I was reading the specs of that device and, well it is not a very powerful device either.
Also I was reading the post and it says that the rom runs smoothly in that Phone
and i was wondering how it would Run in ours.
~ Any answers are appreciated
Thanks.
My quick look at it is that it is a Gingerbread ROM. If someone wanted to spend the time, it could probably be made to work.
Big "if" on that one, in my opinion, for a GB ROM. There are already several solid, stable, and well-proven GB ROMs out there for the SGS4G.

GB roms are the funnest to modify (for this phone, anyways).

They are!, they're the most stable and well, battery Life is still the best on GB for this device in my opinion
Im gonna give it a try and see how hard is to port this to our devices Xp
Well, speaking of GB... I've started on yet another cleanup kernel, except this time I'm getting some help from jeffsf.
Gonna post something in development here soon.

Hi, im new to the captivate and i just flashed the serendipity rom onto my phone, and it's awesome, im going to try out some other roms and i was wondering what you guys would suggest, also, how do i make my lock screen like this, cause it's awesome. and i had it on my xperia, sooo awesome.
also this dialer
MOD EDIT: Removing nude pictures
the only ROM's that support that double lockscreen (that I know of) is cyanogenmod (or any heavily modified AOSP I suppose). and the rest of that theme looks like it was designed for an AOSP-style ROM as well.

Isn't there an app that gives you that lockscreen...WidgetLocker or something?
Yes widget locker is what you are looking for. It is in the market
Thanks you guys, this is a great alternative, how ever built into the rom it runs much smoother. For now ill run widget locker, there doesn't appear to be a cyanogen rom yet that has everything working. so il wait

I was busy last night experimenting with a possible new look for TigerBlood. This one looks promising but I am somewhat worried that it will stray pretty far from the Bi-Winning Redux look. What do you guys think? Do you want a makeover?
Doesn't look bad. I am a color person myself.

I say make this into a theme for either KJ2 or KG2 and then take it from there(meaning, release as stock themed and/or make it its own ROM). That's just my opinion, though.
There's already too many ROMs based on KG2/KJ2 with just different skins/apps/themes etc - basicly they are all the same, so are we really need another one? That's only my opinion, of course. I'm waiting for Bhundven's release.

Yeah, skip it. I'll make it into a theme. I did make a discovery just now.
I took the firmware from the Epic 4G CM 6.2 rom and I'm currently using it on my Epic SK4G rom.
Just thought you all should know that it's working flawlessly.
EDIT: I wonder if I can use the entire rom with the Bali kernel? Hmmm.

My dude, post in the right section.
Which would be general.
Can TWRP 2.x, specifically 2.5 since its the latest, be compiled for the glacier/myTouch 4g? if so, is there any reason it hasn't been? since 4ext is old now (runs like a champ, but still), and realistically the 4ext guy might not continue support for it going forward with his upcoming rebuild of 4ext.
The TWRP team says they're "interested" in the device anyway...and their code is open.
I'm potentially willing to try doing it myself, but i'd have to set up an environment and all that. it'd be easier if a dev who has it all set up to make it (not trying to add to their workload or anything, just being realistic)

Why do you care how new the recovery is? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I am pretty sure i am still rocking RC3. Flashes roms just fine

Okay people i was just browsing around the forum and found these roms to be quiet good in their themeing. So i just ported them to our pico.
Don't flame me saying that there are too many sense 4 threads. But this thread is different. In future i'm planning to port more roms and those roms will appear in this thread.

No bro,Thank you for your roms.I will make this thread more beautiful in a few days but now i'm busy.
Is it possible to port kitkat from One mini? The same hardware phone with the exception of resolution.
@Modding.MyMind
Oh yes it is, but the only thing is we do not have an active kernel dev.....that's the most important thing when porting is complete.....without kernel port also, the ROM might be a perfect port but the the kernel will not allow it to boot or connect data or bla bla bla....
Totally possible port, if we had a kernel developer that didn't have a real life with school, work, ladies.....Lol
Kernel is the same for both devices. Some config files differ and a few drivers. The most important thing is a right ramdisk.Thats all what we need.

Definitely possible if provided with the proper kernel. Only problem is the resolution. Would require going through all the apps and a lot of files and then resizing them for our resolution. That can take a very long time to do.
I dont agree. We could stay on our sense 5. And edit new kernel only.Maybe resize a few files in /APP
I think its not difficult to make it.
Cause we dont get KitKat its only one and simple variant to make it.

I don't think he was talking about doing it himself, but in general terms.
