Hi guys!
Just a simple question here. I had sabsa prime 8.5 and through using some app or flashable zip i had my clock displaying in the center of the notification bar instead of on the right. I installed sabsa 10.0 today and forgot how I managed to get the clock there. I thought there was an option for that in that' Pimp my rom' app, but there isn't. I can't for the life of me figure out how I did it on desire S. I searched the forums but all I can find is for either CM or other phones.
Help please!
I might be wrong, but i think there's an option in "Fallout tweaks".
Hot damn...you're a genius...I checked fallout tweaks earlier but for god knows what reason didn't go in the status bar tweaks' menu. Thanks man. I feel quite dumb.

I have googled the heck out of google, and searched a few forums and my head just spins. I see that there are many custom roms that offer the change, but Im not interested in customs roms at the moment. Is there a zip file that I could add?
If i missed something, sorry for adding another thread on the matter...
My Evo is rooted, and Im using Launcher Pro.
search for smooth sense mods
I am running Cyanogen MOD, which has that as an option, but I also use a widget you can download for free in the market called BATTSTATT. You can have it display the battery percentage written out or numerically. It is really nice looking, granted it is a widget and perhaps not quite what you are looking for.
For the stock rom I use Battery Indicator, it adds a percentage to the upper left in your notification bar.
Newbie here!
Just installed Uber Z RC3-1 and encountered no issues in the process. However, I've noticed the following issues and hoping someone can point me to a solve:
The PEOPLE app does a force close each time I try to open any contact
Apps installed after Uber Z (like Y Messenger and Key Ring) also do a force close upon opening
I'd appreciate any help with these issues. Aside from that, the ROM rocks and I'm very happy with it. Thanks.....
Have you tried updating to the RC3-2, or reading the devs change-log to see if it was addressed previously, and possibly corrected in the update?
thanks for the reply! I saw references for Uber Z RC3-2, but never found a link to it. Can you direct me? Thanks...

found from the Dev's website
Thanks for the link! I'll try to flash that tonight.
I was a bit confused by the suggestions to 'grab a Battery icon, or a font mod'? Can you translate that for this newbie?? Sorry if I seem like a dolt!
Font mods change the font of text on the phone, and the battery icon mods change the look (mostly color) of the battery icon in the notification bar.
I believe for Uber Z stock color is grey, I normally install green, which is Sense' thing.
I am now rooted and really want to know, do i necesarily have to be using a custom rom to have the nice little status bar tweaks because thats pretty much all i really wanna do and maybe speed up my phone (overclock i think is what its called). thanx to all that can help and that even try to help

To over clock you just needed to be rooted and install setcpu (maybe other options out there) I believe you'll need a custome rom to change the status area. I run miui rom with extended settings in which I just installed a custom carrier logo (fallout logo to be exact) you maybe able to mess with the file system to change status area but I'm not sure.

No you don't need to flash a rom to change the status bar icons. Search, search and search. Hint, you might want to check out:
Infuse 4G Themes and Apps
Themes and applications for the AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G
You must have a kernel that supports overclocking first....like bedwa's kernel.....the voltage control app works best with it...
As for changing status bar, Google UOT kitchen and read up on it as to how to make the tweaks you want...

Hi, I'm quite new to putting a new rom on my phone, but so far loving the results but just have a couple of questions if anyone can help??
I have just installed an ICS rom, and I quite like the simple weather widget it comes with as stock, is there a Digital Clock widget to match it, I cant seem to find one, but I am sure I've seen one somewhere.
And secondly, is there a tweak somewhere that will allow me to have Wake On Volume keys?
There is not one in the settings maybe there is a downloadable one somewhere?
Thanks

Widgets in ics are more or less a problem right now. There are only few, because until there is a stable version it will be held as clean as possible. You can use any widgets from market not made for a special launcher. Try Android widgets pro, even if it had no digital clock though.
I think cm9 is the only ics ROM with volume key screen on, even if I'm not sure whether it's supported or not.
But there are other non-ics roms supporting that feature. I'm using endymion 3.4 and always waking up my screen with volume keys. On cm7 there was the same feature for sure.

Hi everyone!
I installed the ViperOneS Rom 2.0.0 (HTCExtension_Sense45_2). Rom workes perfectly nice with one exeption.
Everytime I open my clock app - to get access to alarm or timer - the app closes after 4 seconds. No matter what I do...
I did full wipe to install the Rom. Also I changed some small things like color themes, activated infinite scroll, changed clock-widget background color and some other little things...
Not sure what is causing the problem. Since I didn't find any posts with a similar problem I think I messed something up.
Has anyone an idea what to do to get rid of the problem? (also installing new sense clock apk's didn't solve the problem....)
Thanks for any help!
