Hello Xda,
About 3 days ago i read on the web that CyanogenMod has become an original company (CyanogenMod Inc) they reached 7 Million and now they want to do something which is really amazing.
So what i actually mean is that CyanogenMod Inc will bring us a one click installer for almost all devices (ONE NOTICE: DEVICES THAT ARE WITH A SPECIAL PROVIDER ARE NOT SUPPORTED!!!) With this installer you can simply install CyanogenMod software on any phone without going trough all the other steps.
Here are some pictures of the CyanogenMod Installer:

When will this be availble???
CyanogenMod told us in a couple of weeks (I WILL KEEP YOU GUYS UPDATED!)

I'd imagine that this would only work for officially supported devices and not unofficial, I don't see how this will work honestly unless it downloads your required ROM for your device?

Hi everyone!
The first release of the upcoming CM9 will be called #1 beta or #1 nightly - correct? Its the first time I've seen a non-manuf dev team come out w/ a rom before the manufacturers themselves come out w/ the OTA! Kudos to the CM team.
With that being said, some users are justified in being patient and sticking w/ the time-tested, stable and honored tradition of CM7 until their team releases CM9 w/ all the basic functionality we have come to expect.
I will be joining this group of users until then, and I advise you to do so as well to protect your Nexus from evil gremlins..

Hello guys, I'm a happy owner of a Desire HD and Galaxy S III. Every day I download different ROM for these smartphones, but most of the time it is impossible quickly download the ROM.
So I decided to create the website Androidrepository, a repository completely free where you can quickly download the ROM for all (or almost all) Android smartphones on the market.

The developers of the various ROM will have a personal account to upload their ROM; users can download at maximum speed rom for free and without long waiting times.
If you're a developer and you are interested in uploading your rom on this free service, please send your contact via PM, will be created in a short time a free account.
Tips and ideas are welcome.

Sounds good. Will it be free of charge (for us downloaders and/or uploaders) ?
For downloaders and uploaders
killer22, I can't help but wonder: what's in it for you? Why do the financial investment? You're hoping on add revenue or something?
Don't get me wrong I'd like the idea. It would be nice to have one day a system similar to the linux repositories.

Well sadly that mi4c and mi4s still got Lollipop, but who knows maybe we will get Marshmallow and they update their sources.
I hope so :|
but it's just announcement of Miui 8 ,not the actual android version
i dont think they are upgrading android version. if they are having planned to do so , they would have announced this during launch
arghh. we can dream on getting N already,
There is no chance if changing base. As far as the miui forum is concerned.. Nobody evn talks about any phone getting a base update. So all the phones will be on the same old base in miui 8.

Hello dear xda Members and Devs!
I started this Thread, because of something very important: The development of a MIUI 10 Port for the S6!
A lot of people want a rom like this, but it seems that the fear of the unknown has taken over the minds of the devs, so I thought giving a bit of imput couldnt hurt.
To port MIUI roms is quite the hardest thing in the porting section, cause of the giant device differencens between Xiaomi and Samsung. But its not impossible!
I started already with the development of miui ports months ago, but It seems that this is not something I can do alone. I need your help!
So if you have some knowledge in this section(Porting/Analysing log files etc...) and some hours of free time, then please join our group to help the development of a miui port!
Thx

Can not I have a beta tester without a phone number? 참고로 전 영어 못하는 한국인입니다. For reference, I am a Korean who can not speak English.
Hey!
I'm doing my own MIUI 10 port for my S6.
My approach, however, is by building a LineageOS 14.1 (7.1.2) base, and then porting the Mi 5c's firmware (MIUI 10, Android 7.1.2).
LO 14.1 is the most stable from what I've seen, but probably the longest to build and download the source.
Wish you luck! :fingers-crossed:
Good evening, I'm waiting for the miui firmware. When will you release it ????
