[BENCHMARKs] POST YOUR BENCHMARKS - Galaxy S Advance I9070 General

It is known that the usability of a ROM is much more than a few numbers and that some benchmarks can be well modded to give higher results. but then too, since there are some benchmarks with pretty consistent outcomes and *can* give an idea of how fast the phone is.
post the ROM and Governor you use.
am starting with mine.
ROM - PRADA ROM and Supressed ROM
Governor - Ondemand, performance

Quadrant score are buggy and untrustable and hence false one.
Code Aurora needs to refine the benchmarking logic

yup.... apparently, we can take advantage of a specific loophole to get much much higher results than the capability of the phone.
:highfive:

I did three tests of that benchmarks for each device of my Galaxy S family.
I9000 1x1,2 GHz OC, AOKP 4.1.2
Overall performance:
Quadrant 2.0: 1,5 – 1,7 k
Antutu 3.1.1: ~ 4 k
CF bench 1.2: not completed
Smartbench 2012: not completed
GPU performance:
NenaMark 2: 29 fps

Great App, I would recommend to have a parser in your app and have a custom screen for scores. But really it depends how you wrote the database at

[Q] (2d/3dgraphics) why MTK6575 > Adreno 200 > MTK6577(SGX531) (Antutu benhcmark)

[Q] (2d/3dgraphics) why MTK6575 > Adreno 200 > MTK6577(SGX531) (Antutu benhcmark)
I'm seeing some videos about china's phones with MTK6575 and MTK6577 processors:
They both uses PowerVRTM SGX Series5' GPUs(SGX531) (and i've heard MTK6575 may use SGX530 ultra, which is overclocked, i dont know if this is exactly what sgx531 means...)
But on ANTUTU benchmarks of phones with these processors i've seen some curious results:
MTK6577 has the lower results:
2d graphics: 296
3d graphics: 895
Android: 4.0.4
Even my Motorola Defy Mini(600 mhz + adreno 200) has higher results, MUCH HIGHER:
2d graphics: 405
3d graphics: 989
Android 2.3.6
In MTK6575:
2d: 181
3d graphics: 963(higher than MTK6577)
Android 4.0.3
In MTK6575:
2d: 317(higher than MTK6577)
3d graphics: 977(higher than MTK6577)
Android 4.0.4
But this one from a suspicious video which shows the results without the tests:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BykMTMEMU_c&feature=related
Any tip why?

here's my results

Benchmark results are heavily dependent on software - like what version of Android, what version of GPU drivers, what optimizations are present, etc. So you can't directly do benchmark comparison of different chipsets, running different versions of Androids and expect them to reflect their hardware power.

Oh, and android 4.0.4

The user with the biggest benchmark must reveal the secret!! :silly:
Here is my Quadrant Score. It isn't fair to compare with the p5210 though. I have a p5220 lte which has 2 GB of RAM instead of the 1GB that all the other members of the family have. That makes a big difference in performance.

[TWEAK] Trick to increase gaming perfomance

Hello everybody!
This is my second post here on XDA
Today I bring a good method to speed up performance in heavy games.......
— Apps —
• GLTools
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-gltools-1-29-t2828630
• CPU-Z
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cpuid.cpu_z
• Screen Shift
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sagar.screenshift2
— Tutorial —
Screen Shift
Open the APP and click in Cancel!! ( or if press OK will reboot )
And configurate like in this print!

}
More Settings >> Set on Boot
Mode during Call >> Always Custom Mode
Click OK and reboot
GL Tools
Wide System >> Activate this options
Optimize GLSL shaders √
Use Fake GPU / CPU Info √
SimpleMapBuffer Emulation √
Half Float Adreno texture hack √ ( if you GPU is Mali dont activate that )
Fix FBO attachment sizes √
Shader Retribute Reordering √
Now ,theres the important part!!
Go in CPU-Z and see what is you GPU Renderer is
Back to GLTools ,go to System Wide and under the Emulation options and go to Use a template
If your GPU is Adreno select Adreno 320
Mali select Mali 604
Select 1 CPU / 1GB RAM
You replace the GL_Renderer now of some theses with the referent GPU showed on CPU-Z
Mali GPU
Medium Quality — Mali-400
Low - Mali-300
Extremely Low - Mali-200
Adreno GPU
( Higly recommended for Moto G / E users )
Medium Quality — Adreno 250
Low Quality — Adreno 220
Extemely Low - Adreno 200
TEST AND GIVE ME FEEDBACK! :good:
Don't forget to thank me!!! :fingers-crossed:

Geekbench question

Can someone explain to me, how is possible note 4 have much higher score than note 20 ultra? My note 4 have single score 1076 and multi score 3489. When Note 20 ultra have Single about 800 and Multi 2700. What's wrong?
Thanks in advance.
What OS is the N4 running on?
What about the N20U?
Is all power management disabled on the N20?
You have run the CPU-benchmark on 2 devices which have different chipset hardware
Samsung Galaxy Note 4
Qualcomm APQ8084 Snapdragon 805 (28 nm)
Exynos 5433
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865+ (7 nm+) - USA
Exynos 990 (7 nm+) - Global
Like other CPU benchmarks, GeekBench 5 runs a series of tests on a CPU and times how long the CPU takes to complete the tasks. The quicker the CPU completes the tests, the higher the GeekBench score.
The tests are divided into three subsections:
Crypto Crypto workloads measure the cryptographic instruction performance of your computer by performing tasks that make heavy use of crypto instructions. While not all software uses crypto instructions, the software that does can benefit enormously from it.
Integer Integer workloads measure the integer instruction performance of your computer by performing processor-intensive tasks that make heavy use of integer instructions. All software makes heavy use of integer instructions, meaning a high integer score indicates good overall performance.
Floating Point Floating point workloads measure floating point performance by performing a variety of processor-intensive tasks that make heavy use of floating-point operations. While almost all software makes use of floating point instructions, floating point performance is especially important in video games, digital content creation, and high-performance computing applications.
OK...I will be more specific...
