Stuck in boot loop after repartitioning. - Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

Hi,
I was having wifi issues after flashing multiple stock roms, and kernels. So, in a fit, I decided to repartition and start fresh. I know, it wasn't my brightest moment. Any way, the thing is, all the roms that I have, comes with only the pda file.
Now, I need any stock firmware with modem and csc files, so that I can get my phone back. Any firmware that comes with these two files will do. I can't download multiple firmware to check as my connection speed is 256 kbps only. I would prefer if someone can help me get these files.
Also, if someone can tell me, whether I will need a new bootloader too? If yes, then where can I find the same.
Many thanks!!!

XXKPE comes with all the files. Use that.

Thanks a lot, buddy. Will download it and check it out. Hopefully wifi works after this, or else I will be screwed. Just got my warranty expired too.

Yay! My phone is back to stock, and wifi works too.:victory: Mods, please close this thread.

need the stock firmware for my sgh-t959v

i was really really stupid and decided to try and install darky's resurrected rom on my new sgh-t959v. After doing it and it not going past the 'installing csc' prompt i decided to try and mount a different pit. i got a working setup out of luck, but now my sim card doesn't work. i got a new sim card and still no signal. i only managed to write down the baseband version before messing it up like this. now that i've read that mixing a pit file from one region with a csc file from another is dangerous. i just need the stock pit csc and phone files. it's been driving me nuts because i just got this phone and all of a sudden can't use it. i've learned my lesson but i really need to fix it. i don't think darky's will work on mine since it's so new.
btw i found the source for my phone,(can't put link here because i don't have over 8 posts) my model and version are listed there. the only problem is i'm a noob at developing(getting into it) and can't compile all this stuff. is there a guide to compiling it? i was hoping to compile the source from that site and try to port it. how would i go about making the source into the pit csc and modem files?
sorry for such a ****ty problems guys. hope someone can help thanks in advance.
super buuuuump!!!
bump, i want my foooone herpaderp!
what's the difference between pit files that are 512, 803, 513? what's this number represent?
so i just tried to flash some other 'custom' rom that was perfect for my phone. i tried it with a different pit file that i thought would work. but now the device doesn't respond to anything! i turned it off and it won't turn on at all now not even to download mode. i'm freaking out what do i do!!!
welp i didn't want to wait. just to update everyone i took it to a local tech who flashed it to stock but couldn't fix the fudged bootloader. i messed it up when it failed a rom flash and i pulled it out in the middle of flashing. so i'm sending it back and getting another one by tuesday
yes, i need it too.
Same problem, anyway know where download this firmware???
No Custom ROM
A word to the wise: The Samsung sgh-t959v for t-mobile does not allow you to put a custom ROM. If anyone knows how to, please advice. I have a new sgh-t959v and don't want to make the same mistake of bricking it where "adb reboot download" command didn't even work because the phone died.

Back to stock - Issues.

I have a I9020T, I was on CM7, Oxygen etc.. for the last few months. But i had some stability issues, SOD's , reboots, freezes etc.
So i thought I'll go back to good old stock. i downloaded the stock rom's from the general section, and flashed them
Now i notice that i lose signals, phone's display is messed up during incoming calls( I can only see the the status bar, Below that everything is black, But i could just answer the calls by swiping the screen), Losing signal happens almost every alternate day.
So all i wanna know is, Are all these known bugs or is my phone screwed up due to too much flashing?
I am totally unrooted now.... I wiped everything including sd card and have tried atleast 3 different stock roms already.
Anyone else having these issues? Any solutions or fixes.
Hi,
Have you already try ODIN ?
He's able to put your device as it was before all changes.

I thought odin was not safe? That's a last option right because its the same as flashing the stock rom through recovery?
I've already use it a lot of time. I was using it on my spica by thé past.
With thé good files and the good tuto it might work.
Here, in France, we use Odin to restore a clean phone.
If you decided tu use it, you will put your device like ait was new . And you will have to flash thé recovery and root him.
I late you search for some comments from over users.

can you supply links for the nessesary files for i9020t???
I'll find the folder to download here (need to register for DL) : http://www.samfirmware.com/mobile.htm
I'm looking for link for ODIN download.
I just talk about a way to might resolve some issue, use it a your own risks.
Be careful with your device version. Save your data (SMS, Pictures, Music...)
Using Odin shouldn't remove data from "SD CARD" but might be safe...
Edit : The link of download ODIN is in the same line. (FLASHER).

Can you give me link of proper instructions for ODIN, I searched here and the thread in Android development doesn't seem to have the necessary files for I9020T.
I don't know what kind of difference there is between i9020 A and i9020 T.
I'm running a i9023.
In the website I'd give the link, you'll find a FlashGuide with explain what is necessary to do in order to use Odin.
If you register there, you'll able to download the guide and more informations about the way to use.
I can't give you more answers, sorry.
Try Matr1x v11.0 CFS ;D
Do you think i9023 & i9020T are running the same build ?
I wonder.
Because, I've just get a look on the following thread and the two devices seems to work with the same baseband.
Look here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056062
I let you wait for another feedback from users. I just should want to give a way.
I hope you'll manage to get back to Stock.

[ROM][ODIN] P500VPBMB3 Sprint 4.1.2 Firmware

P500VPBMB3 Sprint 4.1.2 Firmware
For some unusual reason there is little to no development for the SPH-P500 and absolutely ZERO official firmware available for the Sprint model. This means, if you soft brick the tablet trying to install something you should not have, you have no easy way of getting back to the stock firmware. In addition, getting to the 4.1.2 version of the firmware is a royal pain due to the massive amount of "PATCH CHECKS" and assert checks built in to the OTA update. This means any deodexed system or a number of other reasons will be rejected if you try the OTA update while on non-official or approved firmware. So, for your convenience, I have compiled a simple ODIN-Flashable TAR file which will jet you up to speed installing the latest official Sprint 4.1.2 firmware.
Details:
P500VPBMB3 Stock w/ MB3 Modem
Package Includes: BOOT, RECOVERY, SYSTEM, MODEM AND CACHE ZONES
Download:
P500VPBMB3 Sprint 4.1.2 Firmware
Password on the archive is: www.mobiletechvideos.com
How To Flash:
BACKUP YOUR FILES AND DATA BEFORE FLASHING...ALWAYS. First extract this file using WinRAR or a program capable of extracting a RAR package as the package inside it is the TAR file you need. This was done to save time on the download. Once extracted, using ODIN, select PDA and choose this file. Now place your tablet in DOWNLOAD MODE by having it powered off, then power on by holding POWER and VOLUME DOWN until you see the on-screen text come up. Release the buttons and press VOLUME UP to enter DOWNLOAD MODE. Now click START on ODIN. Once completed (takes around 10 minutes), it is advised to enter RECOVERY MODE and perform a FACTORY DATA RESET for the best bug free experience since I don't know what ROM you are flashing from.
Did this help you out? Great, I'm glad it did! Click that THANKS button next to my name if you have the time. Please note, if you find yourself in a hard/soft brick situation of any type on any advice, give me a shout via PM or email through the contact page on our site. We also offer repairs on a number of other issues.
27 downloads and nothing? I'd love some feedback so others can be confident in the firmware.
It´s a disease from all P31XX and P51XX useres don´t hitting the thanks button and don´t giveing feedback... maybe they don´t want any support.... (?)...
i don´t have a P51XX - i can´t give other feddback then this... sorry....
Haha it seems that way! Well thanks for your response. Nice to hear from somebody about this. For some reason the Tab 2 10.1 forum members seem to be dead but want development anyhow without any input!
There are a lot of people here in a german forum there is mostly nobody ...
i hope you get some feedback! if not: there is not problem first things that will reported are problems
Haha, how true! No news is good news right?
problem and feedback if it works...
Hi. I am pretty new here (although I have been a member for a while, I have not really been active). I do have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1 inch display model P500VPBMB3. Perhaps I can try out what you are talking about if it helps me with my problem below and then I will be more than happy to give you feedback.
PROBLEM
I never really rooted a device before but I am at a loss here since the current version of Android that I have on my device is 4.1.2 . It's working OK but I run out of space very often since I only have 16GB of main memory. I would love to upgrade to 4.2.x so that I have the option of storing apps on the external SD card. I am not clear exactly what you are giving us here on your thread. If you can explain it to me and especially if it does what I am outlining above I would want done, I would love to give it a shot and then give you some feedback.
Either way thank you for helping is Sprint tablet people whether or not what you have above will help me.
Thanks

You will actually want to look into custom recovery combined with a custom ROM to enable this type of option. What I have provided here is a stock firmware (stock operating system). This is actually already what you have installed on the device.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. You seem to be a helpful sort of person. I am sorry to be so dense but I have no idea what those things are. Is there a place where I can, sort of begin from scratch to learn all about these things or can you please fully explain what I need to do here?
I get that yo said that what you are offering is what I already have. What I don't understand is what exactly what to look for. I do know that if I install the wrong thing, I can brick my device. What I don't know if how to find what I am looking for. I already tried it in the search box-that's how I got to your thread.
This is honestly a very tough section as the P500 is a rare unit that has little to no development. You are in the right sub-forum but finding any mods for your unit may not be possible at this time unfortunately.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! You can root with Kingo root and make modifications with xposed. I just have been so busy with work.
I will flash this when I have time. Now I can be more risky with flashing because I can now go back to stock ROM.

Hello, I know its been almost a year, but I tried to flash this ROM and get stuck after the tab reboots with the message "POWER RESET or UNKNOWN UPLOAD MODE", is there anything I can do to restore the tab (I did not do any backup).
Thanks a bunch
Do you have the Sprint model? If so, try re-downloading it and flashing again. Afterwards, perform a factory data reset.

The tab comes from China but in the options i've seen SPH-P500 so I supposed it was a model made for Sprint.
I did flash again and reset factory but nothing changed.

That is definitely unusual though the fact it came from China. This likely is NOT the right firmware for your model. The back of the unit should have the model number. See what it says...

Wow!! I made a mistake!! I bought this tab to have some fun rooting and installing custom roms. I should have checked the forums first to see if there was any support. Thanks for what you've provided here. I'm going to at least try to root and install xposed.
I have a sprint gtab2 10.1 that's out of contract, so i'm willing to start working on things if needed.
if we no longer need to use the Sprint data can we flash a SPH-P5100 rom for wifi only ?
resurrecting an old thread. Need to find the original firmware for sph-p500. This appears to be it, but I can't find or get the password to the .rar file. I can't find the firmware anywhere else after a TON of google searches. any help appreciated in either getting the password to the .rar file, or a different place to download the firmware.

Odin problem cant downgrade help please

Im on 6.0.1 and i do not like it at all. Always been a fan of 5.1.1. I use odin to attempt a downgrade and it fails. Gives me the SW check, fail error every time. Also when i used flashfire itd work throughly and show the note 5 boot logo but thatd be all. Any help for me here? Really wanna go back to 5.1.1. Was able to get back on a rom and here i am. Hopefully someone can help me here.
If someone has a way to do this
If someone has any insight and links files to do this, please help me. Have not had a sammy since the note 2 so some of this is kinda new for me. Reason for wamtomg lollipop is i love lollipop over MM. Plus more rom options.
I had a similar problem. Rooted, could flash custom ROM's but couldn't ODIN flash back to stock. Found if I used the PAC from this site http://dl.samfirm.net/page/2 I could muscle through the flash. The PAC forced the PIT file, which formats the memory, unlike what recovery can do. Be sure all your files are backed-up because this will erase everything nd return your phone to stock (except knox).
They may charge a few dollars to download, but well worth it in my experience.

Question Would Flashing A Different Model's PIT + Firmware Result In Hardbrick?

Exactly as the title asks.
I'm trying my A536W bootloader-unlocking guide myself since there weren't any volunteers, and the A536B BTB firmware keeps giving me "FAIL" in ODIN regardless of whether I use PatcheD/original and no matter what version I try with. I tried with binary 4 (which is matching with my phone's current software) and binary 5, but neither seem to work. Doesn't matter whether I pick CSC or HOME_CSC, either, unfortunately.
The only option left that I can think of would be to re-partition and erase NAND while flashing the A536B's firmware along with its extracted PIT file. Anybody have any suggestions or warnings or anything? All help will be greatly appreciated.

I looked around online and some people seem to have done it and gotten away with a softbrick, though. I've found that even guides only mention a softbrick as the worst that can happen. Are you certain that it will hardbrick? Or are you speculating? I don't mean to doubt you: I just want to try what I can to unlock the A536W, and if this could be a method with a softbrick being the worst-case scenario, then I'd like to try it at some point
A PIT flash from 536E to 536B was my only remaining option for converting the phone (which are completely identical). Just like you, i needed confirmation that it was done or that it works, except for a dude here who shadily said "it works", i havent found any information at all that it would.
My two cents would be to leave it and make peace, not worth the risk. In case you do, let us know though.
PS, i think the Patched Odin would be needed here as well.

I did try it out, and it didn't work: patched or unpatched, ODIN wouldn't send it through and would either hang or return with some sort of error message. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to force it, either. Even NAND erase and re-partitioning wouldn't work in giving me some headway. I tried Frankenstein-ing different firmware files (even AP and BL from Bmodel while CP and CSC from Wmodel) and PITs, but still no dice. Even tried to flash the Korean version, which is identical spec-wise to the Wmodel besides bands (Bmodel differs in that it has dualSIM), but it still didn't work, sadly. Also tried the same binary-number (4) or going to 5. Still wouldn't budge. Seems my phone will literally only accept the firmware it was designed for, which sucks.
I appreciate your suggestions, though! If you have any ideas as to what else I should try, let me know, please! Maybe I have to change CSC to match whatever firmware I'm flashing first? But that's the job of the CSC file itself, right? Maybe it was just a wild goose-chase, but I hope something's figured out soon
Honestly you had the guts to try more than i would, so nothing i can add. I thought first that my E variant was failing because it's an 8GB variant, but that wouldn't really be logical. Samsung made them unswitchable.
Cant think of an idea except messaging the SamFirm tool guys if they could make it happen somehow, but some of us are keen to keeping the KNOX depending services in tact.

Still, I appreciate the sentiment! It was a bit nerve-wracking, but I had a feeling it'd end up alright (which I'm quite glad was correct considering how much this phone costed me). Who're the "SamFirm Tool Guys"? Is there a way I can get in contact with them? Maybe if we can work out a method that removes KNOX, somebody like-minded will find a method that keeps those services?

I meant this one sorry. They managed to pull that CSC change when all the other apps are asking for money, and a lot easier too.
They look like the only bunch capable of doing it, but i highly doubt there's demand for it.

Got it! I'll look around and maybe try to reflash but with a CSC change first when I have the time to mess around again. I'll also try contacting them. Maybe they've already cracked a similar situation and we've just gotta apply it to our device? Or perhaps it's a lot easier than we think it is and the solution's been right under our noses? I hope so, at least. Thanks again. It's much appreciated
