Hi there
Is any dev working on this?
The sg note2 is able to do this, so i say rewrite that rom and make it compatible for tf300 :silly:
Or use original rom and fix the framework thingy lol
I know there is an cornerstone version of cyanogenmod 9 that is able to do this, only it doesn't work for me because i'm on jb allready.
Would be great if the tf300t is able to do this.
Thanks

Hi Guys
I'm new at this hope you can help. I have the Asus TF300T and it is unlooked, rooted, and TWRP 2.2 recovery. (I have done a lot of reading the last few months) I am running the latest version of Jellybean from ASus which you guys call stock i believe. I would now like to have his extended power menu. But I don"t know how to do it. I also don't know if i need odex or deodex. And does that still enable me to keep the Asus version of Jellybean on my tablet or due I need mod version.
Hope someone can help
Thanks in advance
Linda

You actually got the right area, and here are your answers...
First, how to do it - remember how you flashed in root? Do the same thing with this zip.
Do you need odex or deodex? By default the stock ROM is odex, so that's what you want.
Finally, you keep the same ROM you're using. This is just a tiny mod to it.
I'm running this myself and love it.

Hello, I just rooted my Samsung galaxy note 10.1 gt-8013 running jelly bean. for the first time a few days ago. It was the first time I rooted anything. The reason I wanted to root it was pdroid. I have installed 3 or 4 different roms on it trying to get pdroid to work on them with no luck. I have also used the auto patcher like it says to. The tablet says it's installed, and have ran the auto patcher multiple times on each rom. When I look for it in the market it still won't show up. So I'm starting to get a little frustrated because I'm not sure if I'm just not using the auto patcher correctly or if it's just does not work on my table. If anyone knows of a rom that comes with pdroid with it. Or if anyone can point me to a rom and has the patch for pdroid. Any help would be appreciated.

I too hope a dev will one day integrate pdroid, on a multiwindow capable rom, until cm integrates this feature, i guess that means stock roms for now.......either integrate, or build their rom in such a way that is compatible with a pdroid patch .
Over on the official thread, looks like the dev has added stock compatibility, but i suspect its for specific stock roms, could be wrong

I think it was for very specific devices, if i got the gist of it right, i think a dev needs to implement it into a rom specifically for our note 10's
yes,but i've no knowlegde at all for doing this. i was hoping you found something.

I found out something similar to pdroid... it's called XPrivacy and runs on top of the Xposed framework. it needs root but it's pretty straight foward to install and use. it also works for pratically any rom including stock.
you can find the installation/user guide on github https://github.com/M66B/XPrivacy
I'm not 100% sure but there's an article on this on android police. it works like a charm for me (jb 4.1.2 on stock)
hope you find it usefull like i did!!

Hi,
I am xda-developers reader/lurker for years but this is a first time that I am not able to continue without your help.
I just got Note 10.1 and I would like to have pdroid on it. I just tried collective edition ROM and I really like it. What I miss if pdroid.
I could switch to some of CM roms but I would like to keep split screen and other great Note 10.1 specific features.
Any ideas? Thanks.

So far, because of closed source of the kernel or some other things (what I have heard), it's not possible to make a working room with pdroid. I already tried that with... omega rom I think. The autopatcher worked but not pdroid/pdroid2.0 after flashing. It started but crashed by collecting the apps. After some searching I read that s because of the official kernel or touch wiz. Maybe in the future. Meanwhile I am using LDE.
Edit: I also tried openpdroid, but the autopatcher stops because of a missing jpg. Tried to fix it myself, but well... Next git version maybe.
Does anyone know if anyone is working on a 4.4 ROM for the tf101? I hope there is someone, I really want to see how well the tf101 runs on it.

TimDuru was working on it but ran into some snags, so he shelved the 4.4 development while he fine-tuned his excellent 4.3 Rom (even more).
I was thinking about giving it a shot with OmniROM sources, but haven't quite got everything prepared yet to get there. I'm currently using OmniROM 4.4 sources to build TWRP for our devices, but it will require either separate device and kernel trees for a full ROM build or at least some tweaks to keep the 2 separated. If I come up with anything I'll post it.
