I downloaded angry birds space but it loads up but gets stuck at the menu is anyone else having this problem?
Yeah. I don't think it can run on our phone very well. The only Angry Bird game that could play was that modified one that was posted a long time ago.
Does anyone know where to find the really old one that doesn't lag on the Hero?
I have it, but dont know where i found that one lol. All i can say is that it still lags a bit.
I remember getting one from GetJar or something a long time ago. I have an Angry Birds apk on my 4shared that I don't remember putting there, I guess it might be that one. I'll try it later.

Here is the old version that doesn't lag really badly on the Hero. It's 1.3.5. I think it works better in airplane mode because of the ads. This is the one without the background and the ground colored.

I got to the point where I couldn't reliably run anything. The Hero is a really great phone, but that ship has sailed.

So I have been searching to figure out a reason behind this but I cant find anything. I have a Captivate that is running the Voodoo LagFix kernel. I just went to check and noticed in my Notifications that there were like 3 unsucessful downloads that I never downloaded! I dont know where they came from and they are nothing I would want to download. At the moment there is Galactic Core Donation, chompSMS, USAA Mobile, and City at Night Live Wallpaper that are downloaded unsucessfully that I never downloaded.
Any ideas why this could be happening. This isnt the first time I have seen it but this is the most I have seen. I have seen it happen once or twice before with only one or two apps. Then again I have only had the phone for a week or so. Let me know if there is any other info that you guys need or if a certain app I have would cause this. Im stumped and need help.

Could someone please point me to some info on how to remove apps from a stock build?
I have an old Motorola Cliq laying around that I want to give to my 2 year old so that he can basically use it as a dedicated Angry Birds device.
I applied the 2.1 upgrade yesterday and it delivered a whole lot of suck. The phone is slower than ever. I tried loading up the Angry Birds seasons on it, but it just crashes.
My thoughts are to remove anything and everything that I possibly can to get this thing to run Angry Birds as smoothly as possible. I'd also like to remove the modem and dialer if possible.
Any kicks in the right direction are greatly appreciatted.
Can't post a link yet, but search google for "barebones cyanogenmod wiki" and follow the steps there for removing apps. Worked for me.

Okay, so I'm tryin to use psx4droid and everythiing seemed to be working fine. I loaded up the correct BIOS and converted all the games to .bin from .ecm and such. Except when iclick the game to start it, the screen flashes and goes back to the selecting screen. SO. My question is, "is psx4droid incompatible with the mt4gs or am I doing something wrong" if u have gotten this problem solved somehow, please, enlighten me. I researched throughout different forums and I do the exact same thing they do. Except they get it to work.

Essentially, this. With PSX4Droid, I couldn't even make it past the bios. I tried 1000, 1001, and 7502 (I only got it to play Legend of Dragoon, one of my favorite games of my childhood that, tbqh, I never beat D. Not a single one.
Gave FPse a try, and bam! It's booting, and because I'm running CM7, I'm playing with a classic controller (Wii) and it's great. Only issue is that the phone actually does heat up a bit, a reason for which I plan to buy another battery that's less hot.
Sound emulates mostly good with minor stuttering here and there, and no chokes on what was a game released near the end of the PS's lifespan.
Hi, Ive done my share of ROM switching recently and one problem i have is with restoring in-app downloads on a new ROM. Games like Shadowgun keep asking me to redownload the inapp game files 250 even though i had done that on another ROM and im sure the file is still saved somewhere on my sd because i never removed it. I Dont want to redownload because i pay a lot for the extra gb i download from my home connection.
another game, real racing asks me to buy the app even though i had done so before on the absolution rom. I pressed the buy game button from the app to see what will happen and it just linked to a page in the playstore that eventually told me what i already knew ... that i had already bought the app. so i go back to the game hoping the issue is solved and instead i still can not continue the game because it thinks i have to buy it. so. .. I'm stuck. .. can't play without buying and can't buy it again ( not saying that i want to or should have to) because it says i already bought it :s

Don't know if this helps, but uave you tried clearing the cache from the store? Reboot after just in case.

Okay I hope I'm doing this right this is the first time I've been on a place like this so I hope I don't piss anyone off but I'm having issues with my phone I'm sick of my phone is slower than s*** it seems like it locked up for I'll be playing a game in it locked up or freezes or whatever you call it or it'll drop the game and I'll go back to the menu or whatever it is I'll be off the game completely this phone just sucks and it gets hot so is there any way that I can fix these issues and makes make this phone better cuz I like this phone it just has all these issues so is anybody out there can help me I really would appreciate any advice or anything anybody could tell me thanks [emoji34]
