build 26
CM10 good finally installed build 26 fixes some bugs really good but the main problem is the battery consumption

It's so lucky for us, 3 main developing groups (CM, AOKP, Paranoid Android) don't leave us alone. I'm using Paranoid Android and find it great too. Maybe we don't have many choices, bit the developers have tried hard to make the most stable roms, then they've ... left us.

[NEWS] Cyanogenmod Installer (Complete news thread)

Hello Xda,
About 3 days ago i read on the web that CyanogenMod has become an original company (CyanogenMod Inc) they reached 7 Million and now they want to do something which is really amazing.
So what i actually mean is that CyanogenMod Inc will bring us a one click installer for almost all devices (ONE NOTICE: DEVICES THAT ARE WITH A SPECIAL PROVIDER ARE NOT SUPPORTED!!!) With this installer you can simply install CyanogenMod software on any phone without going trough all the other steps.
Here are some pictures of the CyanogenMod Installer:

I'd imagine that this would only work for officially supported devices and not unofficial, I don't see how this will work honestly unless it downloads your required ROM for your device?

[WIP] Xperia MIUI

so i've been trying out a lot of ROMs, eventually I started modifying a LOT of ROMs for my satisfaction, but this time I wanted to share a Pre-Developed ROM. this is a Combination of the Traditional Xperia Feel and a Lot of MIUI experience. though ive adjusted a lot of things I may need suggestions and Help to Finalize this and Release it for Public Use. at the meantime i'd show what I have and what needs to be worked out
OK so here, lets start with the Home Page, im currently working on including a bar for theTray since its Transparent.

}
here are the Default Applications, im still confused on how to remove the Icon Folder/Mask to make all Icons Completely Default, though ive already changed the others
So It is a MIUI, ive personalized a theme to make it as Updated as Posible since the Xperia Theme Online is a 2.3.4 Default.
Im using a Xperia Home Launcher.
this is ALL MIUI but has a 80% Xperia Look, and based from Original Xperia, btw this is Turbo GE based.
as soon as i have permision from the Devs who originaly started the rom, and as soon as i get enough time and idea on how to make this a 99% Xperia, then id release it :good:
if anyone there knows more about enhancing the Xperia Theming Process, kindly message me, i need all the Help I could Get. im doing this for Fun and Satisfaction and Not for Credits.
Talking about Performance, TRUST ME your Plays gonna FLY! id make a Video Soon, i need Feedback 1st

I was reading the specs of that device and, well it is not a very powerful device either.
Also I was reading the post and it says that the rom runs smoothly in that Phone
and i was wondering how it would Run in ours.
~ Any answers are appreciated
Thanks.
My quick look at it is that it is a Gingerbread ROM. If someone wanted to spend the time, it could probably be made to work.
Big "if" on that one, in my opinion, for a GB ROM. There are already several solid, stable, and well-proven GB ROMs out there for the SGS4G.

GB roms are the funnest to modify (for this phone, anyways).

They are!, they're the most stable and well, battery Life is still the best on GB for this device in my opinion
Im gonna give it a try and see how hard is to port this to our devices Xp
Well, speaking of GB... I've started on yet another cleanup kernel, except this time I'm getting some help from jeffsf.
Gonna post something in development here soon.

[Q] Best standard 5.0 Rom?

HI everybody,
Apologies for the thread which might seem like I should have just searched... but I have spent hours reading through the development forum and I am non-the-wiser.
I have just come from a nexus 5, where I absolutely love lollipop. I am after a ROM that is very similar to the native nexus lollipop experience. I don't mind the odd customisation like more options on the power menu etc, or options that are at least not enabled by default, but CM has always been over the top and too complex for me.
Which ROM should I go for? The dev forum looks like a minefield!
Thanks
There's no such thing as a best ROM. The closest you're gonna get to a Nexus-like experience is the OnePlus aosp ROM, but I wouldn't suggest actually flashing that because it causes nothing but problems. Just try the official stock CM12 builds that have just come out.

CM is the least "custom option heavy" Roms you will find I think. Most of the rest add more customizations that are often very helpful.
I'm currently running temasek unofficial cm12 latest version. It's got extra features but your choice to use them or not. I don't make use of all of them either (like the gesture anywhere thing, or the circular app bar when you touch the right/left most side of the phone) but things like center clock mod are awesome to change the look of your phone. And quick pulldown.
I'll attach screen shots to show.
It also has a sick dark theme

MIUI 10 Port for S6

Hello dear xda Members and Devs!
I started this Thread, because of something very important: The development of a MIUI 10 Port for the S6!
A lot of people want a rom like this, but it seems that the fear of the unknown has taken over the minds of the devs, so I thought giving a bit of imput couldnt hurt.
To port MIUI roms is quite the hardest thing in the porting section, cause of the giant device differencens between Xiaomi and Samsung. But its not impossible!
I started already with the development of miui ports months ago, but It seems that this is not something I can do alone. I need your help!
So if you have some knowledge in this section(Porting/Analysing log files etc...) and some hours of free time, then please join our group to help the development of a miui port!
Thx

Can not I have a beta tester without a phone number? 참고로 전 영어 못하는 한국인입니다. For reference, I am a Korean who can not speak English.
Hey!
I'm doing my own MIUI 10 port for my S6.
My approach, however, is by building a LineageOS 14.1 (7.1.2) base, and then porting the Mi 5c's firmware (MIUI 10, Android 7.1.2).
LO 14.1 is the most stable from what I've seen, but probably the longest to build and download the source.
Wish you luck! :fingers-crossed:
Good evening, I'm waiting for the miui firmware. When will you release it ????
