He will be losing more than a little bit. After eBay, PayPal fees and shipping he will be losing about $120. Unless of course he is past his return widow then he has no choice but to sell it.

ok so after reading the receipt... i had 30 days... june 6th was that date... so now i either stick with it or sell it. i was looking forward to a GS3. but maybe this phone will do.
Coming from a evo I must say the build quality on the hox has improved greatly.
The camera is fantastic, even my 7 year old can take some impressive shots.
Rooting/unlocking boot loader is a walk in the park with the AIO tools, Id say if your looking to upgrade anyways keep the hox and rub that phone in your nephews face every chance you get.
i like that. just every day have it sit there and as he does my yard work just use it for like pandora for my out door system... lol put very good use to it. thats funny

Just wondering how much everyone paid for their Sensation 4G in the end, and how they went about getting the deal that they got.
I am currently an EM+ customer and I called in and they basically told me that they couldn't do anything for me (I said that I was interested in signing a two-year contract). The girl just referred me to the website saying that it was 250 and 50 rebate. I mentioned the $150 walmart price and she says "Yeah I think CostCo has it for like $90 too". bummer.

New contract? Renewal?
Paid just taxes on 249 (that is around $20), and got it on 2 year contract extension. Had to talk with 4 CS reps, before getting this.
Some person will get a better deal than others. I think its depend to whom you are negotiate to.
But the worry point is, some one will not satisfied with others and will complain to their carrier/supplier and in the end all will not get a good benefit due to many complain others get good deal than yours..something like starting a "war" for the good deal..lol..
That's why its better to keep to your self on a good deal. So that the war will not start..lol

So i'll sell mine for $250 shipped. $475 for the pair. They are att&t. But also one of the easiest phones ever to unlock. I'm glad to do it for anyone that wants it done before shipping. At the moment they've never been out the box.

Not sure how to respond. Because your absolutely correct. No one has any reason to trust me what so ever. And theres no way to change that. But my options are this or ebay. They have lost tons of value as it is because of the length of time I've had them. I'm sure I could get 500 on ebay, but by the time I pay their fee and paypal s fee for the money transfer and the shipping cost I might have 425 left. If you've sold on ebay then u know. And we all know what they cost so the thought of selling a brand new galaxy s for $212.50 seemed crazy. Wasn't sure what to do. I dont need the money but they'll be worth nothing if I continue to hold on to them. Its ok if u dont trust me.

Ha. I didn't know. I'm sorry I came off wrong. I was just trying to get rid of a couple extra phones. I know nothing about "scamming". Can we just delete this post? Just bought a second one for my wife. I'll keep these until the Galaxy Note has been out for a month or two. Loving that 5.3 inch SAMOLED. No reason to go to the SGS2 that I can see. It is awesome, but not that much better than the Captivate.

Sure there is. I havnt sold in a couple years(another reason why I shy away, so much has changed) but i remember paying an extra .25 just to have a pic posted during search. Extra charges if you use alotta pictures. And the charge just to post, and the extra if you sell your item. Things of that sort. My accounts havnt been activated in a while. I went back to paypal the other day just to update that accout. New bank and such. Because i bought a few accesories for the captivate I use now. If the person thats interested perhaps lives in southern VA or northern NC maybe we could meet. I live on the line midway (Halifax County, VA) Or if there is someone you really trust on the forum I could send the item to the first. And when they get it they can let you know. Then I could recieve my payment. Of course it would have to be someone of high standing. I would hate to get ripped off myself. Just know I'm not here to scam anyone. I could take pics of the items if it helps. At least you'd know I actually have them. Beside a printout of this post so you know i didnt just copy a picture from the web. I'm trying here guys. I'm an honest person. I dont care if I sell them now. I guess now I'm just trying to build a little trust.

So I purchased my One X on launch day at best buy (May 6th) and have premier silver so I have a 45 day return period.
I was emailed a rewardzone mobile deal today for a free $100 gc (rewardzone points) for any cell phone purchase and 24 mo agreement including the one x.
I will be going to bestbuy and getting the deal or its getting returned and repurchased. Looks like white is out of stock , but grey is still in stock if anyone is interested. Looks to be online only deal.

Just a heads up , I went to the bestbuy store and they wouldnt do a thing for me. They told me since its online only I would have to call in and see what they can do. I will try that and let you know what happens. Worst case I return it and reorder online. Im leading towards that anyways since I have a dead pixel.
I was directed to call rewardzone directly, through 1888bestbuy. They said I could get the $100, but I would need to return my phone and get it from reward zone directly.

Best buy was the only place you could find this phone in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada).. they seem to always have a few extra phones that are in high demand.. the thing is, it usually takes a little while for them to help you out... but at least I got my HOX on release day. the rogers store didn't even have any

What did you have to tell them to get hooked up?
All I told them was I received the deal in my email for the 100 dollar giftcard w/ any cell phone purchase (which i did less than 30 days ago) asked him what my options were , return it or if there was something he could do.
I just tried this, and they were snippy with me. They said that I'd have to return the phone. I mentioned that I "had a friend" who was just given the credit, and the rep said "I can neither confirm nor deny that." Sounded like a canned speech.

~$350 for two years seems steep but then again....
It covers two replacements per year, any damage. Physical, take it swimming, drive over it, etc. if it breaks they fix it. period. Im going in this weekend to get it on my tablet then im coming home and unlocking it. Really, i think its expensive but over two years if i dont like something i can smash it and get them to send it off and fix it / replace it.
If your going to use it, go for it. If your not planning on using it, maybe just get the squaretrade warrenty if it applies to you. only about $100
For me, i've seen my sister accidentally drop her tablet. Boom, CID, no manufacturer warrenty. I've seen on these forums people send the tablet in for something completely unrelated and if theres ANY marks Asus can claim customer induced damage and void your warrenty. Im carefull with my stuff but Asus has NOT impressed me with these tablets. I think its worth it.
(Make sure you get the skinny on the warrentys from the sales reps, IN WRITING, and KEEP THOSE PAPERS! BestBuy is great for trying to say "oh thats not covered" and having that paper saying "uh huh this is what the sales rep told me" can save your ass. )

Get Squaretrade 2 year warranty with Accidental plan. $100. If you have a 30% coupon (easy to acquire), 70$.
I recommend if for sure, based on previous experience with their warranty program.

Dont know were you got your price information at, i just bought a pad 2 days ago at best buy, its $99 for one year, with no option for renewal, and $169 for 2 years with the option for renewal. I am not sure but i believe best buys pricing is the same across the country. may be wrong, but thats definitely how much it is in Savannnah, GA. And no warranty best buy offers covers you beaking a device through dropping it or such, I asked this exact question to 2 seperate sales associates. Safest way to think of a Best Buy warranty is that you get to exchange it in the store and get a replacement right away as opposed to having to wait on shipping and such. And on most devices you can repurchase a new warranty on the exchanged device(did this with 6 XBox 360's during the red ring of death era, and with a TV i had problems with) Not trying to argue or anything, just give the OP more opinions and experiences.
I also got the $99 for one year plan, and they offered the $169 for 2 years. I've never heard of the $350 plan
I got the advanced plan which covers accidents, for 169 and is good for two years and can be extended. Since I purchased my Infinity for $347 using Best Buy price match, square trade wasn't really an option for me. With square trade, they only cover up to purchase price, and I don't think I will be able to get another one for that price for a while.
The price has gone up to 416, still good price though.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone here on the glacier forums. I picked up a Tmobile Samsung Galaxy S2 brand new in the box for $50 so I couldnt pass up on the offer. I will be upgrading to the s3 in a couple months but dev on s2 is still going strong.
