Maybe try removing the spaces from the file name? Replace them with hyphens or underscores or something? Spaces in filenames always cause trouble!

Downloaded and installed just perfectly here, with GAPPS. Now getting it all configured the way I like. So far so good, this is my first time on CM.

Awesome! Thanks for this. Installed just fine, and I can confirm that the dialer-wipe exploit is indeed fixed.
I'll check the battery life as I use it this week and report back. Thanks again!

No way in hell you're getting that with stock battery...
If I had some time, I would help you guys test but unfortunately I don't right now. I'll let this rom marinate for a week or so before jumping into an install. Everyone post detailed findings!
Cheers

Hi guys! Tried this ROM and volume is not working(at least on headset) :/ It's so loud even when put to the lowest.

I should be able to flash over this (wiping cache and dalvik of course) if i'm currently on scverhagen's earlier release of this correct?

After 3 downloads and like 5 install attempts it worked xD So whats the reason to upgrade from an already working rom? I just upgraded from 9 A5 and I dont really see much of a difference . Both great functioning roms

Since they are both cm builds nothing is going to look different, but if youve been reading you would see this has the battery drain fixed and the remote hack thing patched, where the official cm9 drained batteries like crazy and was hackable

Less power on device, better battery.
But lower performance I think.
And why differs this kernel from Franco, like the ICS kernel? I think we already got enough kernels
Greets!

Oh, you mean the camera exposure , it's the camera flicker right?
If it right , it is the OC method , i use SoC OC method from cyangogenmod source.
The flicker fixed long time ago, i will fix it when i release the ICS kernel

Undervolt will under the voltage of CPU Frequencies , it'll give you bettery battery life and stablity. And about the undervolt 748Mhz freq , i didn't do that.... I didn't test to undervolt 600Mhz and higher frequencies... doixanh (i took the undervolt frequencies from him) told me that it will crash when i undervolt 600Mhz and higher frequencies
Undervolt just decrease stability and only increase battery life by a bit.

Thanks to XsMagical and Team Nocturnal for the video!
What is coming soon:
Code:
-Fast Charge for ROMs that support it (such as AOKP JB)
What I hope to add but no promises:
Code:
-MSM DCVS governor
-GPU control
-Gamma/Color control (tightly integrated... there is loose integration with current 3rd party apps)
What is never coming so don't ask:
Code:
-BS patches and features
Download: http://code.google.com/p/rohan-kernel-evita/downloads/list
b6 and onwards include two versions: a NORMAL version and a NOVC version. First try the NORMAL version. If that does not work correctly, then try the NOVC version, which includes all features except voltage control.

Recommended values:
192mhz Minimum
1.98ghz Max
I/O: sio
CPU Gov: intellidemand
Use an app like No Frills CPU Control and set the values you want at boot.
These are extremely alpha builds. They are not fully tested and may brick your device. If something does happen to your device, you are not to blame myself or any others involved in this kernel. Flashing this is solely your responsibility and if something happens, blame yourself. Always make a backup before flashing. Making a nandroid of your boot partition takes a few seconds but could help you save your device from bricking.

My goal for this kernel is to make it simply an enhanced stock JB kernel.

Because I do not want to manage 2 kernels at the same time, on top of my three ROMs. I will be including some ramdisk tweaks in the future, and the ramdisks vary between AOSP and Sense.

Nope, I'll be keeping this kernel separate. If a user wants this kernel, then they can flash it on top of my builds I don't want to force the user to use anything they don't want.

Any chance we'll see the additional free RAM from the Android 4.0.4 Sense ROMs, or is that not a kernel thing?

Most probably not, its not worth the effort IMO. Unless its something easy, that is.
Running great on build 2 of AOKP. Got a good solid base here to work with. I would like to say thanks to u and h8 for all the hard work.

Yes if OTG could be made to work that would be amazing, imagien being able to hook up a USB stick to transfer files or be able to use apps that make use of OTG yummy

I just tried again after wiping cache and dalvik, wifi still doesn't work. I think the issue may just be that I'm running the old unofficial CM9 rather than the official one.

when you charge the cpu won't go into deep sleep it stays at 245mhz charging uses cpu power
smartas*V2 is the better way for the moment
and i think lulzactive is a problem i searched for a reason of the drain and i found out that this governor stays at one frequence @800mhz
i do some tests and provide a new kernel maybe the battery must charge 3-4 times and then the drain is better
i do my very best to fix this
no reflash do not help

[KERNEL] Kernel Sapec 2.6 TW_KK_Update 7_N9005

Hello
ThIs is a kernel for N9005 (International Note 3 LTE). This kernel is for TouchWiz rom's.
This kernel is for all those who like the stock kernel, but appreciate some extra features.
It's not a"racing" kernel or a kernel for "battery".
This kernel has the same performance and battery consumption as stock kernel.
This kernel does not have any tweak for performance or something else. When installed, this kernel has the same configuration as the stock kernel.
Kernel RE-based on Samsung sources update 7 (N9005XXUENB7 - N9005)
Differences for kernel stock:
1 - Support to init.d
2 - Selinux permissive
3 - kernel insegure
4 - Francisco Franco Sound
5 - Display Control
6 - Led Control
7 - Synapse support
8 - CPU OverClock (2.803Mhz Max.) (2.265MHz default)
9 - Added some governors (intelliactive, intelidemand, lionheart, dancedance and smartmax)
10 - Added some schedulers (Bfq, Sio, fiops, fifo, vr and zen)
11 - Tweak menu if Synapse is used
12 - Fast charge configurable
13 - Simple GPU algorithm
14 - GPU Overclock (578MHz Max) (450MHz default)
15 - Added some Wifi TCP algorithms (Westwood, bic and Htcp+)
16 - Backup of Synapse data available (see that)
17 - Added new hardlimit, from yank555, much more versatile than the previous version
Changelog:
Version 1.7 - Initial release on XDA
Version 1.8 - Changed sound mod from FauxSound to Francisco Franco Sound
Versión 1.8.1 - Ramdisk of XXUEND3

Version 2.1 - Fast Charge 1.1 by yank555
Version 2.6 - New Menu on Synapse for GPU and CPU governor, Simple GPU algorithm, new hardlimit version 1.6a, Added some Wifi TCP algorithms (Westwood, bic and Htcp+), Added Bfq scheduler, Added Intelliactive governor, GPU Overclock (578MHz Max) (450MHz default), More options and information on Synapse, Backup of Synapse data available (See that)

Suggestion:
The governor default is interactive. If you want to use other governor, not interactive based, to avoid freezes and randomly reboots, please turn off DVFS with DVFS Disabler or with Wanam Xposed, and reboot your phone, before change the governor.
Any freeze or reboot reported in several days of use, with ondemand.
Apk to configure this kernel:
You can use your prefered application. I think the best option is Synapse. This kernel is fully compatible with Synapse. You can download it free, at Play Store:

Warning:
This kernel is properly tested, and is working on my phone for several days.
I am not liable for any damage to your phone, just because you use this kernel

First Will report back on the performance.
Running it right now. As expected, very limited options in terms of tweaking, but it's pretty smooth so far. Going to run a few tests and see how it holds up, have you tested its ability to initialize deep sleep mode?

the code used in this kernel is already on github. Just search a bit.
In the future, perhaps I publish only the changes to the samsung kernel, which allows a more friendly consultation.
I don't know if it's allowed by the rules of the forum. A kernel must always be accompanied by their sources
