EA Games won't download additionalndata

Hi all I have Chainfire downloaded and am rooted. A lot of games do work and I'm pleased however I downloaded NFS Hot Pursuit and Madden 2012 and they install fine. However they hang up when attempting to download the extra data. Others download their data fine. EA server? Or something on my end.

Maybe it's EA sever not recognizing our device. Try copy the data from a SGS2...

OK well I have the atrix and tried to side load but couldn't even find the. Apk file. Its not with the other apps. I'll keep hunting. Plays great on my 4 inch atrix lol

Well I found the. Apk and sideloqded it but still wouldn't download the additional data. Maybe I don't understand. Would moving these from a SGS2 be better than an atrix? And why. I figured phone apks were all the same.

You were trying to copy the .apk, not the data. You need to copy the downloaded game data from another phone and put it in the internal memory of the tablet. You could try pulling the data off of the SD card of the Atrix. That might work, although the SGSII would be the surer bet because it has a similar hardware profile to the 7.0 Plus.

Probably a dumb question, but how do I copy the data?
I am having the same exact issue. I'm rooted with chainfire and nvidia plugin. I was able to Install NFS Shift, but it gets hung up when trying to download the additiknal data. I tried to restorr App and Data from a TiBackup off my SGS2, but it still tries to install the additional data and freezes.

Has anyone got Desert Winds running?

Not been able to get it to work myself, i get "failed to connect to resource server"
Anyone had any joy?

Angry birds space

I downloaded angry birds space but it loads up but gets stuck at the menu is anyone else having this problem?

Yeah. I don't think it can run on our phone very well. The only Angry Bird game that could play was that modified one that was posted a long time ago.

Does anyone know where to find the really old one that doesn't lag on the Hero?

I have it, but dont know where i found that one lol. All i can say is that it still lags a bit.

I remember getting one from GetJar or something a long time ago. I have an Angry Birds apk on my 4shared that I don't remember putting there, I guess it might be that one. I'll try it later.

my phone can't play it too

Here is the old version that doesn't lag really badly on the Hero. It's 1.3.5. I think it works better in airplane mode because of the ads. This is the one without the background and the ground colored.

I got to the point where I couldn't reliably run anything. The Hero is a really great phone, but that ship has sailed.

problem w games

Hi, Ive done my share of ROM switching recently and one problem i have is with restoring in-app downloads on a new ROM. Games like Shadowgun keep asking me to redownload the inapp game files 250 even though i had done that on another ROM and im sure the file is still saved somewhere on my sd because i never removed it. I Dont want to redownload because i pay a lot for the extra gb i download from my home connection.
another game, real racing asks me to buy the app even though i had done so before on the absolution rom. I pressed the buy game button from the app to see what will happen and it just linked to a page in the playstore that eventually told me what i already knew ... that i had already bought the app. so i go back to the game hoping the issue is solved and instead i still can not continue the game because it thinks i have to buy it. so. .. I'm stuck. .. can't play without buying and can't buy it again ( not saying that i want to or should have to) because it says i already bought it :s

Don't know if this helps, but uave you tried clearing the cache from the store? Reboot after just in case.

The darkknight rises gameloft wapshop unstable network

I bought tdkr from gameloft wapshop but i cant download additional data because it say my network is unstable, i also try with wifi but still the same. I already contacted gameloft cc, but they said its because of my network. So i try to get an answer from my operator, my operator said my 3g is ok, no problem at all.
So any1 have the same problem? Please help me. Sorry for my bad english.

I think you need wifi not 3g to download the files they are big unless you have unlimited data plan
You can visit any place that offer free wifi as Starbucks or Mcdonalds or even your friend to try to download data files

Finally i got this game to work, ive change my build.prop to p1000.
I can download sd data without any problem, i wonder why it dosent work with my original build.prop.
Its time to save GOTHAM city. Lol.

Gameloft does not allow certain devices to download their games-most probably the asian versions.
I could not download data for asphalt 7.

Contact gameloft customer care and if you lucky they will give you a free game of your choice. you need to give them your purchase proof.
