in the RAM itself. This benefits in avoiding slow I/O processes caused by swapping to disk. LZ4 is a very fast compression algorithm with up to 3 times faster decompression than LZO. Of course this doesnt come out of nowhere and some cpu cycles must be used for compression and decompression. But after all i would say it is worth the price for a bit of snappier performance.
How much RAM does the ZRAM use?
Only the amount of compressed data is used from available RAM. So when there is no data compressed in ZRAM the device can make use of the full inbuilt RAM.
Does deactivating ZRAM increase RAM?
No
...I'll stick with it for now. Time will proof.
If you really want to deactivate maybe ask @holymoz he can guide you.

That's what I use for BA2X 2.0 and my CM10.2 kernels. I don't think there's anything quite better at the moment. However, I've seen tutorials on how to build toolchains from source, and optimizing them for a specific architecture. I'm thinking of building Sabermod's toolchain sources (on Github, I think they're called toolchain_build) after optimizing them for cortex-a5, which is what our device has. I'm just not sure how exactly to proceed with building the toolchain.

For MIUI(9), 2 files must be replaced.
For the Wlan to work, 2 files have yet to be exchanged.
system/lib/libhardware_legacy.so -> libhardware_legacy.so.bak
system/lib64/libhardware_legacy.so -> libhardware_legacy.so.bak
libhardware_legacy.so.txt: copy to system/lib, rename libhardware_legacy.so.txt -> libhardware_legacy.so and 0644
libhardware_legacy.64.so.txt: copy to system/lib64, rename libhardware_legacy.64.so.txt -> libhardware_legacy.so and 0644
Whether the kernel is now better or equally good, "no idea".
Probably better for battery.
without perfd and therminal-engine
Antutu:
elementalx: 121206
interactive: 149411
The DragonXia brings as more, but would have to be adjusted.
Problem: MIUI Video Camera still does not work - no picture, just sound.
