[Q] [ROM] Android Revolution HD 6.8.0 broken link - HTC Sensation

Ive been trying to download the new Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) + Sense UI 3.6 + Beats Audio ROM but link seems broken. it just reloads a new tab with the same page as before and no download. Has any one got a link that works or can point me in the right direction
Cheers

If no one sends the link here you can go to the developers site for that Rom and let them know link is broken.all on that site will be using that particular Rom and more likely will have another link for download.they might already have it posted there, have you checked? You should look over that particular site and I'm sure you will find what you need. If link isn't available at least then the developer will be made aware of the situation and can fix the issue. Hope this helps out. Best wishes

Super Wipe versions
Most of the download links were fixed within the last couple days and/or you can find them in the thread somewhere, but the Super Wipe and radio downloads are still down. I can't post in the developer's thread cuz I'm a noob (don't have enough posts specifically). Two questions: First, I have the Super Wipe .zip from when I flashed the ARHD 6.5. Can I use that one still, or does it have to be one for 6.8.0? Second, can anyone send me another link and/or the .zip if I do need the one specifically for 6.8.0? Thanks!

Noob on Sensation Xe needs help to root

As I received my brand nu Xe yesterday, I'm now on rooting it to delete unwanted apps.
I'm comming from Leo with Nand roms, where flashing was easier as rooting Android devices to me
Tried different threads, found different unanswerd questions about rooting, Hroot, S-off and stuff but to be honest, I have no clue how to do it with the XE.
I had the MAGDLR on it so flashing was like playing with toys, but now,....can't go on.
The stock rom which is on board on my TMO_DE XE is okay for me, no nned to flash another rom, but all I wanna do is to get rid of all unwanted sys app I never us.
Can anyone give me a helping hand on this?
thx in advance
P
Look on YouTube, theirs loads of videos on how to get s-off and rooting. Being the sensation XE doesn't make it any different from the original sensation just XE processors clock limit is 1.5ghz so follow guides for either

Hi there,
I just went to revolution website and followed the instructions in this topic: -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300
I had no issues (I didnt super-cid or whatever its called). May I also recommend you look at InsertCoin ROM V3.4.4, it is fast and causes no issues. if you want 2.3.4 Sensation XE ROM, Virtuous v2.2 is great.....I'm stuck deciding which of these two to use as my daily
Good luck
LoL,
I successfully S-Offed my Xe now and downloaded the rom manager.
so, do I still need to run busybox or something?

you don't need busy box. If you are already S off and have clock work installed. You are good to go. Get you a ROM, transfer to sd, enter recovery, and flash away.
HTC Sensation 4G
CMR says that its NOT rooted, but I did with that revolutionary tool and it also downloaded CMR, but I can't find it
You need to flash a recovery through fastboot, then flash superuser through recovery. (or just flash a new rom) to get root

I went into recovey and it installed CWR. It rebbots now and then, hopefully, I will somehow get root access. all I want to do is to delete system apps out of my stock rom

Be careful though because some apps may rely on the apps your about to delete, to function so be careful dude

If you got the custom recovery, and you are rooted, then download an app (this one),that way you can lock those apps that you don't need, so you can save some RAM, and battery.
If you're worried you're doing it wrong you might be
check out the guide in my sig. Very simplified and noobproof.
Thank you guys,
fortunatly I decided to flash a custom rom Now its rooted and I can delete the unwanted apps Damned, Xe is fast as hell. Guessed, Leo was, but now it breaks records
used the guide in the post about and it works well. here is the link again. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20254365#post20254365

Wrong forum. this is the XL forum. THe XE and XL are completely different phones.
The guide for the Sensation and XE are here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300
Best of luck.
that method not working
unfortunately, it is probably best if you ask the question in that forum though, as your question is not about sensation XL (which this forum is for) and the forum that was linked above is for SENSATION and SENSATION XE.
unfortunately in my case HTC Super tool v3 and revolutionary are not working. I am not able to S-off my HTC Sensatio XE (with beats audio) 2.3.4. I dont know what is wrong.
Is it possible that since i have downloaded the update HTC Super tool v3 is not working? also revolutionary is giving error and failed to root. Can you please help

[Q] Concerning webstar1's new ICS ROM for HTC Sensation

Umm .. yeah. Ain't got 10 post's so i've posted here instead of the ROM's thread >_> Here's the thread specifically: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1406322
My question shouldn't be already on the forum's since the ROM is new, though i did still check the 5 thread's the forum bot thingy suggested. Got nothing.
Anyway, onto my question / problem. Everything works completely fine (few issues with pics loading but then, everyone has that with the new ROM). My current issue is no matter what option i set my screen time out too. Be it via the general Settings > Display > timeout duration or Via the Power saver > screen time out duration (can't find / think of any other places it can be set) my sensation keep's "timing out" at like 20-30 seconds. Which is starting to get annoying when i place my phone down for a bit then have to keep unlocking (spesh when i use the funky Face- recog feature)
Obviously aimed @ webster1 and those using the ROM along with me, but is there a fix for this? I've yet to see anyone else express this "problem" in the thread, unless im jsut blind lol.
Any help will be appreciated to make this killer ROM that much better
Regard's
Oh and yeah, i'm new here, hai =]
Also forgot, if anyone would be kind enough to link this thread in the above lnik to the ROM's thread so my issue can atleast get looked at.
Don't want to spam 10 post's just so i can post in the DEV section >_>
Regards

Ty for the reply, i'll try this tomorrow (going out soon \o/). Can i assume this will also sort out the problem of any music i add to my SD not being reconised in my "norification / Ringtone" screen? I have all the music i had before there when i used factroy ROM, so obviousy can use it. But any new music i add to the SD isnt getting reconised. Even when i use the "add" button in the ringtone screen, which let's you search through your SD and choose files, it still won't add them nor does it appear in my "Music" section when i use the music app.
Also would it be possible for you(or anyone) to link this thread in the one i linked in my OP, that way the dev can see my problem and help me out also.
Again, ty for the reply and any further help =]
I'll be honest, I would just wait for a stable release from HTC. While the ICS roms are great now, they're going to keep having issues like this, or SD card contents not being seen for hours, laggy hardware acceleration, slow app load times, skippy scrolling, etc etc.
It's best to just wait for the time being. I flashed that rom yesterday and had the same issue, along with some of what I listed above, I couldn't find a way to fix it and I tried dalvik/cache wiping, fixing permissions, and reinstalling the rom (twice).

Reading between the lines it looks like it updates HBOOT and Revolutionary can't do its job. Folks were posting about having to use the HTC unlock method.

The scrolling speed and length has been edited by HTC, it has nothing to do with the fact that its an early leak. The scrolling is very likely to stay like that for the official RUU of ICS as well

OK, lax on my words, sorry.
I was posting as some one said they wanted to wait until HTC released the ICS RUU. I posted an XDA link that it had. Some people do not want to, nor will ever, use the HTC unlock mechanism.
If it's the same as other threads I've read you lose Fastboot access to the phone which might be a big issue to some. If that info has changed or wrong, I apologise for giving misleading/wrong info.

Hi,
What ROM are you actually trying to download and install?
See now I'm confused. Your title says you can't download but your post says you can't flash. Now which is it? Cause everyone is giving you solutions on how to download.
If downloading is the problem, see posts 3 and 4
If flashing is your problem, see post 2 (mine)
I'm mobile right now
You only need new firmware for ICS ROM, not for 3.6.x. what are you trying to flash?

Why don't you try asking in the ROM thread. That way the ARHD team are more likely to provide support also.
I'm sorry for the mix-up...I'm having problems flashing the ARHD 6.0.2 ics rom.Probably because i have'nt got super cid and the latest firmware yet.I appreciate the help and again i'm sorry.

Now what is that? Devs cannot and must never be rushed? I've programmed robits, and I've been rushed a lot. Developers aren't some sacred monks or other, I mean, it's rude to rush them, especially if you're not paying them, but we don't need to act as if we're below them and they're The Great Developers And Or Modders of Android.
Or you shouldn't rush them unless you want a bug filled rom.

And my question is: I have 3.32.709.108 CL318920 release-keys

Hi,
Any firmware with 3.32 at the beginning is good to flash the arhd ROM.
My advice is, keep what you have.
If it works, great.
If it doesn't, flash the other firmware.

The suspense is killing me...Beats Audio flashable file?
God...I hate not being able to post/ask questions in the other threads...but this is my question:
The new Tmous ARHD Rom 6.7 will have, most likely, only Tmous Wifi attached to it but from what I've read it will most likely NOT have Beats Audio...but somewhere I've read that you can Flash Beats Audio onto the rom after everything is installed...so, where can I find that file?
You see, I just want to get everything ready to flash the ARHD Rom+Beats Audio, flashed the EXT4 Recovery, I already have the Firmware ready...got the Kernel (Faux123's)...the overall suspense is killing me!
Thanks in advance for anyone linking me (and other n00bs like me) up!

Elegancia TMOUS 2.0.0 already has beats on it. And there is only good feedback about the Rom. It comes with aroma installer so you can install exactly what you want and need (beats is standard though)
