Hi,
What ROM are you actually trying to download and install?

See now I'm confused. Your title says you can't download but your post says you can't flash. Now which is it? Cause everyone is giving you solutions on how to download.
If downloading is the problem, see posts 3 and 4
If flashing is your problem, see post 2 (mine)
I'm mobile right now

You only need new firmware for ICS ROM, not for 3.6.x. what are you trying to flash?
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio using XDA App

Why don't you try asking in the ROM thread. That way the ARHD team are more likely to provide support also.

I'm sorry for the mix-up...I'm having problems flashing the ARHD 6.0.2 ics rom.Probably because i have'nt got super cid and the latest firmware yet.I appreciate the help and again i'm sorry.

Sense ROM Question

Hello,
I just got my Sensation on Friday and was trying to load the DarkForest ROM onto it this evening. I got through the installation, but it hung at the white HTC screen. Other Sensation users in that thread said that it works for them. Does anyone know what I can do to get these ROM's working? I also tried installing Android Revolution ROM and it did the same thing.
Thanks!
Just to clarify are you trying to install ICS or gingerbread roms? Do you have the correct firmware HBoot 1.17 for gingerbread and 1.27 for ICS.
Yeah you most probably do not have the correct, ICS, firmware. Look in the ROM thread (here) for the correct firmware to flash.

Now what is that? Devs cannot and must never be rushed? I've programmed robits, and I've been rushed a lot. Developers aren't some sacred monks or other, I mean, it's rude to rush them, especially if you're not paying them, but we don't need to act as if we're below them and they're The Great Developers And Or Modders of Android.
Or you shouldn't rush them unless you want a bug filled rom.

Hi,
They are essentially the same firmwares(3.32),so YES,you can flash the new ROM with either. <---you answered...
And my question is: I have 3.32.709.108 CL318920 release-keys
Is it that it only needs to be 3.32.xxxx or must I have one of the two listed above? I just don't wanna do a step that I don't have to...eagerly awaiting for the rom to be posted!
(BTW, sorry posting here...it's because I'm not allowed to post in the other thread yet, bummer...)

Hi,
Any firmware with 3.32 at the beginning is good to flash the arhd ROM.
My advice is, keep what you have.
If it works, great.
If it doesn't, flash the other firmware.

The suspense is killing me...Beats Audio flashable file?
God...I hate not being able to post/ask questions in the other threads...but this is my question:
The new Tmous ARHD Rom 6.7 will have, most likely, only Tmous Wifi attached to it but from what I've read it will most likely NOT have Beats Audio...but somewhere I've read that you can Flash Beats Audio onto the rom after everything is installed...so, where can I find that file?
You see, I just want to get everything ready to flash the ARHD Rom+Beats Audio, flashed the EXT4 Recovery, I already have the Firmware ready...got the Kernel (Faux123's)...the overall suspense is killing me!
Thanks in advance for anyone linking me (and other n00bs like me) up!

Elegancia TMOUS 2.0.0 already has beats on it. And there is only good feedback about the Rom. It comes with aroma installer so you can install exactly what you want and need (beats is standard though)

OTA update received today. Won't install. Help.

Received OTA on my sensation today but as soon as it unpacks while installing it ends up with a red triangle. Looked through XDA. Couldn't find anything appropriate.
Any one knows how to deal with this?
The phone is non rooted with everything stock. Running ICS Sense 3.6.

Ok the assert line is the crucial information here because in the script to update it, it checks each individual file checksum and compares it against the one htc put in the script, if they match, it applies the patch, if not then you get assert error on the first apk.
My guess is that you have the 3.32.401.5 ROM whereas the OTA is for 3.32.401.5_R ROM and the checksums are obviously different in the two different ROM versions. My suggestion would be to find the Shipped Pyramid ROM Collection thread by Football in the dev section and download the 3.32.401.5_R RUU, make sure to download 3.32.401.5_R and not 3.32.401.5 then run the RUU and wait for OTA and it should apply without any problems so long as you flash the correct RUU
Also can be a bad download - maybe deleting the file and download again worth a shot.

[Q] HTC Sensation with cm9, faux, and ARHD

Hello Guys!
First: Sorry for my worst english, i've learned it only from movies and games.
I dont want to post a new thread, but i cant find the answer for MY question.
I want to install Android Revolution HD for my Sensation Z710e.
My phone is: HTC Sensation Z710e
Android version: 4.0.4
Baseband version: 11.76A.3504.00P_11.24A.3504.31_M
Kernel version: 3.0.42-MSM8660-Sense-Faux123-v009+
Cyanogenmod: CM 9.1.0-pyramid
CWM version: 5.0.2.0
I want to install ARHD, but i dont know, because i cant find any instruction, and i'm afraid that i will brick my phone.
I've found great instructions, but not for my CM9 or my kernel.
Or did i complicates too, and the install is easier than I thought?
So can i install ARHD with CM9 and these settings above, or i need to flash back the stock ICS and kernel? Or simply download ARHD files, and flash with CMW, and it works?
Please help me if you can, and i'm really sorry if someone already wrote that problem and got the correct answer.
Thank thank thank thank you!!!

S-ON or S-OFF?
also i suggest you to flash 4ext recovery.it is better than cwm
You could always flash an RUU and start from scratch. It will keep you s-off'ed if you already are, will put a matching radio and firmware. From there you can follow the instructions on the ARHD page.

It's normal, because to install updated from HTC you need stock recovery. If you really want the update(latest has sense 3.6) you should flash stock recovery.
I suggest you try some custom ROMs, they are much better than stock in every possible way. Try ViperS and you won't get disappointed. It has sense 4.1 and sense 4.5 components with android 4.04
Edit: To flash Viper you need 4ext recovery

You can get 4ect recovery here or even on the market. Once you download the app just follow the instructions. If your s off do NOT enable smart flash, that's only for s on. It's pretty straight forward. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
