Thanks for your reply, the ROM I flashed is from this link:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=27027809#post27027809
I can enter fastboot mode.
And have you tried flashing factory images ? My sd card got stuck once too from flashing and this was the only solution that worked...

Flashing factory images?Which type of images(I'm bad at this sorry >.<)
Okay, problem solved.Using the "ADB push" method will do.By following this guide:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1667929 Just simply push the ROM into the SD card through fastboot mod,and flash the ROM,then everythings work fine. The ROM I used is Nexus S original ROM download from net.

To be honest I'm not 100 % sure I followed the steps of the nexus hacks on how to root and now trying to backup stock.img and I can't boot into recovery.
OK so I'm pretty sure I do I did it in rom manger

Looks like you're having issues getting into the recovery. That screen isn't the recovery, and I've had it before.
A lot of times, when you root on a stock rom, the phone deletes clockwork and restores the old recovery. That might be why you're having issues with it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=895545
The second post on this thread describes how to make clockwork stick. You might need to make use of some adb commands OR get an app like Root Explorer.
1. Flash the recovery
2. Follow the instructions in the second post before rebooting your phone.
That should do it.

Actually it is. That's the stock recovery, but it's options are too limited which is why we use CWM.
Rest of your instructions should help the OP out though, good on that.

Just flash clockwork again and flash a non stock rom, or remove the file as described if u wanna stay stock.
Ya I think it was just freezing up got into recovery and installed new rom
I do thank everyone help

What is the reason for bootloop? I tried every possible solution and nothing is working. Does anyone have a problem with bootloop and still haven't fixed it. Every Rom I try to install either gets stuck on the loading screen on keeps on restarting. I locked and unlocked the bootloader and did all that. Still nothing. I tried installing the RUU and get the error 155 :[

Different ROMs will use different boot.img files for optimisations with said ROM. Just try flashing the boot.img for the ROM you're using and you should be good to go.

When you install via Odin and if the system will not boot, go in CWM and go on data reset and reboot.
In CWM go with Home and Power buttons.
This might help

You are using cwm recovery. You need to flash twrp recovery img using fastboot command: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
This recovery will allow you to mount usb

On your pc open the Rom zip and place the boot.img in the directory that you fastboot flash from. You need to fastboot flash the boot.img using the command: fastboot flash boot boot.img
Now reboot and it should work
