First off, this is not a classified post, so bear with me.
Looking for advice from Sensation users.
Our company is moving from T-Mobile back to Verizon. Better pricing and coverage...I'll leave it at that.
However, I have over a dozen HTC Sensation 4G devices to sell.
I've ported several phones into Verizon successfully, and while I await the final bill for these lines, the value on the phone drops every day.
I know you can take this phone, put your SIM in and it works fine...
Look, my company pays it's bills and we have every intention of paying the ETF fees to TMOUS once I get my darned bill...
Do you think it's a good idea or bad, from my perspective, to put these phones up on eBay to sell? They are all clean, well taken care of and protected. But every day I don't list them, they lose value.
Your thoughts, fellow XDA folks?
Honestly, I don't know know what you want us to tell you...you either sell them or you don't. Do u need the money? Then sell them. Otherwise just keep them or give them to someone

I was having a conversation with a friend of mine the other day and he told me this:He found some guy who was selling some phones(well not only one,but he happened to speak to this guy) that were stolen,most probably from shipments or shops' warehouses/stocks.Said phones included a Galaxy S,an iPhone 3GS etc,and he was selling them for like 50 euros.My friend told me he was tempted to buy one of them but he didn't in the end.However the question came to me:Is it okay if someone bought such a device?I know that it's not morally right,that's not what I wanna know.What I want to know is whether buying such a phone hides any dangers.Can the company(for example Samsung) trace them?Do they know they've been stolen?Could someone who bought one of them get in trouble,and if yes,how?

If the IMEI or SN have been reported as stolen then the company you try to register the phone will see that it's blacklisted and most likely 1)deny you service and/or 2) report you to the authorities.

XDA doesn't allow discussion about stolen phones.
They can easily be traced, and network location can be used to locate the user, if the police wish to take you in for a "little chat".
Not something to get involved in. You could end up with a criminal record for handling stolen goods, or worse...

I recently brought this cell phone with me from New York and it's working fine here, but I would like to know if there is any way to switch to Dutch language with any of the available roms?
Not at this time. If you have looked around you will notice development for this phone is going a little slow. Give it some time and hopefully once we get some rom's you could put in that request. Keep an eye out for a stable rom, then ask. Chances are a dev won't want to start doing something like that untill he has all the bugs worked out.
P.S. Keep an eye out if anyone wants an unlocked vibrant for cheap.

Well there ya go. Cash in hand is much simpler than ebay. I just sent one to canada and it got returned from customs. The lady that bought was none to happy. So I sent her one of the other ones USPS Express ($39)

Just wondering how much everyone paid for their Sensation 4G in the end, and how they went about getting the deal that they got.
I am currently an EM+ customer and I called in and they basically told me that they couldn't do anything for me (I said that I was interested in signing a two-year contract). The girl just referred me to the website saying that it was 250 and 50 rebate. I mentioned the $150 walmart price and she says "Yeah I think CostCo has it for like $90 too". bummer.
Please see the thread that talks about Releasing for Tmobile. I know it's big, but a lot of it is discussing peoples deals that they got. There's really no reason to start a new thread for it. I know you know about the thread too because you've posted in it.

New contract? Renewal?
Paid just taxes on 249 (that is around $20), and got it on 2 year contract extension. Had to talk with 4 CS reps, before getting this.
Some person will get a better deal than others. I think its depend to whom you are negotiate to.
But the worry point is, some one will not satisfied with others and will complain to their carrier/supplier and in the end all will not get a good benefit due to many complain others get good deal than yours..something like starting a "war" for the good deal..lol..
That's why its better to keep to your self on a good deal. So that the war will not start..lol

I have a brand new unopened unused Mytouch 4g slide for sale if anyone is interested. I had the original mytouch 4g and after so many warrenty replacments they told me I qualifyed for a free upgrade to a similer phone (go figure) . I don't like keybore phones so I just told em to send it to me with the hopes that I can sell it to someone and take the money and buy either a Sensation or the Amaze. If Anyone is interesed PM me or email me at [email protected]. I'd like to try n get at least 375 for it since shipping will cost, leaving me with a good amount to get another phone. I know brand new the mytouch 4g slide is around $500 so consider this a deal of a lifetime! (I'm a terrible sales man lol)

How is this for a good deal. I went thru 4 warranty replacements on my G2 so they sent me a brand new MT4GS. My wife didnt even go thru 1 replacement and they sent her a brand new LG G2x to replace her Samsung Galaxy S 4G .

Yep.. So I went down to mobile today and ended up being sold on the amaze. Not a big fan of samsung build quality and apart from htc's quality control issues, they make great phones. Ive had the G2 and MT4G, and barly ever used my G2's keyboard (except when I wanted to show off the cool flip hinge). So now I definitely NEED to sell this MT4GS since droping over 5 bills on another phone! I was only planning on seeing if they could swap it out and give me credit but they said the ime on the phone was from another department and wouldnt allow a straight up swap. Damn tmobile politics!!!

Undead, how did you talk Tmo into sending you the MT4GS instead of another G2 on the 1 yr defective phone warranty?
My mom's gone through 5 HTC HD2s (because of defective), and they still haven't offered an HD7 or something of the sort at all.
Usually it needs to be 5 warranty replacements within a 90 day period. Go into a tmobile store and ask a representitive, they should be able to tell you. It HAS to be under warranty or you have to have insurence with the extended warranty service to qualify for upgrade replacement.

I would have posted in the market place but I didnt have enough posts with this XDA account. I had to use my old account I havent used since I made it because somehow I got locked out of my other one. I figured I would post the info here for individuals that are using this phone already, maybe for development purposes, for a quicker sale. Please don't make assumptions dhkr234. Some people don't like kb phones because it adds more thickness/weight. I know a lot of people who prefer to have a kb-less phone.

He will be losing more than a little bit. After eBay, PayPal fees and shipping he will be losing about $120. Unless of course he is past his return widow then he has no choice but to sell it.

ok so after reading the receipt... i had 30 days... june 6th was that date... so now i either stick with it or sell it. i was looking forward to a GS3. but maybe this phone will do.
Coming from a evo I must say the build quality on the hox has improved greatly.
The camera is fantastic, even my 7 year old can take some impressive shots.
Rooting/unlocking boot loader is a walk in the park with the AIO tools, Id say if your looking to upgrade anyways keep the hox and rub that phone in your nephews face every chance you get.
i like that. just every day have it sit there and as he does my yard work just use it for like pandora for my out door system... lol put very good use to it. thats funny
