Hi,
When I use the term "soon",I use it loosely.
Devs cannot and must never be rushed.

There's a few dishes being cooked over in Development...

Now what is that? Devs cannot and must never be rushed? I've programmed robits, and I've been rushed a lot. Developers aren't some sacred monks or other, I mean, it's rude to rush them, especially if you're not paying them, but we don't need to act as if we're below them and they're The Great Developers And Or Modders of Android.

Or you shouldn't rush them unless you want a bug filled rom.

The requirements listed for the 6.7 ROM say firmware 3.32.401.x is required. I already have 3.32.531.14 from the T-Mobile US update. Do I really need to go back to 3.32.401?

Hi,
They are essentially the same firmwares(3.32),so YES,you can flash the new ROM with either. <---you answered...
And my question is: I have 3.32.709.108 CL318920 release-keys
Is it that it only needs to be 3.32.xxxx or must I have one of the two listed above? I just don't wanna do a step that I don't have to...eagerly awaiting for the rom to be posted!
(BTW, sorry posting here...it's because I'm not allowed to post in the other thread yet, bummer...)

Hi,
Any firmware with 3.32 at the beginning is good to flash the arhd ROM.
My advice is, keep what you have.
If it works, great.
If it doesn't, flash the other firmware.

The suspense is killing me...Beats Audio flashable file?
God...I hate not being able to post/ask questions in the other threads...but this is my question:
The new Tmous ARHD Rom 6.7 will have, most likely, only Tmous Wifi attached to it but from what I've read it will most likely NOT have Beats Audio...but somewhere I've read that you can Flash Beats Audio onto the rom after everything is installed...so, where can I find that file?
You see, I just want to get everything ready to flash the ARHD Rom+Beats Audio, flashed the EXT4 Recovery, I already have the Firmware ready...got the Kernel (Faux123's)...the overall suspense is killing me!
Thanks in advance for anyone linking me (and other n00bs like me) up!

Perhaps a better question would be "which RUU am I looking for?". Which is basically what i asked in the first place. Plus I'm sure somebody has the RUU number memorized anyway.
I'm not asking anybody to do any work for me. Hence "links would be awesome". Meaning, IF he was willing to post links for me I would appreciate it very much. Thanks for taking me out of context.
Now can somebody please tell me which RUU I should be looking for?

What ROM are you actually trying to download and install?
See now I'm confused. Your title says you can't download but your post says you can't flash. Now which is it? Cause everyone is giving you solutions on how to download.

Hi,
Yes,it can.
But you are going from one base to another.
So,you will have to Super wipe BEFORE installing the new ROM.
Main difference are the visuals.
You are jumping from Sense 3.0 to Sense 3.5
3.5 is prettier, but it is a "TEST" ROM,so there are a few minor bugs(nothing serious)
When I left it(on 4.1.9) it was stable

Hi,
Careful with the terminology..
You now have "4EXT" not ext4....2 different things.
4EXT is an upgraded and better version of CWM.
They are fully interchangeable.
+ the latest beta is a touch screen UI.
How cool is that?
ARHD 6.0.0 is Ice-Cream-Sandwich (ICS)
It is the way things are going.
I believe mike said 4.1.13 is going to be the last one he is producing ...

If you are interested in ICS,start reading up.

And if you are up to ICS it is important to read carefully that guide. Lot of people have

But ill put thumps up for the ICS its really cool update for sensation. And looking up for the

but make sure you have 2-3 roms backed up just in case anything goes wrong
and make a new backup every month/week (depents how much you flash)

ADB and SDK go on your PC.
Another important thing,for future reference.
Did you say you had 4EXT?
It contains an MD5 checksum checker.Use it for all radio images.A bad image will almost certainly brick your phone.
Always do a check before you flash any radio/firmware or ROM.

Sense ROM Question

Hello,
I just got my Sensation on Friday and was trying to load the DarkForest ROM onto it this evening. I got through the installation, but it hung at the white HTC screen. Other Sensation users in that thread said that it works for them. Does anyone know what I can do to get these ROM's working? I also tried installing Android Revolution ROM and it did the same thing.
Thanks!
Just to clarify are you trying to install ICS or gingerbread roms? Do you have the correct firmware HBoot 1.17 for gingerbread and 1.27 for ICS.
Yeah you most probably do not have the correct, ICS, firmware. Look in the ROM thread (here) for the correct firmware to flash.

[Q] Why S-off?

Hello guy's
I have been searching on xda and google, but did not find a clear answer for my question. I know that S-off allows you to do anything to your phone, and i read 'Alpharev'.
I have unlocked my bootloader, flashed the recovery and rooted my Sensation Hboot 1.27.. using the Hasoon All in one toolkit.
The phone is still s-on and i flashed cyanagenmod 9. All working.
The question is: Wat difference does it make when i make my phone s-off? Is it meaningfull to do it?
I am just a noob on this territory, so is it usefull for me to doe the ('risky') wire-trick to S-off my phone?
Thank you!

Hi,
S-off will enable you to flash different firmwares and radios, and any RUU.
Until you NEED to do any of those things, you are OK on s-on.
What the post above says, there's really no need to unless you're gonna be messing with radios, different firmware, cid, and stuff like that

super cid you can flash any firmware region, but it is not required for your device's own firmware.. firmware upgrades are sometimes a must when flashing different roms (like going from gb to ics or vice versa) if you are already on ics I really don't think it's a benefit to upgrade to another ics firmware if yours works fine.. and you can flash different radios that might improve signal and better reception (results vary so only real way to know is to try one yourself) hope that was clear, that's as far as I know

Like above post says, basically you have more freedom to do what you want with s off. Also flashing involves less steps with soff. I'm s off and I'm glad I did it. I can change radios firmwares, with ease.

Yes i had allready flashed the Google apps. I now got it fixed by getting back to stock rom and synced the contacts once more.
But the strange thing is that CM9 still keeps saying: 'No contacts on SIM'.
For the firmware, I do not know which firmware is needed. Is it so that I need a ICS rom?, or must I look at the number, 3.33...
Thanks for all your help!
Edit: I know I need a ICS rom, flashing for instance gb is impossible without flashing firmware.. but must the numbers match?

I think it's all great, but I some terms and actions are a little over my head, so I don't excactly understand what the things mean when I'm s-off.
I'm totally new to the rooting and flashing, but I think it's fun to do.
For instance: What is Supercid/cid and RUU excactly?

I had already seen that guide, I did the same steps, but with the all in one toolkit by Rasoon.

Well depends. I know some Miui 3.33 roms run awful on 3.32. Makes no sense as 3.33 was literally radio related update.
Otherwise yeah they should mat h. 3.32/3.33 seem to be backward compatible though.
SIM part though that is a new one to me
