I remember an option in Samsung phone, that if the sensor in the phone feel it's placed in a pocket it's going to sleep,
maybe the ear cover the sensor and then gonig to sleep,
search for this option, more probably within TouchWizz options.

I wiped everything, I installed ICS Xperia-ROM and now everything works fine. All ROMs I've installed based JB 4.1.2. I do the same mistake again, interrupting my calls. Why?

Hi,
I have have been using alpha4 and it works great for me, a couple of small things that need ironing out for sure but Im finding it VERY usable.
I would like to upgrade to alpha5 but I have spent a long time installing and configuring LauncherPro and I am wondering if I will loose all this.
Do I need to do a wipe and a fresh install to get 5 or do I just install over the top and will it keep my settings in place or not?

Just flash over alpha 4. no probs. I went from alpha 3 to 4 witch launcher pro and everythink was in place
Edit: sorry i thought you were talking about adw launcher. I would make a backup in every case because adw could replace your launcher pro settings.

Just upgrade and you won't have any problems, when you are working with CM you don;t have to worry because all apps ans setting are secured when you upgrade.
Are you getting 4G on CM7?

Backup your launcherpro settings in preferences it saves to SD card the only thing it doesnt restore is your Widgets.

Hi,
I fuond a bug (I'm not so sure it is a bug) in Gingerbread: my P920 stays on my bed and suddenly my phone play music... I don't lauch a music app (stock music app, or PowerAmp). I don't think this is normal

Well, I'm not stupid to ask for that... No one was calling, no music app was launched and no alarm - that is strange...

Ok we need more info about your phone, if you are on official ROM or a custom ROM
and what applications you use.
You could try rooting your phone if its not already rooted and install CWM .
After you install cwm take a backup and factory reset your phone.
Try it without any 3rd party apps for a day and see if it still "plays music on its own".
You could also try a v21E based Custom ROM and check if your phone still does that..
The problen is maybe with some app that you have installed.In the app manager look what applications are working in the background and you will find a cause of you problem...

I use stock 21e and is rooted... For back up and factory reset - don't try yet because I hope there's another way fix this problem, but I will try it. Thanks for help!

Did you have earphones plugged in at the time?
If you're cable is somewhat loose, it sometimes begins playing music as it does so by default when you plug in earphones.
For that there's an app: DisableAutoPlay which I used when getting that auto play.
I've got ics on soff desire s and can't use Bluetooth it searches but doesn't find anything and knowone can see me. Ive checked installed apps and nothing effects it.
Any suggestions?

Same issue
I am having the same issue. Not able to search for any device or anyone can see me. When I turn on bluetooth it turns on but not finding anything. Taken it to a service center, he suggested to revert the OS to 2.3 and check (not sure how to revert back to 2.3) if that is still not working then he would replace the hardware. Please suggest, is there anything I can do to fix the issue from OS level.
Note: My phone not rooted and installed official RUU update4.0 from HTC dev.
I've fixed my Bluetooth I reflashed the ruu.
I now run custom Rom and it works perfect.
It's just software so try flashing ics again

Which ROM did you install? I tried installing PACman and Viper ROM's but still the same issue. After multiple tries it will detect the bluetooth device but does not connect, now again if you try to search the same old story. Not sure if this is the hardware issue or software issue.

Tired different ROM's (Viper, JellyFirebean v2) some times it works and some time it does not. Seems to be some issue with the hardware will get it checked in Service center...may be later.
Hi everybody,
I'm kind of a silent user in this forum & never had an issue with my sensation 4g,but now, a weird problem happened when I tried to record a video,when I hit record ,the camera app just freezes & doesn't record a thing & all the onscreen buttons don't work ,also the back button doesn't work & to get out of the camera I have to hit home, I end up with a corrupt video file.
I've searched for a week but no luck & it really bugs me.
any help is appreciated.
I'm running Android revolution hd 6.6.2,ICS 4.0.3 ,Sense 3.6.

reflash your rom again with full wipe
do a nandroid backup first just in case
or if you have patience wait for someone else to provide you better solution
thanks ,that's what I was afraid of, it actually worked fine before & I don't know why it stopped working,I hate reflashing the rom cause all my business apps are on my phone now & it's pain setting up all those apps again,so I guess I'll wait for someone to come up with a fix.

3rd party apps do the same thing & honestly I can't find that NODGT mod ,searched for it but no luck,could you provide a link for its download if it's no trouble?

definitely not app conflict .. what i think is that drivers are corrupted ..thats why i asked you to run RUU and see

mine locks in seconds. I use Incubus' JellyWiz. The picture is from inside my house.....outside, I often lock onto 21 of 22 visible satellites.

Make sure you try the stock trick. I flashed a Rom once that borked my GPS. The solution is to flash back to stock. Reroot and flash a new Rom. Every Rom since has worked great, it was just one bad one.

Odin back to stock via a full wipe version and flash rom of choice...gps works on every rom i have tried.

Navigate to my guide in the dev section...follow section 5! FULL WIPE is recomended.
oddly enough, I am only able to get a satellite fix by unchecking "Wi-Fi & mobile network location" and only using the GPS satellites.
Have you tried that?
