Testing. Very smooth. When i.m with usb to the laptop and touch the phone i get reboots. Usb in charger no problem. Overall very good but drain. I think because he wont deep sleep. Did clean install.format everything except the sd card. What can i do for the deepsleep or is this bug?
By the way .again a very good job THX

I don't have any problem with deep sleep. Why don't you try to reinstall the rom?

Απ: [ROM][JB][4.1.2] PAC-man ROM v19.3.0 with 3.0.x kernel ~01-02-13~
Tested since yesterday but I had a huge battery drain although it goes to deep sleep....in 8 hours went from 60% to 12% and I didn't install any applications...I did a full format of system, data and cache, install the Rom and gapps and then clear cache, dalvik and fix permission....

i look at it and provide a new kernel

Yeah, kernel is not yet fully working.
But I also changed the governor and now i have deep sleep. however, after choosing reboot my phone hangs up (different rom though)

Hey thx for answer but i didn't do anything @ kernel and did clean install. Set gouvernor yesterday to smartas and overnight with charger plugged cpuspy says 36% deep sleep. Maybe reflash without format data?

when you charge the cpu won't go into deep sleep it stays at 245mhz charging uses cpu power
smartas*V2 is the better way for the moment
and i think lulzactive is a problem i searched for a reason of the drain and i found out that this governor stays at one frequence @800mhz
i do some tests and provide a new kernel maybe the battery must charge 3-4 times and then the drain is better
i do my very best to fix this
no reflash do not help

@OP
Could u implement paranoid settings in the next release? I miss it so much

PA settings are not opensource.. So he cant.... You need to search XDA for the setting and download them by yourself.

FAQ:
1. My device rebooted or crashed, how can I help?
A: Get me /proc/last_kmsg or logcat.
2. Battery sucks, my device is not entering deep sleep. FIX PLOX!
A: Fix it yourself, it's an app waking your device up not the kernel's problem. Also make sure you let your device settle for at least 2 charging cycles. Typically apps like Facebook and Google Maps can cause problems since they wake it up pretty much all the time
3. Signal is dropping since I flashed the kernel, amg u sucks!
A: The kernel has nothing to do with gsm/cmda signal.
4. Do I need to wipe anything when flashing this kernel?
A: Just wipe cache and Dalvik cache after flashing.
5. Does this kernel has X or Y mod?
A: Learn to read, everything you need to know is in the features list, changelog or public repo.
6. Don't use 3rd party init.d scripts!!!
7. After the device boots, the phone runs at 1.35Ghz. So make sure you set it to whatever frequency you want.
8. For Daily use and best battery life, Recommended Settings are 1Ghz Max, 600Mhz Min, Conservative Governer and CFQ/SIO IO Scheduler.

great work buddy...! I have a suggestion that u should creat different OPP for different frequencies. It will br very easy for a normal user to change frequencies through different opp.
It seems very good!!! I will be testing for some days and if battery drain is good, will add to my rom! Thank you!!

can you make it also compatible in AOSP rom?
As I thought its not booting on my phone. Because from my experience I learned that my phone support only 1.2 ghz max. Above that phone stuck at boot screen. Can u give me test kernel with only 1.2ghx max opp????
I am going to test it right now. Would u mind, if it is powersaver enough, if I add it to my ROM (CleanKpuRom) ?

Your device will boot now, download and flash the kernel.
Your device did not boot becuase I set startup freq to 1.35Ghz so the phone didnt have enough power to turn on.
Now you test the new uploaded kernel, it will boot and you should be fine.

I dont know wheather u have repaired the universal titanium kernel or not but on my xxkpq its not booting. I always happens whenever I use a kernel which is overclocked to 1.35 ghz. But whenever I use UC v9 1009 version kernel which is overclocked to 1.2 ghz only then my phone always boot successfully. Its something related to overclocking above 1.2ghz which my phone is not accepting.

Maybe try removing the spaces from the file name? Replace them with hyphens or underscores or something? Spaces in filenames always cause trouble!
Downloaded and installed just perfectly here, with GAPPS. Now getting it all configured the way I like. So far so good, this is my first time on CM.
Awesome! Thanks for this. Installed just fine, and I can confirm that the dialer-wipe exploit is indeed fixed.

I should be able to flash over this (wiping cache and dalvik of course) if i'm currently on scverhagen's earlier release of this correct?

Since they are both cm builds nothing is going to look different, but if youve been reading you would see this has the battery drain fixed and the remote hack thing patched, where the official cm9 drained batteries like crazy and was hackable

News:
1. guys having no deep sleep or deep sleep after an hour:
mostly you guys are coming from cm9 or cm9 based roms or gb roms. so after flashing, don't start checking the cpuspy for deep sleep. first discharge your battery fully after flashing, then recharge fully. then test with cpuspy. thank you.
2. V3 with 2.6 kernel has usb mounting problem. it is caused by boot.img>ramdisk>init.qcom.usb.rc. i could not fix it because of lack of time.
workaround is to reboot to recovery and got to mounts and storage option and then mount usb storage. other than that its all good.
3. Kernel 3.o.x is quite stable, imho. I have not noticed any graphic glitches. But battery is better in 2.6.35.14 kernel.
4. Dpi has been reduced to 210,to make the rom look more slick and beautiful. But this might lead to play store compatibility issues. You will then need to change density to 240.
How to do it:
grab root explorer
go to system>build.prop.
edit it with text editor
find the line ro.sf.lcd_density
change the value from 210 to 240.
then reboot.
Google Now Works?
And you will keep update this ROM or not?
p.s: FIRST !!
Thanks alot for your return!
Very very very nice.
Great work Doom!!!
Great Doom! Can live without camera for a while... does voice recognition work now? Would be awesome

Y U must be kidding me.
It's only about 30 min from the Thread start and you want battery life?
I'm prtty sure Doomsday94 don't have time to check "BATTERY LIFE" .
Will that desktop's clock .apk work on ICS?
I'm referring to the clock that is posted on one of the screenshots.
If so, do you mind uploading it?
Thanks
OMG awesome Doom
Thank you for bringing this on our device! I love you man (no homo).
Dammn this ROM is smooth... And the extra theme is awesome..
Hell, nice works dooms. I don't want to bother or disturb you but can you port this rom to galaxy wonder? Thanks

Could you make an screenshot with cpu spy to show us if deepsleep works?
Thanks in advance..
some first impressions:
everything very smooth, about good things I will post later but its excellent!
and now:
setting gets fc while changing some of the trebuchet options
alarm doesn't have voice, only vibration
while on national roaming, always shows R next to the signal bar strenght, couldn;t see network what I'm using on mobile data - that's because there's no 3rd option to tick in roaming settings
as far I found those ones.
Found another bug: Speech Recorder will FC
EDIT: when I put the phone in standby it will get black stripes all over the screen. You should try.

that's already being used in my CM10.1 builds
can i use this kernel directly without sd-ext partion?
What is the order of partitions we have to use?
Tips : Sd card > sd data (1gb) > sd cache (80mb) .
This is order for the partitions.
sakindia123 u dont make for 4.1.2 base aosp rom?

Yes! Everything is stable and tested for some day before to be released (it's the aim of Test Builds ) But I have to manipulate directly code in sources in order to apply UV 'cause our device platform doesn't have the voltage controller
If I made mistakes i'm sorry, but i haven't practised my English for 3 years (4 this year) I'm a little rusty

there you go
and i would like to report that with this kernel i m getting real slow int connection almost nothing by the way that your rom Aces_Droid_Plus is an art peace :good:
so... this works with any GB based ROM?
and are there any bugs?
P.S. well im testing it now with inspiration v17.1 and it works very well... but there is a big problem. Some apps that require SuperUser acces just don't work; for example "Seeder" app from that rom asks for permission but the app says the device could not be rooted properly. For the moment is the only app that has this problem with this kernel but there could be more

Well the problem is only with this app and i found somenthing in the "Seeder's" thread.
some people have the same problems using custom kernels and a guy says that the kernel developer has to make a frandom fix.
well i don't know what is that so i can fix it myself
Does this kernel have any bugs?
