[Q] AOSP Compile has no accelerometer

I'm at my wits end.. I've downloaded and compiled GB 2.3.5 to find no auto-rotate on my 9020A NS.. So I downloaded 2.3.4 and compiled that, STILL no auto rotate..
I downloaded and extracted into the code the 4 binaries from google but the accelerometer isnt among them.
Is this a problem for the AOSP builds of 2.3.4 and 2.3.5?
Am I nuts?
Is there a patch?
Any info would be awesome.
Take libakm.so from stock rom and put it in your build.
Worked perfectly! Thanks a bunch Pete!
As this thread floats into oblivion, if there is any interest in a unmodified completely 100% AOSP compile of 2.3.5 for the Nexus S, (I couldnt find one that was 100% unmodified, perhaps I didnt look hard enough) everyone let me know I'll produce a cwm zip of my build. I realize AOSP is easy for the semi initiated, but some people might not have the time/desire/knowhow,etc..
My goal of starting this is to port over some aspects of Honeycomb I like, including the launcher, lockscreen and what not by modifying existing functioning gb code..
Hopefully I'll finally make my first dev ROM in a couple of weeks.
Thanks again to Pete for the accelerometer fix.

[Q] Deodex stock 4.0.3

Anyone have deodex stock 4.0.3?
I am looking for the same thing. Saw some links on the boards; however, those were dead links. Anyone have just a simple stock deodexed /zip aligned without mods or tweaks?
Are you looking for the 4.0.3 ROM specifically? I posted a deodexed version yesterday of the NS4G 4.0.4 ROM.
It appears that there has been some difficulty getting the ICS ROMs to deodex properly without resorting to deodexing manually. (As far as I've seen, they'll install and run properly, but will produce errors when decompiling). If there is enough interest for it, I can work on it, but since I don't have an automated script to help, it's a bit time consuming. However, if you're just looking for particular apps, you can extract the ones in the link above and install them.
i have one.
how can i give it to you?

[Q] Transparent homescreen statusbar for CM10 Jelly Bean 4.1.2 based rom?

Hi all!
I've recently installed a CM10 Jelly Bean 4.1.2 based rom on my HTC Desire GSM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2017966 and I've been trying to figure out how to make the homescreen statusbar transparent, I've searched the web and these forums and tried different methods, but none of them have worked out so far, some because they're meant for previous Android OS versions and others because they're for specific moded roms (eg. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1890150).
So, my question is, does anyone know how to make the Statusbar (where the battery, signal, wifi indicators, etc are located) tranparent/semi-transparent on Jelly Bean..or more specifically CyanogenMod v10? What system files need to be modified (XML's, PNG's, APK's)?
If someone comes up with a working solution, it would be great to create a brief guide on how to achive it, I wouldn't mind doing it myself, as I'm sure there's other people trying to figure out the same....For me it's hard to believe that such a simple yet visually important tweak hasn't yet been figured out (aparantely) for one of the latest OS versions.
Thanks in advance!!

Has anyone found an easier solution?

Stock JB Xposed Framework Compatible?

Apologies if this has already been covered, search is currently offline/disabled, so I could only search XDA using Google and didn't find anything.
I'm running the stock Jelly Bean ROM (4.1.2) DeODEX'd with a few little tweaks, nothing big.
I was checking out the Xposed Framework project ( read here ) and wondering if anyone knows if it's compatible with the stock'ish Photon Q 4G ROM?
If someone is able to confirm/deny it would save the time of backing up, flashing/installing, then having to restore back if it isn't.
Thanks in advance.:good:
I haven't tried it myself, but it should work on any device.
Just be sure you take that backup so you can restore...
Based on this comment - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41156747&highlight=xposed#post41156747
Looks like it in all likelihood works fine, so I'll probably give it a shot this evening after work.
As an update, the framework installs fine, no issues at all. Some of the modules available work, some are exclusive to HTC or Samsung devices, so unfortunately those are a no go.
