Hi everybody,
I'm kind of a silent user in this forum & never had an issue with my sensation 4g,but now, a weird problem happened when I tried to record a video,when I hit record ,the camera app just freezes & doesn't record a thing & all the onscreen buttons don't work ,also the back button doesn't work & to get out of the camera I have to hit home, I end up with a corrupt video file.
I've searched for a week but no luck & it really bugs me.
any help is appreciated.
I'm running Android revolution hd 6.6.2,ICS 4.0.3 ,Sense 3.6.

just wiped Cache+dalvic,didn't help .
hmm... only one thing i can tell you now
reflash your rom again with full wipe
do a nandroid backup first just in case
or if you have patience wait for someone else to provide you better solution
thanks ,that's what I was afraid of, it actually worked fine before & I don't know why it stopped working,I hate reflashing the rom cause all my business apps are on my phone now & it's pain setting up all those apps again,so I guess I'll wait for someone to come up with a fix.

yeah i know it is a pain to set up your device all over again. i was in that situation twice

What about 3rd party camera apps? Is video working on them?

3rd party apps do the same thing & honestly I can't find that NODGT mod ,searched for it but no luck,could you provide a link for its download if it's no trouble?

definitely not app conflict .. what i think is that drivers are corrupted ..thats why i asked you to run RUU and see

Just tried with the stock kit does not work nothing happen. Maybe I did something wrong will try again tomorrow.
Edit: I guess I missed the part about mounting the system. No lock ring at all had to restore system.

Do you have a custom ROM installed or the Stock one?? Had the same, when I tried to flash a ring from a Stock ROM ring..

I uploaded one, which is customized to your ROM... as it seems, it doesn't work with a every Stock ROM, because the files are named differently on every System.. I'd be happy if you could tell me if this package worked for you.. Thanks

Guys, i restored the Virtuous unity ROM, and i just installed a new ROM, but sadly, i didn't like it. Now i want to restore back to the Virtuous Unity ROM.. What do i have to do before doing a restore? Do i have to wipe all data, cache partition, before restoring? Or just restore it when going to the recovery?
Simply restore, no need for any wipe, as default restore will bring back all partitions

I'll be honest I don't use the camera that often do haven't root noticed , I rarely used my phone one, the wife is the camera owner and is usually to hand to take snaps if and when needed

Can you check man? I just wanna make sure the problem is not my phone. Is your camera the same as the video i posted? Or is it clear, no jagged lines?
I do flash & restore operations pretty often. I noticed restoration doesn't really need a prior wipe in 99.9% of cases. Virtuous ROMs don't follow that rule on my DS. Unfortunately, my download speeds hover between 3kb/s & 8kb/s so I don't get to try out things nearly as often as many guys do.
I'm running coindroid 1.1.0 its great but suddenly my sensation start to restart when I receive a call or try to make a call and it keep restart on its own what's the reason ? And what should I do ?

Hi,
Maybe it's a rogue mod.
Try reflashing the ROM only.
This will keep your apps,data,and settings,but clear out all your mods.
Try it like that for a while,and see.
I don't know it is working good now but it suddenly stops and begin to restart thnx anyway dude ^_^

If you do reflash, and set up your Google account, be sure to unclick the automatic backup. Otherwise it will download all your apps from google play again. Just to keep you from accidentally running an app which might be causing part of the problem
Hello guys I've a problem with the Dialer, when I want to call a company and they gave me some options like press 1 to sales and press 2 to help or press # to go back etc... before I made update for a custom rom was working but now it's not working I press and I hear the button pressed but doesn't go anywhere. can any one help me on that.
Views: 61 and no one helped me out.
What rom are you running? I had this problem when i was running the Indian rom. Give some more info on the rom that you are on and i might be able to help you.

Well I use MERetail-MEARET rom.
I have not flashed this rom yet. To tell you the truth i did not know it was available to flash until a minute ago. I had not been checking that part of the dev section lately. I'm downloading that rom now and i will flash it later this evening when i get some free time to see what is going on with the dialer, plus i haven't tried that rom yet and it will give me a new toy to play with for a little bit. Like i said before i had this problem with the Indian rom and it bugged the hell out of me. Give me some time and ill get back to you on this later tonight or tomorrow.

Not going to flash today. I got busy with life and good weather outside. If you are having that big of issues with it go back to stock or maybe someone else can help. Sorry i couldn't help just got to busy and don't have the time to flash a rom right now. Once i do i will work on it then post it if i figure out anything.

Alright it's fine I just hoped you can do it today and tell me what you've done on the Indian rom maybe it's same issue. untill you flash that rom and have some time for this.
Tried to get the dialer problem fixed and this is above my knowledge. Since no one else has replied your best bet would be to go back to stock or flash another rom where the dial pad is not a problem. Sorry i tried, it's just beyond me.

what's news about this problem?
Have you tried flashing a different ROM, as suggested? Seems like something went awry with your download and/or flashing. Searched this ROM in the forum for like or otehr issues users have found?

it's a bug of that rom. Try another. no fix unless you know how to replace the dialer.

Is it just an issue with the dialer .apk file, and if so why not mod the rom by using another rom's dialer. apk? I'm not even sure if the dialer and phone. apk's are able to be swapped, as they may be too deeply integrated within the A2's framework. Sorta beyond my knowledge base.

to be honest i dont kno. i got a zip file that said infuse root.zip. and erecovery, followed the steps on youtube and i was pleased to see the superuser app on my phone. but since then till now i cant play vids off the net and when i answer my phone or make a call the other person and myself hera absolutely nothing

I checked out qbkings videos and they are all a year old I would suggest checking out this thread its got the easiest method I think to get rooted and cwm recovery included plus it will help you out if you ever get in a jam be sure to read read read
